It does when you think about it as a power/control demand from a narcissists. They don't care about reality only your compliance with whatever they deem is real
If you watch that whole video she tries to BS that point away. But it doesn't work. A lot of these people will make up words and things when you actually asked them a question that requires a logical response based in reality.
AJ I subscribed because you are honest and I respect a person that just tells it how it is. And I have to say where did you get those amazing eyes because I'm really jelly😘
From one gay man to another, thank you. I was literally called transphobic for saying I’m a gay man only into other gay men. Don’t even get me started on the homophobic (yes, homophobic) activists that call it a “parts preference.” I know people love to throw “phobic” around, but becoming so deluded that you’ve actually stepped BACKWARDS into calling sexual orientation a preference IS homophobic.
I'm confused can you clarify why you would be called trans phobic for being into gay men, unless you don't consider trans gay men as men, which than you would be transphobic? You don't have to be attracted to trans men that doesn't make trans phobic in my eyes, but why is not liking guys with pussys not a partspreference? I might have just misunderstood your comment.
As a 50 year old gay man, I am so angry that these excuses for human beings even have the nerve to be part of what we’ve fought so hard for over the years.
@@realalien_fromspace it's not hate to point out the truth and the truth is finally happening, there's only two sex's male and female and heterosexual and homosexual everything else is meaningless and causing harm.
@@realalien_fromspace But they do effect me and others like me, that now find ourselves having to justify our sexuality and lifestyle again to those that are so confused by these people that aren’t helping gay people.
As an ally I can't justify supporting all of the LGBTQ+ people anymore. I can't support entitled "children" that indentify something that aren't even related to gender. I can support he/him/her/she/they/them. But not all this neopronoun stuff. Nah. They make it harder for everyone else that is outside "the norm" to be accepted
i'm a trans boy and i know i look feminine because i like long hair, makeup and long skirts but i don't even get mad when someone calls me a lady because i just know how i look and i'm not that mentally unstable like those attention seeking kids 💀💀
Same here, i cut my hair since i got tired of being misgender and im fully aware that if im the one felling upset, i need to change something if i cant grow emotionaly enough to stop carying about people calling me a she, and they wont stop, its normal for our society to see long hair as girly
I spend 24/7 referring myself in male pronouns, even in verbs and adjectives since my mother language also has gendered words for those. Most people won't get it and still refer to me as a lady, which, okay, makes sense. I got this metalhead/goth look going on. But I would NEVER lash out at someone on the street unless I knew they were doing it purposely to mock me
I’m gen z but I’m actually so happy to see someone else talk about this like the amount of times I’ve said that neopronouns aren’t valid and have been absolutely eaten alive on the internet is insane like sorry for not being delusional??
Completely agree 🤝 I think this shii with neopronouns was made by more younger Gen z, like 13-15 yo, because I really didn't see people over 20, who support this delulu stuff
The thing is most of us are based, but we're censored on the internet to keep our voices down. And it's not just some pink hair moderator banning accounts 👁️
Here’s the thing. It’s not something that’s going to happen in person, it’s only seen online. To use neopronouns in real life in everyday conversation, especially for a single person is incredibly difficult. English just doesn’t work that way. There have been people like myself who ask “how will this work in real life, if people have these made up pronouns? Is it really as simple as swapping out a word here and there? I don’t think it is.” They write up a whole ass essay about it…and make mistakes on neopronouns. Like at least proof read before proving my point lol. Let them make videos of themselves trying really really hard to cry and post it on TikTok. It’s all they can do. Because it’s not real, their feelings aren’t actually hurt. Their identity is not shattered. No one is going to take it seriously in the real world.

Yarr i hate seeing more internet addicted teenagers with no friends get pulled into this, because that used to be me. Autistic trans Men here!! Ive seen many people saying neopronouns were made for austistic people, for them to "express themselves" honey, i cant talk abou the whole community but for me and for my whole non eng speaking-country, these neon pronouns dont make any sense and are so confuse at all, i call them an American thing cus i doubt Theres anyone using outside USA or any eng country, on my languague it would never work, and it barely sounds right on english, and about autistic kids, most of the time people who use neo pronouns Arent even autistic, and honestly, If they were, do they expect people to call them that? People with legitimate gender dysphoria, aka body dysmorphia, are suffering because of these self-centered fet1shizers. I can't get psychiatric help for it now because it got demonized and taken away, and the only option left to me are hormones and surgery... which are dangerous. I don't want to cut off my parts... I just want my brain to accept my real biology... so now I have no help at all. We dont unalive for being misgendered, we unalive for being turned into a societal fet1sh for virtue signalling on.

