It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “Some of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said to him, ‘We find in ourselves thoughts that are too terrible to speak of.’ He said, ‘Are you really suffering from that?’ They said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘That is a clear sign of faith.’” (Muslim).

Also can you just not wash hands and start at washing your face, since washing the hands in Sunnah correct? As well as what about cupping water in hands to wipe your hair so you don't doubt if you had water?

She has such a hard time praying ( shaytan making her think she is just praying for us and not for Allah) , with reciting quran and also with daily things.

@@ikramal4447 May Allaah make it easy for her. I think just being constant in making duaa and like Imraan said to ignore the whispers completely and not give them any thought. For example I would always get a lot of thoughts that I mocked the religion and thus i've apostated. Don't try argue with shaytaan about it, he'll make you go crazy. Just ignore it, no matter how hard it is.
Also seek knowledge, when you have knowledge of Allaah, His messenger salallahu alaihi wasalam and the religion it increases one in certainty and so this can help in ignoring these whispers. For example, if shaytaan told you that you are not a muslim anymore because you hate something from the religion. If one studied Nawaqidul Islaam then they would know what the nullifiers are and what they entail. This would help them to deflect shaytaans whispers by the permission of Allaah.
Like br Imraan said, Allaah tests us all differently. Hold in there, be patient, make lots of duaa and take the advice from this video. It will definitely get better, as Allaah said 'with every hardship there is relief' and He affirmed this for us twice, Alhamdulillaah.
I hope this helps, BarakAllahu feek.

Subhanallah, that is what shocked me!
From about August 2021 till now February 2022 I have been having waswasa, but one thing I noticed during my waswasa was that... I wasn't the one bringing these thoughts and I would never in a million years think of these thoughts. Then I decided to take a look into the past and look at my mistakes, as you said it was my tahara, then wudu, then my prayer and lastly whispers about Allah and His Messenger! I got shocked, I could've ignored it but I decided to listen and once the problem got big enough and made me depressed, I started debating with my thoughts. Then I noticed, I have always been good with my deen, and then realized that the problem wasn't in my deen but in me. I advise everyone to be careful cause Shaytan is smart, but we're smarter. May Allah bless us all and grant us jannah al firdous!

@@splashwtw1671 You can read the seerah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to make your conviction stronger, and also seek knowledge even if you feel like it doesn't make your imaan stronger or it doesn't lessen the waswas of shaytaan to you. Also if you keep thinking about those thoughts or questions (or whatsoever) that you have already solved before, TRY TO NOT PAY THEM ATTENTION. Cause even if you keep answering them or debunking them over and over again, you would just find yourself thinking about another thoughts again and it will be like a loop. Say to yourself, "I've already thought about this before and already answered them, so why does it keep coming over? I should not pay attention to it and I already accept the explanation/the reason of such and such or why it is like that, so I don't need to think about it anymore." I'm not sure if you'd understand it, but I hope you overcome this, Insha'Allah!
And also don't forget to do dhikr and dua and also Qur'an (regardless of what you feel). Insha'Allah this would end! Amin!

Back in 2013 I was depressed because of my weight and failing my studies. Then my prayers were affected due to waswasa. It was such a horrible period in my life.
I started developing ocd when it came to my wudhu and salah. Just in those two areas.
It would take me 15mins to do wudhu, and it would look like I had a shower. I would literally cry when making wudhu and pull my hair because waswasa was so severe.
When I prayed I started questioning my tajwid, and struggling to even pronounce letters (which I never had problems pronouncing before).
Because every rakah would take 5mins each, I shortened my surah to Al-Kausar. And eventually it became the only surah I used. I have now forgotten most surahs except from surah Al-Ikhlas.
The waswasa is not as severe anymore Alhamdulilah, as I have grown up a lot since 2013. But this video helped a lot with identifying the tactics of shaytan because he can make you feel like you’re the crazy one and lead you to eventually leaving prayer because of the mental torture he puts you through.
I ask Allah to protect us all and hope my story brought some insight that you’re not alone and you’re not crazy. You’re battling the enemy and it’s hard. May Allah make it easy for all of us.
Thanks Imran for the video. May Allah reward you for your efforts.

