Super thanks for the idea. I am super excited to recreate this concept. already ordered a Danchee. Just need to figure out the trailer part. Hope you have a link on how you did the trailer and the motor that cut the grass.
No problem, would like to see your creation afterwards! For the trailer part i have another video about how to make the axles and stuff. The trailer is no more then a flat sheet of aluminium. The cutting part i 3D printed a mount with small robot mower knives on it. Hope that this information is sufficient for you, if not contact me via facebook! Greetings FCRC
@@FCRC Yes, i saw the video, amazing.... Mine is not as good looking as yours but should do the same.... i hope... haha.... 3d printing parts currently... yes i will let you know the progress. thanks again.
@@FCRC as promised. here is my progress, still work on progress. I did not like the quality of the cut of the 3d printed blades... i might go with the real box cutter blades to see if thats better. I am just worried about it flying as shrapnel if they hit some rocks. th-cam.com/video/AutXMK1C4ks/w-d-xo.html
I've been talking about this for YEARS! imagine having a buddy business doing yard work with RCs and literally getting PAID to have fun. It gives wives LESS reason to complain because they are paying for themselves, AND giving guys a reason to go do yard work. :D
Hello Michael, yes this is a win win situation indeed.. You can work for ours now in the garden. It's pretty fun to do! And a less complaining wife is also a lifesaver :p.. I would say go make your own, and make it work :D
Awesome job! I especially like your trailer’s suspension set up. Just a thought; If you were to cut an opening in the cutting area it would give the grass clippings somewhere to discharge. This could give you less strain on the trimmer motor and also would make the trailer not have to be dragged over clumps of grass. What voltage are you using? What kind of run time do you get with this set up?
Hi sir, Thanks, in this video i had a mowing thread spindle.. but that had to much resistance.. As improvement i have 3D printed a 4 arm holder with titanium mowing blades. This works a lot better, and chops the gras very good. This setup works with 18 volts, but there is room for improvements. I try to do it cost effective this time. But if i had to do it again i would take a Rc Esc with powerfull brusless motor (hobbywing) on a remote with cruiscontrol or so.. that way you have far more control over te power, and also an on and off switch for safety.. but that would be far more expensive than this. These parts i had laying around. Thanks for watching and your kind comment.
Thanks! I do have a build video of the suspensions setup. But the build of the mower itself i don't have. It is pretty simple actualy. I can make small video for you, just thell me what you want to know/see.
I designed and made it myself. Not give it a name yet :p You can check this video: th-cam.com/video/r-rlKPogzZE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=HRvF3zXbulmPIFw2 In the end you can see more detail about this setup, and how to make it. You don't need a coil spring, and can take far more load then normal setups. Greetings FCRC
It's the first time I've seen a trailer like this 😲 it's good👍👌😁
Thank you, it was a fun project to built!
