From one gay man to another, thank you. I was literally called transphobic for saying I’m a gay man only into other gay men. Don’t even get me started on the homophobic (yes, homophobic) activists that call it a “parts preference.” I know people love to throw “phobic” around, but becoming so deluded that you’ve actually stepped BACKWARDS into calling sexual orientation a preference IS homophobic.

I'm confused can you clarify why you would be called trans phobic for being into gay men, unless you don't consider trans gay men as men, which than you would be transphobic? You don't have to be attracted to trans men that doesn't make trans phobic in my eyes, but why is not liking guys with pussys not a partspreference? I might have just misunderstood your comment.

Here’s the thing. It’s not something that’s going to happen in person, it’s only seen online. To use neopronouns in real life in everyday conversation, especially for a single person is incredibly difficult. English just doesn’t work that way. There have been people like myself who ask “how will this work in real life, if people have these made up pronouns? Is it really as simple as swapping out a word here and there? I don’t think it is.”
They write up a whole ass essay about it…and make mistakes on neopronouns. Like at least proof read before proving my point lol.
Let them make videos of themselves trying really really hard to cry and post it on TikTok. It’s all they can do. Because it’s not real, their feelings aren’t actually hurt. Their identity is not shattered. No one is going to take it seriously in the real world.

He didn't hide it, nor did he announce it. Sadly, I lost him in 1986 to AIDS. I have several family members who are gay or trans. But they in no way act this way. I find myself more and more turning away from the gay community. He once told me he went to the Gay Pride parade in San Francisco, and at that moment, he understood why heterosexual people thought that gay men were pedophiles and sexual deviance. He said he couldn't believe what he saw. That was in the early 80s. God only knows how bad it's gotten since then.

I'm paraphrasing here, because I don't remember the precise quote, but it goes something like this: When you hitch your identity to something, it has a way of coming back around and hitching itself to you. Another way of putting it is that these people are fetishizing themselves. I hate this term, "identify as." That's for you and you alone. Leave me out of it. I do not identify as anything, because that's not a road I want to go down with myself. I am a man. I do not identify as a man. It is what I am. Narrowly, that means my physical XY attributes and my body chemistry align. (If they didn't, I'd be trans.) It doesn't mean I like sports. It doesn't mean that I dislike pink. It does not define my identity. I do not "identify as" gay. I am gay. It does not mean that I like musicals. It does not mean that I'm into fashion. It is not my identity. All it means is that I like dudes. That's it. They're just two factors of the many that make me who I am.
I've had people absolutely insist that I must be non-binary because I have a doll collection. No matter how much I say that I am not non-binary, they won't hear of it. Doll collecting and gender have nothing to do with each other! It is insane to me that some of these people will say, with a straight face, that gender is a social construct and then turn right around and conflate dolls with gender. It's absolutely idiotic.
My generation, GenX, was all about "Don't label us!" This generation appears to be, "Give us ALL the labels!" (And yes, I'm aware of the irony that I just labeled myself GenX.) I feel like we're regressing as a culture. Suddenly, anything that doesn't fit a 1950s stereotype of what a man or woman should be must be non-binary. This is not progress.

As someone who is genderqueer, I don’t bother correcting anyone on my pronouns unless it’s someone I personally know. Family and friends. I don’t care about anyone else, a random person doesn’t know and doesn’t need to remember, so why even bother? Yes, I do feel a little upset sometimes when I’m misgendered, but I keep it to myself, because I know I’m outside of my bubble. And then I keep going, because I don’t base how I see myself around how random people see me. I present feminine and use he/him pronouns, when I’m out and about I will be referred as she/her and that’s ok. The people that matter in my life respect my identity and that’s enough for me.

I'm a bisexual woman, proudly uber femenine. I have to ask, where is your dysphoria coming from? Why is it that you feel comfortable enough to present femenine in your appearance but have masculine pronouns? It doesn't make much sense that you would have any gender dysphoria if you're comfortable having opposite gender markers. A genuine trans woman would feel dysphoria and panic at being referred to as "he/ him,". A trans man wouldn't have their dysphoria alleviated by presenting femenine in any way or speaking in a female voice, having any kind of obvious femenine traits. I don't understand how male pronouns alone would alleviate any dysphoria, or discomfort of your gender, when you're doing the opposite to present in non masc ways? Or are you going to take testosterone and commit to looking masculine, but presenting femenine with your clothes??
Why is being a woman not enough, if you already default to looking and presenting like one? And apparently being called a woman doesn't bother you either, so again...... where does the dysphoria come from?

I knew a person called Sonia who told me once that I had to use "Pikky/Pikkes" 0.o
Well.. "Sonia, this", "Sonia that" "Sonia's car" "Sonia's clothes". It was really really really funny how Sonia was expected me getting wrong with those pronouns. I didn't need to use them even once.

Hi, I'm glad to discover your channel 😘 The thing for me is: do those persons realise that as tolerant and caring we all may be, it's just humanly impossible to retain everyone's pronuns ? People are so up to be upset or crying when we just meet and can't have no single idea on if it's a normal person or some pronuns thing, but we can't spend our time asking everyone because no matter what, we don't live close together and we are just passing by them in our day so we can't retain all this fantasy of theirs. To me it's sad that they don't understand this statement and act like every single one of them can be the world's main character at the same time.
