I own A Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird in Black of course and would never sell it, ever. I would recommend anyone taking a Bird sport touring any chance you can. My last run burnt up a rear S22 Bridgestone and was well worth it. You meet the nicest people on a honda, truly

Blackbird was my bucket list bike ever since a brief ride back in the late 90s.
I say 'was' because 6 months ago I bought a 2005 Blackbird with just 11,000 km on it.
The thing about the BB is not the power as such, it's the smooooooothness of how it gets the job done.

Watching this makes me cry, but not because of feeling sadness, but because there are people who have the luxury of not caring, yet they care so much and dedicate their life to the purpose of taking care of the forgotten. I am a parent to a teenage son, who is extremely rebellious, who doesn't take advantage of everything I have provided for him to be successful. Who fights against every word I say and who is not accepting and revelling against any help to finish high school. Some kids have it all and they choose to fight against those who love them, these kids had no one to love them, yet they strive to make a better future for themselves. That is something I will never understand. I struggle every day to teach my son values and discipline. Nothing works. But I am glad there are kids outthere who came from nothing and want to improve. Kudos to those who care. Because I know what it's like to care so much.

Man, I've been a long time viewer, back when you had less than 10,000 subs, and always loved your content. I would love to have a beer and shake your hand or even get a big hug from you if you're into that. I have never felt so connected to someone over the internet. You're such a humble and real person and you're doing some amazing work spreading the word. I've finally decided to donate to the cause and have put some bucks away just to help this cause. This will be such an amazing benefit to society as a whole. I hope this works out and more people see this amazing video.

Josh, I know you're always thanking us, but let me thank you. There's always less fortunate than many of us, and sometimes we get too consumed in our own little worlds to take a second and remember that organizations like Forgotten Angels exist, but could always benefit from our assistance. What I can donate may not be much, but I'm happy to help when I can. So, thank you and thank Cindy and Dave and everyone involved there with all that you and all of the other weirdos do. At my age,(75) you will have learned that hard life lessons will be hitting you at all life stages. Getting the help you need at those times is critical to your well-being. I have tried to get tickets for almost all the bike raffles, but sometimes my financial wizardry won't allow it. These tickets are not for winning the bikes, because I know that I am probably the most unlucky person. A drawing of 2 tickets, I would lose. This is the most worthwhile project I've ever been interested in. It's also the only group l am willing to trust to do this.

Very personal story to me on so many levels. Save who we can, we are the humanity. It’s us. Not the million or billionaires. Not the politicians. It’s us. The regular dudes and dudettes taking care of us. Just scraping by is good enough. Not in it to win but I know all the military minds out there know about honor and selflessness. Purpose, motivation, and direction!

An amazing video and cause. The bike is truly amazing too. I’ve owned two, unfortunately my second is off the road at the moment and I need to change that. I’d like to say that out of all the three bikes in this group that the Blackbird has the looks and the other two was only able to be faster by increasing the engine size. And not being that much faster.
I wish you all every success in your mission it’s a great cause.

Dealer totaled it saying it had 6,500 dollars worth of damage. I only paid 6,700 for it. Told well you can’t build one part by part for what you can buy one. Take care bud and ride safe.

If I win the Blackbird, I will be donating it back to David.. After a few weeks to ride it.. lol.. As a 90's kid (born 81).. I had this bike on a poster in my bedroom as well, and dreamed of the speed, but my first bike was a new 06 cbr600r, delivered to me out of a pickup from a dealer in Michigan with huge discounts in the back of the old Auto & RV magazines that we all used to look at for the used market, at least we did here in Indiana/Midwest.. then in 07 had to upgrade to the cbr1000rr, so I could ride 100+mph wheelies, lol.. Still own it to this day, but it usually receives about 200-300mi a year. Its sat like that ever since I rode a friends Harley..This was 2013.. I made fun of them for years, dogged them as being old, slow, overpriced.. Within 90days of that first ride I got a 2010 street glide used with only 3500mi and still own it to this day as well.. It now has 60k miles, it was stock for a year then s&s cam, air cleaner, & v&h pro pipe.. Then at 38k miles I replaced the top end to 107 cu inches at 10.75:1 comp, big ported heads, big zippers cam, s&s throttle body & inj, new legends shocks front and rear, new 21ft & 18rear Kruesi wheels, new SP Concepts 2into1, all new risers & protapers foot controls & boards, ect.. I was wanting a new bike, but kept my old trusty, and spent about $13k on building it to a modern looking beast, the old twin cam sounds like a race car since going high compression & hi lift cams, made 126hp/135tq.. so better than a stg2 M8.. or equal to a 24 stg2.. My dealer only wanted to give me $7500 for trade on it last year, and with trade was still going to be over $30k for the 23 street glide ST.. its been paid off for 8yrs and not cost me a penny so I kept it spent $13k modding it, and have an amazing 2010 bagger, thats one of a kind and bad ass to ride.. and epic 07 CBR1000rr.. Two legends in the biking world to this day IMO.. They both make me smile every time I enter the garage..