I Can relate a lot to what your saying unfortunately... always unsure in my Wudu and prayer and I just feel like I can’t take it I cry by myself and mentally I feel extremely exhausted. I’m questioning myself all the time in my salah and redo it over and over again. And I almost always think I have done or said something wrong in my salah. I’m so afraid that I’ll get punished and that my prayer won’t be valid If I don’t redo it

    • @queencess93
      @queencess93 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@@beyhivehere7924 subhana’Allah it becomes so exhausting.
I would say the best thing is to have a teacher who can explain the tajwid rules to you and who you can also ask questions to about salah (what invalidates salah/ what doesn’t)
But it’s sometimes so embarrassing to even speak about :(.
I did use one tactic that helped me with waswasa when it was severe. It was from an Islamic website ‘ if you think you have lost your wudhu then make sure you’re 100% sure like how you’re 100% the sun will rise tomorrow, if you’re not 100% sure then it’s a doubt and ignore it’
Also make sure you’re not praying alone, make sure your door is open or that there are people around. It kind of pulls you back into reality so you’re not in your head listening to the constant waswasa
And also, make sure you’re not alone all the time and communicate with people
who lift your imaan. The lone person is an easier target for shaytan.
I hope some of what I said is useful to you. I love you for the sake of Allah! 💛💛💛💛💛

Waswas is literally my whole life. Shaytaan never leaves me alone. Literally never. All he does is put doubts in my head about everything and anything, Allah, the prophet (S.A.W), other people, myself. Ive never had a positive thought. Ive always had to fight for them. Its like having a conversation in my head constantly with shaytaan where he throws me a curve ball and im trying to hit it. All I feel is anger all the time that only goes away with Quran or dhikr. I dont know how much longer I can do this. Its affecting my whole life. Its so bad sometimes I feel like he makes my whole body feel like its 1000 pounds just so im lazy in my prayers. If Allah is not on my mind ALL of the time, shaytaan ruins me. I can feel him there. Its so exhausting. I feel like I cant go on sometimes. Im not exaggerating, the difference in my personality when im praying and when im not is like night and day. Jekyll and hide kind of difference. Am I the only one that feels this?? Did someone black magic me?? Cus when Im late for a prayer (and by late I mean 1 hr into prayer time so the prayer is still valid but not read at exact time when it starts) I can begin something that feels like "air" come into my legs and move around there and stays until I pray and then I can feel it "leave" through my leg. Also when I do daily adkhaar I can feel something leaving my body and all my negative thoughts and feelings leave with it. Please make dua for me.

@@beyhivehere7924 Salam sis, this is a trap that the Shaytan wants you to fall in, he can't get you to leave the Salah so he makes you frustrated with it. We know that there are certain pillars for the salah like wudu, reading surat Al fatiha, etc. So as long as we come with these things our prayer is valid. Some parts of the prayer are only sunnah So if we don't do them we won't be sinning we just won't get the extra reward. Regarding the wudu, we know we have to wash our face arms head and feet. If you do these things in the right order and cover those body parts in water without missing areas then in sha Allah there's no reason why it wouldn't be accepted. So at this point you've done what Allah and the messenger have commanded us to do so surely Allah will accept. When we have more knowledge about these matters we can be more confident that were doing them right. A few good tips id say is don't delay the salah after your wudu just pray straight away so that your fresh and ready. Also having knowledge of your Creator helps you to have who your standing in front of and really helps you to focus more in the salah and not let the Shaytan distract you with such thoughts and make you doubt yourself. May Allah protect us all from these doubts and whispers of Shaytan

How do I differentiate between waswas/OCD-Thoughts and shak? And IF IT IS SHAK, is it possible for someone to regain full certainty again or is the person lost???? I am completely lost, I don‘t know what to do anymore. I have excessive OCD, my brain doesnt function like it used to because I severe fear and anxiety I felt from Shaytans waswas on Islamic Creed.
The waswasa have stayed til now in my mind and I don‘t know if its my OCD or actual doubts? I‘ve watched almost every TH-cam video to convince my brain again but it keeps on adding more and more doubts and when my brain is satisfied with it it moves on to another pillar of imaan. I am truly lost, my connection to Allah feels empty and I can‘t even think properly anymore.

the doubt is from shaitaan brother, have trust in Allah, a reminder for me too. the shaitan will try make us doubt Allahs plan. Allah might not give us something for our own benefit, remember he is the best of planners and Allah knows us better than we know ourselves. someone else might have something that you see as better than what you have, but you do not know what trial or tests and struggle they went through , to obtain that. Also i heard or saw something that said instead of looking at what other people have, we should look at those who have less than what we have so we can appreciate the blessings that Allah has given us. try refrain away from being jealous of others and ''ask Allah to make it easy for them when you see something good they have.'' trust is a big thing for me and you as muslims to have. keep making dua as it is powerful. and remember Allah says '' On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
Allah the Almighty said: I am as My servant thinks I am'' think good of Allah and Also be sure that Allah can help you and get you out of your situation. this is a reminder for me too as i am going through struggles too as we all are. May Allah make it easy for you brother or sister. forgive me if i got it wrong. Anything good is from Allah (swt), Anything wrong is from me and the shaitan