We are still here and fearless! Don’t think just cause you see a certain kind of gay on the media that all the different ones have just vanished out of existence or have been forced into conformity. At the end of the day, we were born or raised here in the US and we loveeeeee freedom of speech 🤐😂
where did the honest gays go -- we're still here. But like most people, we are just being quiet for now hoping things would settle down and no need for major confrontation. However, as those trans are getting very annoying we have already started to push back against their crazy nonsense.

Pansexual trans girl here i feel the same. Think they're doing this for attention and not really apart of our community. And then attaching themselves to us so they can clame homophobia or transphobia and make the rest of us look bad.
I don't understand what has happened to this generation. My brother was gay and he never came out. He was just who he was. He had a boyfriend, and he just said this is my friend, so and so. He didn't hide it, nor did he announce it. Sadly, I lost him in 1986 to AIDS. I have several family members who are gay or trans. But they in no way act this way. I find myself more and more turning away from the gay community. He once told me he went to the Gay Pride parade in San Francisco, and at that moment, he understood why heterosexual people thought that gay men were pedophiles and sexual deviance. He said he couldn't believe what he saw. That was in the early 80s. God only knows how bad it's gotten since then.
I'm paraphrasing here, because I don't remember the precise quote, but it goes something like this: When you hitch your identity to something, it has a way of coming back around and hitching itself to you. Another way of putting it is that these people are fetishizing themselves. I hate this term, "identify as." That's for you and you alone. Leave me out of it. I do not identify as anything, because that's not a road I want to go down with myself. I am a man. I do not identify as a man. It is what I am. Narrowly, that means my physical XY attributes and my body chemistry align. (If they didn't, I'd be trans.) It doesn't mean I like sports. It doesn't mean that I dislike pink. It does not define my identity. I do not "identify as" gay. I am gay. It does not mean that I like musicals. It does not mean that I'm into fashion. It is not my identity. All it means is that I like dudes. That's it. They're just two factors of the many that make me who I am. I've had people absolutely insist that I must be non-binary because I have a doll collection. No matter how much I say that I am not non-binary, they won't hear of it. Doll collecting and gender have nothing to do with each other! It is insane to me that some of these people will say, with a straight face, that gender is a social construct and then turn right around and conflate dolls with gender. It's absolutely idiotic. My generation, GenX, was all about "Don't label us!" This generation appears to be, "Give us ALL the labels!" (And yes, I'm aware of the irony that I just labeled myself GenX.) I feel like we're regressing as a culture. Suddenly, anything that doesn't fit a 1950s stereotype of what a man or woman should be must be non-binary. This is not progress.
Being a fellow Gen X, I totally agree with you, though nowhere near as eloquently I usually go with "babe that's just your personality not your identity" 😂
I understand where she's coming from, but that's not exactly true. We have used adjectives as pronouns for many years. For example a partner might say, "Hey good looking (gorgeous, beautiful etc..), how are you today?"
As someone who is genderqueer, I don’t bother correcting anyone on my pronouns unless it’s someone I personally know. Family and friends. I don’t care about anyone else, a random person doesn’t know and doesn’t need to remember, so why even bother? Yes, I do feel a little upset sometimes when I’m misgendered, but I keep it to myself, because I know I’m outside of my bubble. And then I keep going, because I don’t base how I see myself around how random people see me. I present feminine and use he/him pronouns, when I’m out and about I will be referred as she/her and that’s ok. The people that matter in my life respect my identity and that’s enough for me.
I'm a bisexual woman, proudly uber femenine. I have to ask, where is your dysphoria coming from? Why is it that you feel comfortable enough to present femenine in your appearance but have masculine pronouns? It doesn't make much sense that you would have any gender dysphoria if you're comfortable having opposite gender markers. A genuine trans woman would feel dysphoria and panic at being referred to as "he/ him,". A trans man wouldn't have their dysphoria alleviated by presenting femenine in any way or speaking in a female voice, having any kind of obvious femenine traits. I don't understand how male pronouns alone would alleviate any dysphoria, or discomfort of your gender, when you're doing the opposite to present in non masc ways? Or are you going to take testosterone and commit to looking masculine, but presenting femenine with your clothes?? Why is being a woman not enough, if you already default to looking and presenting like one? And apparently being called a woman doesn't bother you either, so again...... where does the dysphoria come from?
This! I personally prefer they/them, but logically I understand that people will see me as either she/her or he/him and that's alright, it's not like everyone needs to know. And also, I don't like neopronous stuff, like- why? They/them is still human, like a person, but the animals and inanimate objects... It just feels like a joke
I don't see myself as any gender, I never did, going on the internet just confirmed others feel the same way. people referring to me as a female or telling me I'm wrong will never take that away from me so I choose to not care what people call me.

