Looks much better than I expected from the preview pictures. The logo is the only set back, but given the overall appearance and price, I think this is an excellent value. If I didn't already have a very nice dual plated WM4 version, I would totally go for this.
WWEShop just relisted this belt for pre-order. The image that notes all of the corrections and improvements indicates the retro WWE logo on the side plates is now centered which this is also apparent just by looking at the pictures. This truly is a beautiful piece, even as it is in the video prior to the couple of corrections.
I just had one of these delivered yesterday. I looks awesome in person. I'm glad I bought it because it looks so much better in person than the pics make it look on the shop site.
After watching your video I am very impressed with how this duel plated winged eagle replica came out from WWE shop, I might get one myself in the future.
Thank you for uploading that fast to show us new the new replica of the dual Pilates winged eagle. Bret Hart didn't have a dual plated - from Warrior on it was gold only... What I dont like is the "WORLD" beeing arised that much...but aside of that the best they (WWE) sold till now
Its worth the price just for the fact the side bars are attached, they can’t do anything about the logo as was mentioned & for legal reasons is understandable. I liked the winged eagle Bret Hart held which looked to be cast in white gold. In saying that it could have just been tarnished.
WWE is legally allowed to use the block WWF logo, they have chosen not to as to distance themselves from it. The scratch logo is the impermissible one.
The one Bret Hart wore from his first to his last title run was the V2/V3 WWF winged eagle. This one is the infamous one that was held by Hulk Hogan, André The Giant/Ted DiBiase and Randy Savage. It was then destroyed on Saturday Nights Main Event by Lanny Poffo (Randy's brother) who was wrestling as "The Genius" and Mr Perfect over the fact that Mr Perfect "had beaten Hogan for the title" (I seem to recall Hogan won via disqualification or something), but that was a way of getting the V1/V1.5 out of the way due to the fact that Randy Savage actually was the one who damaged the belt itself by adding extra poppers at the end of the strap and WWF decided to do away with the "WWF Hulk Hogan" and "WWF Randy Savage" fifth plate, just having "WWF CHAMPION" instead like "WWF INTERCONINTENTAL" or "WWF TAG TEAM" title fifth side plates.
Back in the day when Figures Inc. Started making WWE/WWF Belts, they had the Dual Plated WWF Hogan86, I have 1 and a real Dace Millican 1...but it was Figures Inc. Who made the dual plated like 17 years ago

The Hogan 86 replica was only all gold. The WWF block logo Tag replicas from the last 80's and early 90's were dual plated along with the Andre 87 replica

I have this belt and it's nice. I think the gold on it could've been a bit more darker if that makes sense. You'll have to see it in person to get what I mean. Or maybe it's just mines the gold is lighter
It's funny, for I'm not too much a fan of covered screws. For I feel like, what if one were to break somehow, needed repair, etc., there'd be no way to do so easily. Least not that I'm aware of.
This looks SO much better than the website pics make it out to be. That said, I’ll never understand why the WW logo STILL isn’t centered on at least the side plates nor why the bottom banner says “Ghampion” with that lopsided C.
@@bizzybezz oh yeah I know why it’s off center. It’s why they decided to KEEP it off center when they were able to extend the wings and attach the bars that I don’t understand. They centered it on the classic IC.
Thanks for the review! I gotta admit, it looks pretty cool! I'm not sure if i'd purchase this over a high quality belt maker not associated with WWE (Especially since some out there make amazing dual plated Winged Eagles) especially with this price tag, but it would be nice to purchase a great Winged Eagle belt licensed from WWE.

They removed the sale of the initial run, are beginning to pre-sale again with the correction, and are shipping out corrected belts to customers that bought the belt with the error, for free. So those ppl are basically getting a belt for free. Which is cool for them. They get to keep the error belts. Those error belts might turn into a collector item of sorts in the future.
Something @hazardf5 picked up on, with a previous W.E the belt had Ghampion instead of Champion. This in the heavyweight banner, check out the T it looks like an I.
WWEShop emailed me today saying they messed up and they're going to send me a new one. They even said I get to keep this one! Looks like it has been temporarily removed from the site.

It’s all good, based on what I heard WWE Shop is allowing these people to keep the defected belt and they’re going to send a corrected belt at no extra charge. The defect isn’t too noticeable so you can use it for another purpose. Really wish I would’ve known this so I can purchase a misspelled belt before WWE Shop pulled these.

It dropped on WWEshop last week but there is a flaw in the belt. They had to stop selling it because it says "heavyweighi instead of heavyweight" once they correct the flaw they will start selling it again. It should be pretty soon because they told me they are sending me a new one and I will have it by June 25th. I would check the site everyday and buy it as soon as you can because when it dropped it sold out within hours
They were allowed for a short period of time to use the "World Wrestling Federation" name, as long as they paid the "World Wildlife Fund" the royalties, so in the end, WWE told FiguresInc belts to stop making them with the "WWF" name on and just use the "WW" logo instead.
The original agreement back in 02 was that the company could not be known as the WWF, and that the Attitude Era logo was banned, except to finish selling out old stock. They could also use the full "World Wrestling Federation" name, but not the initials. Having the name but not the initials wasn't worth it, and since the company's full name was already World Wrestling Federation Entertainment back in 2002, it was simple to just drop the F and Federation. In 2010 and 2011, there was an Old School RAW where they used the WWF block logo and billed the show as WWF Monday Night RAW. This caused issues as now all these new fans were looking up WWF, but for Wrestling, and that was considered a breach of the agreement. The World Wildlife Fund revised the agreement in 2012 and we saw the result of that on RAW 1000; they can show the Attitude Era logo on archival products without blurring or replacing, but they aren't allowed to use the WWF initials or logo of any kind (Classic, New Generation, or Attitude) on any new product at all, even if it's 'retro'. See Retro SmackDown from like 3 weeks ago, which had to use the "WW" logo. So unless a new agreement is made, you won't see the WWE making a WWF branded belt.
I have to say I am not a belt collector.. But I always wanted a Winged Eagle.. But the WWE Winged Eagles have always been less than impressive.. I hate the WWE logo.. I prefer the WWF.. With that said once this comes back I might pick it up... I hope they also come out with the later version of this best with the BLACK (Heavyweight)... This is the V1/V1.5 WWF title. It never had black around the "Heavyweight", it was all gold. It was only the V2/V3 Winged Eagle WWF title that had the black with the "HEAVYWEIGHT part.
No F ruins it for me, plus it looks kinda fake, so meh. Pakistan made is the best for this belt. Looks better than advertised though, so there's that going for it

Give the main plate a slightly bigger curve and I'd say it would be as good as they could make it.

An version of this in all gold + black paint on the heavyweight would be perfect.
Now that they have the mold for it I wouldn't be surprised if we saw that drop sometime this year.

A bit of black paint around heavyweight and it would be a perfect replica. The only thing else that would make it better is the wwf logo
