I really love your voice. Ilocano Public is one of my faves. I just realized that I don't even know the origins of Pinakbet. I didn't even know that it no longer needs to be stir fried. Cooking outdoors that is just amazing. I can imagine being a passer by and I smell the pinakbet in the air. Haha. You would be luring me to your place. Beautiful pond and view. I can even hear a goat bleating. The country life. Simple. The sizzle of the pork belly being caramelised is truly enticing to my ears. Haha. Pagasinan bagoong is the best!

Hi, Manong! I grew up in Hawaii. Both parents are Ilocano. My mamang is from Pangasinan and my papang is from Ilocos Norte. I love this dish and also dinengdeng. My two favorite dishes ever. i finally found a vedio of a true pinakbet engredients of a pinakbet. that is the pinakbet that i grow up with . i always have argument with some ilokano from other region because they insist that packet with string beans, okra, and kalabasa. to me i called that a denengdeng or inabraw. right on bro agbiag ti ilokano dayta ah
