Penn Jigmaster 500L U.S.A. Made

🎣 my first geared reel was a 1972 Penn Jigmaster 500A with plastic spool and plastic spare spool.
I have a Penn 49A and narrow model too,!
I love Penn reels, I enjoy fishing with them,! 🐟 🎣

That’s the stuff that makes great memories, it’s to bad Penn outsourced them to China but fortunately you can still find used ones in near perfect condition and upgrade if ever needed to stainless gears, bridge plates; anti reverse. 👍🎣

Have you tried the 250 or 200 Surfmaster by Penn. Just a little lighter duty than the best reel ever made "Jigmaster".
