Thanks for sharing, Brock. That's the type of gadget that would be fun to use 1-2 times, and would then be a chore. For that price, holy cow. If I have to follow it around anyway, why not just push a mower for $300.
🤠 Live in north-central Idaho. Came here from Doss Farm. Thanks for helping them out. This is my first video here, and at age 70, I am expecting some useful info on mowing equipment.
Question on the remote controlled mower slope spec... Did the spec state "70º" or "70%" slope? A 100% slope (12" rise over 12" run, or a "12:12" pitch) is a 45º angle. A 70% slope is approximately a 35º angle. Slope to angle conversion: Angle = atan(slope %/100).
Good morning Brock. I could really use something like that. My sandmound is 72' long and 16' wide and appropriately 18' down the front side on about a 45 degree slope. Ive been using an old lawnmower with a rope tied to it to mow 3 sides of it for several years now. This would be really handy for that. I can't justify the price because I would definitely need the 4 wheel drive unit but maybe after a few years as with all technology the price will come down. Our first big screen t.v. was about $4,500. Now, a 60" is a few hundred dollars. Maybe someday. God bless and have a wonderful day. 👍👍🙂
I'm having a hard time believing it can climb 70 degrees with those small tires. Maybe you could get a few sod squares, put them on a 16' board, then start raising the angle to see what it can really handle.
Hi JC, thank you for pointing it out. from our previous test, the mower can handle around 40 degrees. But when the terrain is bit of wet, it may slip a little. So we put 37 degree( which is 75% grade) as our reference point for slope ability. Different countries/people have different understanding and it is easily misunderstood between % and degree. We will make it clearer to the audience.
It should only take a month to clear one acre's worth of grass. My large pond is nine acres and my small pond is three acres. This will bog down in wet areas and you'll need to don your rubber boots to retrieve a very heavy mower.
Howdy Brock! Pretty unique mower right there. And actually, was not as expensive as I anticipated. Definitely looks like it would work great for hard to get to or mow areas. Interested to see what your opinion of it is after you have used it for a while. Nicely done and thanks for sharing 🤠
People see a number and change the unit it measures, then repeat it and are actually claiming the impossible. 70° is impossible to drive on. However, a 45° angle is also known as 100%grade because it has as much rise for each unit traveled forward. A 70% grade is difficult, but possible. The most capable off road vehicles generally claim the ability to climb a 70% grade. Let's use the correct units please. Unless you're Spider-Man or have some really vicious suction cups, you aren't climbing a 70° wall.
$2000 push mower with remote. That looks very tedious. If it were autonomous, that's different. I just can't imagine hours of driving a remote control mower.
It will cut up to a 38 DEGREE SLOPE or a 75% GRADE…………. A 70 degree slope is a 378% grade…. I doubted the 70 degree claim and checked their site it says up to a 75% grade which is a 75% grade. 70 degrees is a cliff! 😂😂😂😂. Get a sickle bar mower with hydraulic lift to mow your hay and to mow your pond banks & other areas. To me for any real work this shown machine is not suitable…. It’s for urban use only. Interesting to view it and learn what out there thank you!! 🔥🔥👍👍
Hopefully your users will be fine, but I would think twice before showcasing a kickstarter project. They so often fail to deliver and viewers can blame you. Looks like a good device, I hope the tire is a standard size as I'd like to put something other than turf tires on something that light.
I gotta say, I thought it did far better than I thought it would. I am sorry if I missed it but if the machine were to get submerged, would it be ok? Some may not understand this questions but many modern Electric RC trucks/cars easily withstand saturation and are made to get wet. Again, the machine certainly has some applications for the right market. Interesting video!
That's a cool mower. I mow my pond with a sickle bar mower. That's the best thing I have found to keep the banks mowed
Looks like it should work. The pond looks great! Nice and full.
It looks like a great little mower. Thanks for sharing with us.
We bought one for our WV farm which is up hill both ways.
Hope it shows up soon, lots to mow.
I'll stick with my Centurion Super offset flail for my need, but super cool demo. Thanks Brock!
That’s a pretty awesome mower.
Hey Brock, that thing actually did decent. I wasn't expecting much but I think you picked a good one.

Chad of Doss farms sent me to your channel he only does that for The Best and I think it’s a very good idea to do. Stay Blessed 🚜

It's 37° / 75%

Thanks for th video. I too think battery operated appliances can help us with our daily chores but they are limited in heavy duty appliances.

It can climb 70%(about 37 degrees), not 70 degrees
@@zxw_player-eh2tw I'll have to rewatch the video later. I thought Brock said 70 degrees, but perhaps I misheard.
He did say degrees. Grade and degree are very different

Talk about an RC toy. I could sit on my back deck and mow the yard. Stillore fun to ride around on the mower.
Howdy
Would be fun with some FPV
Nice mower .
Wow, i can see myself, in a few years, following one of those around in my wheelchair... or mowing the bee yard?😂
Amazing, can I ask the price point vs what you have already, at £1500, other than the push mower and the weed whacker, how much are were the others ?
Hello, have it good power please ? At the beginning of the video with long grass - seems to in difficulties, right ?
Thks
do you have to drive it? or will it do its own mowing with out you controlling it.

How far can you be from the mower? I have a very steep section about 50-75 feet long.
Put up some fence and get a few calf's
Cool

Like with most new technology it is expensive but probably won't be in a few years then many people will have them
That's the cats meow
Is your mower a 2WD or 4WD
The one in this video is 4WD
Waterproof? 😂🎉
Mornings & greetings
Morning sir. Been AWOL this week. But I'm Back! For now... lol 🤠
What about goats? I was expecting 🐐 🐐 🐐! 😄
Looks like a good way to get kids to go play, I mean mow the yard lol.
Water proof 💦🌊 🐠🐟?

It’s more of a curiosity than a sales pitch.

Get some goats 🐐. They will eat your problems away
If x mark or bad boy would send me a free mower to make videos i would accept it.
