I know. He is truly the most underrated singer. His vocals are off the charts. He can sustain a Bb4 and a C5 forever effortlessly and go all the way to an F5. Absolutely an incredible feat for a male singer. David has God given talent, and you can just feel the spirit if God in his music. Im so blessed to be here to listen to him.
@@towardsheaven4196 you are exactly right my friend but I was referring to outside the gospel music fanbase and shouldve stated that. One can only imagine the mark he would leave in pop music with a voice like that, and I've always admired David for using his voice to glorify God, but again to your point, he's everything BUT underrated in gospel music. Its like for example I was watching a reaction video one time which was a rapper reacting to Johnny Cash for which he had no clue as to who Johnny Caah even was, and the comments were pouring in with people saying that they couldnt believe that anyone in the modern world wouldn't know who Johnny Cash was, but that's the way it is sometimes when music listeners stay inside the bubble of the genre that they like listening to. I still find it hard to believe that the guy had never heard of Johnny Cash, but I digress. 😄
I've been singing this song in my heart, knowing that this song speaks of who I am. Here I am listening to the group with my eyes watering. I am among those few good men.
What this dying world could use is a willing Man of God Who dares to go against the grain and works without applause A man who'll raise the shield of Faith, protecting what is pure Whose love is tough and gentle; a man whose word is sure God doesn't need an Orator who knows what just to say He doesn't need authorities to reason Him away He doesn't need an army to guarantee a win He just needs a few good men Men full of compassion, who laugh and love and cry Men who'll face Eternity and aren't afraid to die Men who'll fight for freedom and honor once again He just needs a few good men He calls the broken derelict whose life has been renewed He calls the one who has the strength to stand up for the truth Enlistment lines are open and He wants you to come in He just needs a few good men Men full of compassion, who laugh and love and cry Men who'll face Eternity and aren't afraid to die Men who'll fight for freedom and honor once again He just needs a few good men Men full of compassion, who laugh and love and cry Men who'll face Eternity and aren't afraid to die Men who'll fight for freedom and honor once again He just needs a few good men Men full of compassion, who laugh and love and cry Men who'll face Eternity and aren't afraid to die Men who'll fight for freedom and honor once again He just needs a few good men He just needs a few good men He just needs a few good men He just needs a few good men He just needs a few good men
This is a great patriotic song, and it applies to police, firemen, and other public servants who put their lives on the line to keep the world safe. Thanks for such a great song, Suzanne and Barry.
This was the best group to sing in the Gaither band. Greatest sound combination ever. Wow!
Man when they had that shot of Jake Hess I lost it, I miss those legends like him and George
David Phelps belting out an Eb like it's nothing. What a powerhouse!
