    @Sly0- thank you for looking out for the least of the brothers. You gave the young a chance on his tour guide business and he is grateful. You are like me- you look out for the least of the people and give them a chance. Respect. Love N Light

    I've been there many times. Nice place. I never seen Desmond Tutu home but since he is dead, it will probably be turn into a museum like Nelson Mandela. The performances are great there, and the restaurant. There is one particular restaurant that serve an all you can eat buffet. You gotta be careful with the beggars there. 😆 🤣 😂...they will harass you until you give them something. Did you see the Hector Pieterson museum? Its not that far from there and also the Apartheid museum. There a new Nelson Mandela museum/hotel somewhere in Eastern Cape that should be open now. When I took my road trip early this year, it wasn't yet open. Great video, thank you for sharing.

    If we had a decent government, they'd take branding advantage of the name "Maboneng" and spare it from loadshedding. It would always be lite there, literally, even as the entire country faces darkness and we wouldn't complain as a country because that's what its name suggests and it would draw more investment into property and traffic to the night life as everyone would want to be in the "city of lights" when it is dark at home...
    But because we have such a useless government, what would they know about what branding means instead of dragging their big bellies to 5 star restaurants in Sandton to eat the looted state funds? 😒

    I am sure the driving in no more reckless than what you have already experienced in America. And I live in America people are not courteous anymore at all.

    • @slyslife
      @slyslife  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's more reckless for me here walking around. I've almost been hit 5-6 times already. Luckily, I see them first just like what happened in the video.

      You don't have the right of way in the street here in RSA ... so the cars won't stop for you ... they have the right of way

      @bandit4true 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@slyslife i live in miami and i see how the drivers act when someone is trying to cross the streets although people are supposed to have the right of way. Then again miami is full of foreigners who may not understand the U.S driving rules. No argument here just pointing out a different prospective.