I've distanced myself from the alphabet soup long ago. I have trans mutuals. They don't delude themselves. They even hate the community for what its become. One is a conservative. I just don't care if someone calls me a sir or a ma'am. It's tiring to correct people. I'm just me. I am 33 and have bigger shit to worry about than pronouns.
I have never met a trans person who goes into violent tantrums over being misgendered. Noticeably miffed, but still able to maintain composure and politeness As for your edit... Being called both a handsome young man and a beautiful young lady by random old people is the best compliment. It means I'd look good either way. I don't know how people can get mad at that.
As a transsexual woman, (born male,) this whole "gender is a social construct" think pi**es me off. If it was a social construct, I wouldn't have had to transition, I could just be NB and be happy. Sex is real, Gender is real, and these people are actually completely distorting the issues of actual trans people with GD. We need to change to be whole, we don't need to bully others to feel gender congruent. The answers are inside of us.
Honestly I am a straight female born and raised in the south. Sir and ma'am are taught to most anyone here as having good manners and respect. It isn't meant to be a dig. Granted, I refer to individuals I know on a personal level that are gay males as ladies, she's and queens. But if I'm in a public or professional situation, I use yes ma'am/sir, no ma'am/sir, thank you, please, excuse me... and I am teaching my 11 year old son the same values. He also still understands the concept, and is being taught love and acceptance of my brother and his husband. It's not spoken about as taboo, it is just what it is. They love one another and got married. Why can't we just keep things simple. Right??
As a lbgtq person I find neopronouns so strange to me. I'm not kidding I met people who used crazy neopronouns and when you don't use their pronouns they get so annoyed. Like I'm fine with it just being she he and they not this stuff.
Honestly, i feel like neopronouns are what led to people viewing the lgbt community as a fucking joke. It's already hard enough for people to accept gay and bi people, let alone trans folk. Nonbinary and genderfluid are a whole separate issue too. And when they throw in these made up words "xe, xer, xem, eh, ehrs, etc.," it makes us look like we're in a giant circus and shouldnt be taken seriously.

I completely agree with you. People need to be more logical. Transgenderism is valid since its a medical issue. Nonbinary is valid since gender is largely social. Gay and bi are obviously valid, just look at the rest of the animal kingdom. But there is literally no reason for neopronouns and makes us look like a joke

Same. He/Him, She/Her or They/Them is fine with me. And I'll try to use them correctly for each person I meet. No one likes being misgendered, whether they're trans or not. But we'd still be, polite about it? If you wanna have a fun little quirky pronoun for like, aesthetic reasons, artistic reasons, like it's OPTIONAL, then that's harmless. But if it's forced, go away.
Because it DOES make "traditional" trans people a joke. I'm a bisexual woman, but my ftm and mtf friends didn't end themselves because "Gender is a construct🤪". And neither did the generations of other trans people throughout time who fought for their happiness. They all wanted to be part of the gender binary as per their VERY REAL PAIN with dysphoria! They all wanted to uphold the gender binary that we are all naturally born into. Their pronouns didn't change with every outfit, and the pain from dysphoria didn't go away with nonsense pronouns, hair dye and makeup. The goal was to fully pass to spare themselves of violence, harassment, and feel confident in their skin; not to be so special they stand out for oppression points. 🙄 These people are a joke, and make all of the LGBT community a joke too.😮💨

