Thank you for this very sensitive and perceptive video. I love the Bronte sisters, the soul and uninhibited passion they express in their great tales. I especially love Jane Eyre! 🌹❤️
I enjoyed the video, but only after reading the comment section I understood that I shouldn't have heard what the man was saying and supposedly the music is too loud...
It would been interesting if Charlotte had read Sense and Sensibility or Persuasion instead. Austen could portray passion and longing. Marianne was quite emotional, and Anne suffered from unrequited love in a similar way to Jane Eyre. Anne had to watch the man she loved flirt with other women and ignore her. I might also add that Jane Austen wrote about a governess marrying into the gentry first. In Emma, Mrs. Weston (nee Taylor) had been Emma's governess before marrying Mr. Weston. It was the one marital match Emma got right.
Wow. I feel like for the first time in my life I've heard a commentary on Jane Eyre that gets it. It's goals are so completely different from Jane Austen- or from any romance novel I'm familiar with... Calling what is obviously a whole. Life. Story. A romance totally rubs me the wrong way to begin with and backs certain commentators into a corner of explaining... You know... Everything else in the novel. Obviously he said it all better than I possibly could but at least I can say well done.
british library, jane is a closeth cousin of mineth. Ov'r mine own dead corse i calleth upon thee to quieten the soundeth of thy video. Mine own ears has't been in cage f'r the past 7 years and des'rve justice. If 't be true to thy duties art not s'rv'd then i shall calleth upon the dogs to beest released, and shall hail upon mine own kingdom to invade the british kingdom
I can hear the spoken remarks, but the music adds nothing. It’s repetitive, trivial and completely without musical interest - akin to “elevator music.”
Hey Guys
The little CC button at the bottom of the video is for subtitles; for those of you having trouble hearing the man... :D

I had to turn up the volume so much that my neighbours sued me. Now I´m in jail, but it was worth listening to it.

Thank you! I really enjoy these films, but the background music is a little to loud making it hard to hear what the people are saying.