Please help me 😭😭😭for the sake of Allah🙏🙏🙏I'm also suffering from waswasa I'm preparing for my exams but anyhow i make time for Salah i pray 5 times Alhamdulillah... And i even read Quran but still i am fed up of fighting with these waswasa they are so terrible they make me feel so guilty... I get bad thoughts about my Almighty Allah and our Prophet Muhammad SalAllahu Alaihi Wasallam to such an extent that i sometimet beat myself and pull my hair 😭😭😭Then after that i think Allah will not forgive me now i have crossed the limits then i cry a lot... Sometimes i think it's better not to pray because I'm doing more sins but thinking such nonsense... It's very painful😭 shaitan is putting waswasa in my mind all the time every kind of waswasa related to Allah and Our Prophet Muhammad SalAllahu Alaihi Wasallam and my family and myself... Please pray for me I'm fed up of this... It's getting worse day by day😭😭😭😭😭... I can't explain here that every single thing that I'm going through (for example; whenever i pray when i start the prayer he says read it again you have not read it properly say it again and again and again i can't even continue to begin my salah then finally when i Say Allahu akbar and then when i finish Surah Al Ikhlas when i do sajda he whispers to me that you have not read surah Al ikhlas remember you said if you ever forget to read surah Ikhlas you'll die or someone dear to you will die then he says cut your salah and start again... This happens with me to every rakah that i pray and after o complete my prayer he whispers again that if you don't pray two more rakahs your sins won't be forgiven you are not thanking Allah you are a sinner you are continuously doing sins... I swear to Allah i feel so lazy during prayer when these thoughts came up in my mind i continuously lay down straight on prayer mat and try to sleep... Where for everybody it takes only 10 0r 5 minutes to pray salah it took me hour or half an hour to complete sometimes more 😭😭😭... He's also putting me waswasa that you are giving time to studies and not reading Quran and nor praying Salah on time you'll not succeed in exam Allah will hate you your duas will not be accepted 😭😭😭) These thoughts irritate me to such an extent that i sometimes think that they'll make me mad😭😭😭or I'll kill myself because of these thoughts... Please help me get rid out of this... It's a request 🙏🙏🙏

I am still doing it unconditionally even after reciting. Maybe it's better to seek the help of Psychotherapist and trace these thoughts. I am pretty there's no way to solve this issue with just "manning up or ignoring it" when it's quite advanced over the years. Dealing with mental issues requires "ILM" and the thoughts and the doubts has its reason that traces back to past in most OCD patients. OCD patients has to get rid of the core factor which caused this doubts.

But now i am ignoring it but it just doesnt go away inside of prayer and outside of prayer, i also have waswas about wudua and that i touched everything so i just keep rubbing and rubbing, i have this moslty on my hand and elbows and the feet and between the little parts like between the eyes and nose and stuff it takes me a long time to "prepare" for prayer, maybe 25 minutes, i sit on the toilet maybe for more than 5 minutes and then also clean myself for almost 5 min. I honestly have had waswas for months now, and it came different kind of forms, intention, wudu, passing wind, that i broke my prayer or not, i even have waswas about laughing in prayer, i always try to ignore it but it still doesnt go away. If someone has the ability to help me or advice me, than please reach out to me ( i prefer a women). If you have maybe waswas abt intention and ghusl then i can help you because i once had it and now it is completly gone Alhamdulillah. BarakAllahu feek/feekum.

So it doesn't count (the doubt) as long as you dont speak it out or act upon it?

    • @kaifkhan-qj9xo
      @kaifkhan-qj9xo 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Yeah, it does not count, if you are not contemplating on it or thinking or taking any action against it... Prophet (saw) said clearly in his last sermon - "Follow and grasp these two things and you will never go astray"
      1). Al-Quran.
      2). Sunnah/teaching of Prophet (saw).
Its sad to say most of the people who encountered with whispers or easy target for satan are only those who are away from these two things.

I have a HUGE waswas problem it’s gotten so bad where sadly I don’t enjoy praying and doing wudu as much as before. The thing is I say it’s waswas but it’s so strong sometimes it leaves me stressing the whole day. I know Islam isn’t supposed to be hard but I just want to do it right and these thoughts are making me think otherwise. I mainly have it for wudu. I always had a gas and urine problem my whole life as in I always think and sometimes actually pass wind and drip urine. But when I pray I feel I’m doing it consistently and I keep redoing my wudu. Sometimes I feel wind come out with no smell so I ignore it and sometimes I smell something without feeling anything idk I’m so lost and need help. I know for a fact I have urine problems but idk if I have any gas ones but I do pass wind a lot at least I think. Overall, what I’m trying to say is that I’m ignoring everything and just praying through it all hoping the what I think are waswas goes away. Is this right because sometimes I might actually do it and I just doubt that I actually did it because it takes a lot to make me certain on things. Are my prayers valid?
