    Just love your energy towards your hair😃 it what I call positivity, cos growing a healthy long hair like this require a lot of positivity and that's the only way you can spend hours twisting your hair and still feel this happy and joyful even when you're tired. Well done👍.

    Can we get more details on how you maintain your scalp with aloe like do you also add the oil after you cleanse with the aloe? Etc

    First of all I love your hair. I usually use extensions but I want to start wearing my natural hair in twists. My hair is currently around waist length and slowly inching towards tailbone length. I have very thick 4c hair. Next, I love love your personality.You are very entertaining to watch. Music gets me in the mood to do my hair.It really helps plus I love to have some wine to sip on.

    Hey lovely…beautiful hair! I’m on the same hair twisting journey and YES that flax seed gel is the one! I’m seeing so much length retention because of it. I’ve tried re- moisturising my hair with aloe Vera juice etc but my hair is just THIRSTY and only washing it or water rinsing it whenever it’s starting to get frizzy does the trick.
    How many twists have you got? ✨

      Hey! I’m happy to hear that you are receiving great benefits from your twisting journey and found out what works for your hair! I typically have around 72-75 twists. Thank you so much for watching!❤️

    @torionastewart Absolutely gorgeous hair/twists. Did I hear you correctly? You shampoo your hair once every three months? I typically shampoo every eight weeks which works great for me and my hair. I'm happy to find someone with my "hair goals" (YOU) who doesn't make me feel like I'm neglecting my scalp by not shampooing weekly. If I shampoo weekly it dries my hair out.

    Have you tried to
    make bigger twist to save time . I just did my twist , but mines are jumbo twist, I have about 10 twist each side and it took no time .. I started each one by braiding about and inch and then transition them to twist all the way to the bottom ..

    • @torionastewart
      @torionastewart  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Hey! With smaller twists, I am able to keep my hair twisted for long periods of time with less frizz and way less tangling & single strand knots. I also prefer the look of smaller twists on me more than larger twists. Thank you for watching!❤️

    Do not follow this hair routine if you have low porosity hair! Your hair will dry out and feel like straw. 😢
    Aloe vera juice acts like protein for low porosity hair so your hair will become very stiff if u spray it like she does. Castor oil is also way too heavy for low porosity hair.
    I tried this routine on my low porosity hair and it was a disaster!😩

    • @torionastewart
      @torionastewart  ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Do you get single strand knots? Do you ✂️ them out every time you find one? How do you cope with them 🤔?

    • @torionastewart
      @torionastewart  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hey! Sometimes, but not very often. When I do get them, I try to take my time to untangle it with more oil. If I can’t untangle it, I just simply break the knot from the rest of my strands. (Not the best idea- I know- but I rarely get them so I don’t think it harms my hair much). Thank you for watching!❤️

    • @solarlola5953

      @@torionastewart I suspected you were high porosity. As a low porosity head I can’t use too much heavy sealants like castor oil or shea butter and need to be careful with flaxseed , makes my hair brittle fast. I have to use lighter oils sparingly with a leave in , liquid conditioner or aloe juice . I remember indigenous strandz said she was also high porosity as well. I admire how your hair thrives with these simple products
