Hood was my most played ship and what I considered my flagship for about 2 years. I run AL Nelson with Scharnhorst and Guepratte. That gets her around 34.5 knots, Big Seven is OP and let's you slap without the speed penalty of Gyrating Drillbits plus 5 heals from Master Mechanic. She is an absolute terror and a threat to everything. The AP will chunk most BBs and dev strike most Cruisers, the speed HE and Sonar make her devastating to DDs that get caught. She just has so much utility which is why I love her. It's like the exact opposite of the one trick pony US BB playstyle 😂
I've had the Hood since she was first offered in the store. Got her largely due to historical significance but I've always liked the ship. I have it rigged for speed and it's fun to play. Thanks for showcasing the Hood Ghost...enjoyed watching!

You say that like Nelson isn't unique lol. Best heal in the game, original 3 front gun bb, and also probably the easiest BB to devstrike lol. Hood is just CHONKY and fast, not saying she's bad but her main gimmick is her speed which nowadays is definitely less unique, what with all the other battlecruisers at t6 and t7 now. Of course historically though Hood is a very unique and interesting ship even if she probably wasn't the best designed in all honesty
I haven't spent money on the game in a really long time, probably like a year and a half or so, but I don't mind throwing a little money WG's way when they actually start to loosen up a little and stop being so stingy with crates and other giveaways. If they'd fix the games many issues and implement some sort of skill-based matchmaking system instead of handicapping good players with rng, which is incredibly frustrating for good players and treaches bad or new players nothing, I'd spend a LOT more money on this game. I think more than anything WG has been underestimating us, the fans, since this game came out. It has the potential to be so much more.

Hood, like Musashi, is a ship I really want because I like ships that actully existed but probably wouldnt play all that often. Not saying Hood is bad, probably better than Musashi is at t8, but I think there are better options at t6.
Personally i mainly use the HMS Hood as a brawler i was able to get the the reload time down to 15 or less seconds but its guns have become decently inaccurate but my best ever game with the hood was in ranked at the first part of the match i lost my team and got down to 600 hp but i was able to make a great comback with my 5 repair partys and won aswell got my first solo warrior medal
Hood is a battleship. It was designed as a battlecruiser yes but was heavily redesigned during building from the lessons of Jutland. When she lanched she had the same guns and comparable armor to the QEs. The British called anything faster the 25 knots a battlecruiser. But in reality she was the worlds first fast battleship

Cuz nelson exists lol, nelson js way better of a pick then hood for casual play but hood is a more unique ship

Crates are incredebly generous this anniversary. I've got 2 new ships, so far, and I hope there is one more to go 🤞
