It’s awesome that his channel is seeing success and we are enjoying it in North America as well. Bryan builds just like I do and he has a beautiful mind
A fun project indeed. Its goin to be rad. Being a US model A and B Ford guy, its great too see you work on British cars...and I see the huge advantage too. It takes up a wee lesser space, easier to work on with smaller, lighter engine and gear box...and I guess,a bit ceaper to get hold of than a model A and not too mention a model B... and we all know the prices on trimparts for US flatheads, both 4 bangers and V8s!!
there is something very special about this because it is such an intuitive process…no fiddly plans or precise dimensions with which to be concerned …and who else would think to flip the whole chassis upside down and make the suspension function with a few simple changes?…love it brother!…i’ll be watching faithfully!
Blimey, I'm wondering how to make new spring hanger mounts for my bus, and then I come in to watch 'Slice It Sunday'. This build is just awe inspiring.
You previously had me a bit wondering, but in this episode, the shrew has clicked for me. What a promising build this is! I'd call the Oak Swamp channel: unlimited automotive creativity 😉
' One Last Hurrah' . The scuttle looks great, it gives it a 30's GP racer look. I keep thinking Low Chassis Invicta when I see the car on the video, it's such a great stance.
A couple of other thoughts… you could poke a hole in the top of the grill shell to make it easier to fill the radiator and also mount some sort of mascot or ornament there. I also think that with that teeny Crosley engine that teeny radiator will cool it just fine. Grommets are indispensable. A buddy had a bunch from his work they were getting rid of so when he moved to Oklahoma he gave them to me. They are all over the knockouts on the Beast, the Flat Rat Jeep and now El Gordo, the 1951 GMC panel truck I picked up last October
I LOVE how you take bits of rubbish, and turn them into a unique automotive sculpture thats going to be fun to drive! Good job! From Michigan U.S.A. ❤❤❤🎉
The Austin Crosley is really taking shape. The dual chains off the third member will work great! The GMC with blown 350 is bad to the bone. Great video. I was way high on the Leaf weight but happy someone nailed it exactly. Cheers from frigid Denver!
The cowl and and windscreen takes Le Shrew (La Musaraigne) 'single seat racecar' to a new dimension! 😯 Rather than a traditional Cardan U joint, which doesn't do well running at zero degrees, possibly a rubber coupling, ala Alfa Romeo or Mini, might be another approach. It appears to this easy chair observer, that unless the diff/sprocket assembly is firmly affixed to the engine, there will be some unwelcome stresses between the two. What great friends you have looking out for keeping you supplied with bits and pieces. That's shows a sincere love for what you do. Thanks for another fast paced, fun filled, video.
As always, fantastic . Narrow the diff housing , reweld the ends back on including break drums .bolt sprokets to wheel studs . Have Ted cut new splines on the shorted axils . Will watch with interest as always . Cheers Howard
Congratulations on 10,000 subscribers. I really enjoy watching your channel you prove you don’t have to have a big garage with every tool ever made to make awesome cars.