There's a way to avoid using any pronoun they try to impose you: use the name of the person. That's it. Always refer to those people by their names. I knew a person called Sonia who told me once that I had to use "Pikky/Pikkes" 0.o Well.. "Sonia, this", "Sonia that" "Sonia's car" "Sonia's clothes". It was really really really funny how Sonia was expected me getting wrong with those pronouns. I didn't need to use them even once.
The worst thing here is... They are fully incapable of just seeing how people around them react, and understand what they are really doing. They don't care that they ruin a movement for the sake of their own personal gratification... They are too individualistic and "special" to notice there are people around them.
Amazing and thank you for keeping this insanity in perspective. We can't expect to force values on someone else. Heaven forbid you use a wrong pronoun, accidentally say Merry Christmas, or glance at someone because they're in your line of sight and now feel triggered . WTH is happening to our society?
It's the action they take if you do not comply with their value sets. If you don't accept the lunatic ideology you get targeted, demonized and made to take the blame for someone else's reaction. There was active Force on the video especially with that one screaming for being misgendered. Force comes in all forms, passive and active. This, and other videos of this ideology show the more aggressive active forms, and you saw the passive form with the crying and whining.
I'm a Bi woman... but because I dress like a dude with jeans, lumberjack shirts, cowboy boots and have a crew cut with a eyebrow piercing, people will call me a guy and I just laugh it off. However, heaven forbid I call a woman who looks and acts like a woman, a woman....... but she "obviously" identifies as a bun/buns.. 🤣🤣🤣 I almost want to cry lol...
Thank u! My brother's partner's pronouns are so confusing! My partner was really upset when we went to see my brother for Christmas. My mom couldn't keep up either. I got upset & confused at the end of dinner as well. We all tried way too hard.
As a trans man, I see neopronouns as huge setback in the movement. I hate to be a dick but this all seems far too attention seeking for me and it makes it harder for anyone to take me seriously or what I'm doing. It makes the entire "attack helicopter joke" actually have some form of merit....
Im a Trans men and due to me starting my transition pretty later because not wanting to discomfort someone, I literally dont care If someone I dont care about misgenders me. Of course, dysphoria hits pretty bad sometimes but I will NEVER scream at someone because of it. I’ll tell them occasionally but if they are sum strangers or smth Idfc. I can’t count how many times I got assaulted, because they had the opinion that I was one of these kids. Horrible.
Thank you for standing up against this nonsense! It’s so important to speak out. This community is just pushing lgbt people away. Because this is the nonsense we associated with by other people.
@@cs45933 u do realise the "T" is also a big part of the reason why the LGBT community has some rights today? grouping up the insane cosplayers along with the actually sane transpeople helps no one, and causes more harm instead
These people are so senstive. I'm a woman, and when I was a young teen I had my hair cut real short and some people thought I was a boy. Did i CRY?? Did I have a mental breakdown? NO! I LAUGHED. My boyfriend has really long hair and has been ALSO „misgendered„. It happened many times and we have always just shrugged it off. God. There are much more serious problems in this world.
The fact they have to literally teach people a whole new mini-language just to *address or speak of them* should be the first sign they're off the deep-end. But here we are, conjugating ze buns. Also, isn't "wife" a very gendered term? How is one both a "they" and a "wife"?
