Thanks man, didn’t know why I was always replacing my shower valve washers, the valve seat was chewing them up. Heading to Home Depot now. You the best.
Rayanne Kruse Small flat head screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, crescent wrench, valve cap removal tool, valve stem socket, plumbers putty, and please put a rag over the drain in case you drop a screw so it doesn’t go down LOL many thanks for this!
Informative video, which I appreciate, but please assist the person taking the video to improve. It made watching your video difficult and unpleasant. Thanks!
I'm sorry to hear that. I figured they just needed some tips and more practice. You can't do what you don't know. Anyway, I'm working on replacing the washer in the faucet (in my shower), but I thought when I removed that big nut, the stem would come out with it, but no...I need that long plumbing socket, and it is behind the opening. I also think the seat is bad, as the washer goes bad far too often, like every few months. But now I have written down the tools and other things I need to get this done correctly. Thank you for your help! : )
