There are a million videos out there about the city of Paris, and those are certainly interesting and informative, but I’m much more interested in seeing what it’s actually like living in Paris. Your videos express warmth, personality, creativity, and honesty - that’s always far more interesting to me. You are not forcing any of us to watch. People watch things that interest them. You do come across as a real person, which I appreciate. When I watch, I can relate to you, and think, yes, maybe I could live in in Paris too! Follow your passion and you will never go wrong.

I love your channel/content. You are sharing such an authentic and honest telling of your experience living your life. Not everyone will like or want the same things and you are correct. If someone does not like the content then they simply don't have to watch, they are not tied to a chair and being forced. I think those that post negative or less than supportive comments are seeking attention and possibly have issues of envy/jealousy. Keep doing what you are doing as long as you want and it feeds your wellbeing. No one can take that from you.

I like watching your day-to-day life, personally. Your mom looked adorable showing what you made for the tree when you were younger! I love seeing how sweet you and your family are. I'm from Québec, Canada by the way. :P These vlogs feel like we're talking to a friend. I love it! I was in Paris with my sister in May and we had so much fun! One thing we did that could be fun ( for you if you haven't tried it yet ) is we took the train to London to spend one day there. We were in Paris for two weeks. The train ticket was surprisingly not expensive and the staff was so nice! We went with Eurostar. Could be fun to go with Jean just for fun!

My favorite soup is potato leek soup! I make it sometimes but I don’t put flour in it. I like it pretty basic with chicken broth but you can put cream in it too. Jean is the perfect Frenchman!
I enjoy watching your everyday life in Paris. It must be hard to think of things to show us everyday on blogmas . One idea to consider is to show us some store windows and how they ave decorated them for Christmas. Perhaps the high end stores on the Champs d’Elyses

I LOVE potato leek soup! So perfect for cold and rainy days. I always make it when we go to Paris because it's perfect for the fall/winter weather. Great job Jean! 😁 Your parents are delightful! Can I ask why your shoes were 2 sizes too small?

Great video~warm socks and eyes drops--like Visine (because it comes in handy and isn't cheap to buy) and ChapStick and maybe a good old fashion 2024 Farmer's Almanac or just a fun magazine to read or a journal to write in. Q-tips too. I dunno ;) Much love Arielle. Thank you. :)

Hi, I think your channel is cute, and I can really relate. I was “you” in Paris when I was 20 years old, and my boyfriend was French. We’ve been married 34 years now! We go back to France often, I’m from Ontario too by the way! Passe un joyeux Noël avec ton petit chérie🇨🇦🎄🎄Btw easy for adults but hygiene products for kids try les pansements avec les motifs Disney ou la mousse pour le bain.
Don't pay attention to anything negative. We watch because we want to see what regualar life in Paris is like. Maybe someone might be thinking of moving to Paris and they should know what it's really like. I think your channel is getting better and will keep getting better as you go along. Fun "real" Christmas video! Vlogmas is my favorite to watch real days in the life.
BUT Am I missing something? Please explain how you just realized you were wearing shoes 2 sizes too small? OUCH! How can that be?
Toy: UNO card game, yo yo’s. Hygiene: Toothbrush and paste, bar of fresh smelling soap, that feels like a treat. I love this idea. We as a family fill Samaritan Purse boxes for children around the world.

I LOVE ❤ your content! And think today you had e rather extreme schedule. Be kind to yourself and sleep more. Please. Maybe do something easier. A q and a with Jean, a leisurely walk. Something with less editing. A live ?
Some people aren't happy with themselves and have nothing to do but to be ugly towards others!! Hopefully they are the minority!! Vlogmas can be shorter videos due to you having to film daily...do what you feel you can do not what people are asking you to do. If you have a day that there is bad weather and you are staying in your apt. just do a shorter video about your day. Some days will end up being lo get and things will balance out. Knit or crochet hats, mittens are good to keep male, female, young and old warm. Sweatshirts are good for kids and sometimes you can find books that are crossword puzzles for young children...maybe a few packages of instant hot chocolate too. Hope you and Jean are doing well!!

An idea for the hygiene item for women is sanitary products. Charities in the UK always request this for adults.

Some viewers may feel your channel should be more of a travel show. That's okay, and those viewers have a right to want that. However, for myself, I like viewing your daily life - for example when you are searching for an apartment, sourcing furniture, shopping at food markets, thrift stores, riding and walking to restaurants, etc. (Is it too expensive to own a car? Do they have car dealerships and the same reputation as here in the states? I would love to see your team play basketball. I enjoy watching ex-pat life in France. How difficult would it be for a non-French speaker to live in Paris? Keep up the great work and glad you are able to make a full-time living from TH-cam.
🙄 No one has yet forced me against my will to subscribe to or watch anyone's channel. Sheesh. Some people, amirite? Jean's soup reminded me of a recipe I have...adding it to next week's menu.
More of Paris? There are lots of videos that "tour" Paris. Personally I appreciate getting to know who you are. I don't actually enjoy bloggers who remain anonymous to their viewers. I think seeing un jour quotidien is at least as informative as a tour. Too many people have these dramatically romanticized ideas of life in Paris. I suppose it depends on what you're after. Vacation tours & tips abound. What would it be like to actually live in Paris? Just watch this channel.
Girl I love your channel. Take it from a 74 yr old. It is never fun to be away from home and family during the holidays. Ignore the haters or tell them to start their own canell with the content they think everyone wants to see. On the hygiene item everyone can use a good lip balm.
Dear one, just you be you - you will never please or satisfy everyone. And some folks will make verbal attacks, because they simply lack the courage to start their own channel, in my view.......
I watch you because you are an ordinary girl living an ordinary life in PARIS..many of us dream of that. There are lots of channels that tour Paris..this isn’t one I go to for that. 19:14
Too be honest, I'd get bored of pure Paris related content. Yes, Paris is a busy vibrant city, but there would be a limit to what content you could show. Besides, you would get a comment, saying "you show too many Parisian restaurants" or "you show to much shopping in Paris". You will get a comment regardless, so you may as well keep doing what you're doing. Also, Paris is expensive, so you would be investing every cent you make back into content, so from a business point of view that would a silly thing to do.