As for the "wife" thing, it is entirely dependent on the *individual*. Some people may be happy to be talked about as someone's "wife" while identifying as non-binary or other non-female genders, some may prefer "spouse" or other gender neutral terms
Thank you for not using pronouns they have asked you not to, then. If people could simply do this when they had a problem it strikes me things may be easier.
I'm both autistic and trans, so if anyone should speak up about this, it'd be me. I'm happy to call you a he, a she, or a they, but nowhere farther than that. It's just nonsensical and illogical. They're NOUNS, not PROnouns. Plus, when people say that autistic people can't grasp the concept of gender, it pisses me off. Of course I know what gender is, what am I? An alien? I'm just sick of being infantilized by these people, especially the autism fakers who use neopronouns. I'm not a child. Nor am I an alien. I am a human being. That's it. Anyways, rant over. Thank you for making sense common again, AJ.
Hi Lesbian here and I agree with you! I have distance myself from the community because of people like them. I had one experience where a person got super aggressive with me for calling them the wrong pronoun. I apologized but they continued on. Like look you can call yourself whatever crazy pronoun you want, we are not MIND READERS. If you’re so sensitive that you can deal with this in a public setting then don’t go out. Go somewhere else that won’t call you something you can’t handle. I am so sick and tired of being around those people. Get over it and move on, not me everyone will be ok with it and it’s something you have to deal with.
I had to watch AJ's video twice. The first time I was half listening because your eye make up and eyebrows are out of this world. I love it! ♥ And the second time I paid attention to your words and yes, I 100% agree with you AJ.
as a gay man ive been called mam over the phone and I stg I am self aware enough to realize that my voice was higher I dont take offense to it and get what I need to get done.
It is not everyone elses job to affirm your gender. It is your responsibility to do so. Im not LGBT but im autistic and i know that it is my sole responsibility to make sure i keep everyone around me comfortable with me. Its not a strangers job to make sure you are feeling okay in yourself. It is your job to make sure you fit in to society in a respectful way and not have temper tantrums about things that only affect you. I dont go around telling everyone in the shop to be quiet because i have sensory issues. So these people shoudlnt go around forcing people to call them fucking bun/bunself and shit like that.
I think it's more sort of, you would want people to allow you to wear noise cancelling headphones (not sure if this applies to you in particular). These people are asking for a simple change that is not hard to make and doesn't greatly affect them, like being forced into silence would
@@ThyLocalBard I guess what I have against neopronouns is that I just don't like the concept, if they're gonna be used the same as nicknames (except exclude pronouns and hooray). I don't really mind calling people something they want me to call them, but neopronouns as a concept felt a bit unnecessary. Maybe make it neonames, but what do I know anyway? That's honestly my personal opinion, sorry if it's a bit too negative though, I'm not actually against the use of neopronouns, but I definitely prefer pronouns over them because they're easier to remember. My short term memory's that garbage lol. Also I don't really get why some people post videos of their neopronouns?? it's way easier to just write it your bio, ykwim? I'm gonna be honest though, some comments here kind of feel transphobic. I don't really wanna be associated with them just because I have my own opinion on neopronouns. The whole idea of identity used to carry weight. It described one's skills, predilections, character traits, what books you read, your world view, etc. Now it's just a descriptor for what you like to do with your genitals. Thanks modernity.