I've never tried a Blackbird, i did test-ride a BMW K1200S in like 2005 or 2006 and i swore to myself i'd never have one... Same formula, inline 4 with 1200ish ccs, 165ish hp, 100ish foot pounds of torque, very similar weight, very similar ergos (sport touring with an emphasis on sport) and it's a freaking rocket ship.
Why did i swear i'd never have one? I was doing 220-230 kph or 135-140 mph on a very short swedish on-ramp onto a 67 mph two-lane road with no buffeting, no drama, just ooooodles of acceleration. On a test-ride.
I was 21 or 22 back then, i'm 40 now and barely able to control myself on my 110 hp boxer 2005 R1200ST. Did you know the R1200ST does power-wheelies in first gear without clutching? It sure does! Get to 5000 rpm in first, let go of the throttle or finger the front brake and then give'r, sure enough, front wheel rises like a full moon in august! I shouldn't know that, now i'm doing it all the time =D Remind me to change the oil in the hub and lube the splines on the drive-shaft this winter...

I bought a 2007 K1200S about 8 years ago when I was in my early 50's. 167 hp with 95.4 lb-ft torque. You are correct, they are a freaking rocket ship. It was the most stable motorcycle I have ever ridden at speed. The Germans might not know how to win a war, but they definitely know how to build motorcycles. A year and a half in to owning it came the moment I realized it was more bike than I needed. Some young lad on a 600 something decided he wanted to race, so I obliged. Doing about 120 kph (75 mph) in 6th gear I just rolled on the throttle. He got about 3 bike lengths ahead of me when the Beamer woke up and I was gone. When I took a glance down at the speedo I was doing 275 kph (175 mph) and still had lots of throttle left to play with. Common sense kicked in and I eased up on the go fast grip, and called the dealer the next day and traded it in on an R1200R. Several bikes later I'm currently riding a 2023 Street Glide and a 1994 R1100RS.

I had planned to buy more raffle tickets for the cause anyway, and the bonus of winning a very cool bike doesn't hurt. I often daydreamed of some way of helping the abused or lost young women or men of our area on a large scale but haven't figured it out yet. Fentanyl and meth continue to plague our area, and the dealers continue to recruit young people with the tool of addiction. I will leave on a positive note. I am blessed to have 2 very cool bikes and even know my past I have had Softail's and may have rode OPH like a dyna or Road king. I hope to buy a Road King soon. Josh again you are a true Knight or Soldier for the cause and hope my wife and I get to meet the amazing Dave and Cindy one day, as well as the Shadetree army of Tampa Bay.

I was 18 in 97’ I had Nighthawk and worked a construction job to stash some cash (few other things as well) I was blown away how flipping scary this thing was! Yeah went with 600 CBRF3 which also was bad machine for its day but yeah they had Makuni Carbs. I think that thing may have weighed 450 or so pounds and was fast. Oddly enough I picked up a HD FXDL in 2002 and I still have that. Yeah but that Blackbird was a bad machine. All that power and I think just a shade heavier than my 600.

I have one of these (owned for about a year) It’s amazing. There are fast-er bikes, that’s for sure, but it’s smooth and comfortable - and plenty fast. Far faster than I’ll ever never.
Smooth, sounds great, amazing wind protection. It’s so well rounded and such a quality machine.
I was glad to meet/own my hero. Worth it

The "Bird" is the word; I live in the UK, if I bought a ticket to your raffle could I leave the bike at Davids and say come across the pond once a year and go touring on it? I owned a bird for a few years myself and regret selling it.

Sorry but the ZZR 1100 started the speed wars, Honda just wore the crown for a year. try a ZZR 1100, their induction noise is next level.

I grew up with posters of Harleys on my wall. I do like all bikes, but the heart wants what the heart wants, and mine wanted a Harley.
Having said that. That is a bad ass bike. I'm buying tickets.