It's refreshing to hear so much sense coming from a gay guy! I am a 64yr old straight WOMAN, all this pronoun bullshit is making so many people's lives a misery. Why can't we just go back to straight or gay? One or the other? Easy! 🙄

I’m a straight woman who was called transphobic for not using neopronouns. It kind of hurt. Thank you for this. No matter how hard I tried to explain that I respected her as a human being despite the fact that I wouldn’t use neo pronouns, she wasn’t having any of it. My best friend is trans and he’s gotten so much hate and fit into a stereotype of having incomprehensible lists of pronouns as an insult constantly when he just uses he/him. It’s actually insane it really discredits trans people
6:12 honestly she reminds me of myself back when I was 13-14 when I used to get offended when my little brother called me a women/girl (to which I am) but I had a phase where I associated women with weakness (not true)and I basically thought that I fitted in with guys more so I tried to act like one but that faded quickly AFTER I found myself and was not lost anymore. In conclusion, I think these people are lost as well.
i was arguing about neo/xeno genders/pronouns with this person and i had stated i was bisexual, then she said "Boy you're not bi, you're acting like a cis/het"
I'm non binary and i got into an argument because when someone asked what my pronouns are i told them i was nonbinary and i go by they/them because they/them is very gender neutral and used regardless of gender for everyone like "them over there" "they like apples" etc... This person just straight up says to my face "That's not non binary." I was like "what? The fuck you mean?" They doubled down "it's not non binary. People use that for cis people." I said "The fuck you want me to use then? Shi/zam? Bebop/rock steady/? Rock/kevinhart?" then i explained why non-binary people use they/them pronouns they finally understood. I could give less of a fuck if someone called me the wrong pronoun. IT'S JUST A PRONOUN.
Adding anything after B was a mistake that we will be paying for four years to come. How much is guilt by association going to hurt the entire gay community? It already is at this point.
As a they/them non-binary I can agree that this is too far, me and them are definitely NOT the same. edit: I'm also fem presenting and being called lady is the least of my worries
This is a phenomenon as old as time, bad apples make a bad name for the good ones. What were once movements meant for tolerance and acceptance, turned into a nightmare
Holy cannoli… I’m new here and you’re insanely attractive. Your eyes are magical 🤩 (EDIT: you’re saying everything I’ve been thinking, and when appropriate, saying! PLEASE keep doing what you’re doing)
As someone who is transgender these neo pronouns are ridiculous and embarrassing and just needs to stop like keep it LGBT plus or Just LGBT cause i cant 😂
5:40 This lady sounds like someone took her teddy bear away and now she’s throwing a tantrum. I just think a huge part of this is that people refuse to grow up. Which-fair, be a child at heart, but come on. Not everyone is going to call you what YOU want. It is what it is.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your video was a breath of fresh air. Such common sense was very much appreciated. I'm exhausted by those who after an innocent pronoun trespass must leave the party, go across the street and weep in their lover's arms for half an hour. Yikes.
Hi, I'm glad to discover your channel 😘 The thing for me is: do those persons realise that as tolerant and caring we all may be, it's just humanly impossible to retain everyone's pronuns ? People are so up to be upset or crying when we just meet and can't have no single idea on if it's a normal person or some pronuns thing, but we can't spend our time asking everyone because no matter what, we don't live close together and we are just passing by them in our day so we can't retain all this fantasy of theirs. To me it's sad that they don't understand this statement and act like every single one of them can be the world's main character at the same time.
So she has a problem with being called a lady, but she still calls her wife her wife? None of that made any sense.
It does when you think about it as a power/control demand from a narcissists. They don't care about reality only your compliance with whatever they deem is real
Yeah I saw that, my wife something something "themself" like 💀
If you watch that whole video she tries to BS that point away. But it doesn't work. A lot of these people will make up words and things when you actually asked them a question that requires a logical response based in reality.
AJ I subscribed because you are honest and I respect a person that just tells it how it is. And I have to say where did you get those amazing eyes because I'm really jelly😘
And films her 'trauma'! FFS, how will they cope with a real problem?
From one gay man to another, thank you. I was literally called transphobic for saying I’m a gay man only into other gay men. Don’t even get me started on the homophobic (yes, homophobic) activists that call it a “parts preference.” I know people love to throw “phobic” around, but becoming so deluded that you’ve actually stepped BACKWARDS into calling sexual orientation a preference IS homophobic.
Such a gd mood. I've had similar issues on dating platforms and I'm just very much over the overuse of all the buzzwords.
Parts preference? These people are so out of touch!

To use neopronouns in real life in everyday conversation, especially for a single person is incredibly difficult. English just doesn’t work that way. There have been people like myself who ask “how will this work in real life, if people have these made up pronouns? Is it really as simple as swapping out a word here and there? I don’t think it is.”
They write up a whole ass essay about it…and make mistakes on neopronouns. Like at least proof read before proving my point lol.

💯💯 realist comment on here, maybe cuz I'm Gen-X too, but yes no lies detected!!

It was originally made as a joke those were made to make fun of trans people it’s disgusting

1. transition or at least try to look more the gender you transition to
2. manage your life and your dysphoria, you've got to understand, your trigger is no body business, you cant expecting everyone to cater to you, that's on YOU to manage, for example, if you have anxiety, it's not on other people to manage, it's on you to manage, to heal, to go to therapist, psyciatrist not anybody, it's like saying if i have an anxiety attack on a party, the party should stop because i have anxiety attack, like, no. you're the one who need to step out the party, calm your self, learn the coping skills, finds help, not stopping the whole party, no ?
another example if you have trauma, you've been abused in someway, it's no body business that something triggers you, it;s still on you, life's tough
3. dont be a snowflakes, alot of weird ass trans will "breakdown" if they called another pronoun, its far too complicated to cater to everyone needs, you need to ask everyone for their pronoun ? yeah, no, it's a milisecond thing to say what other people pronouns are, It's how human wired, you look woman, you are her, you look like a man, then you are him. there's a reason why the trans people transition no ? to look like another gender ?
@@ThyLocalBardThats what I'm saying. People who are pre medically-transitioned won't look as their gender.
There's a way to avoid using any pronoun they try to impose you: use the name of the person. That's it. Always refer to those people by their names.
I knew a person called Sonia who told me once that I had to use "Pikky/Pikkes" 0.o
Well..
I didn't see any forcing in this video?
