OOHRAH, United States Marine Corps veteran here. Thank you GVB, to God in Heaven be all the glory!!! God bless America 🇺🇸 always! HALLELUJAH, SEMPER FIDELIS FOREVER!
After hearing this song and seeing those uniform men... I'm damn proud to be an American. Thank you for your service and sacrifice for our country and freedom. ✊️🇺🇸
My dad passed away in 2006 and there was no song more fitting that I felt we could sing at his funeral it lifted spirits amidst tha sadness. This world needs a few good men to stand up .this song is blessing and an inspiration
Recorded live at Carnegie Hall, the concert was planned long before the events of September 11th but became far more poignant after. The concert was performed in 2002, less than a year following the WTC attacks, so there were still plenty of raw emotions surrounding this song. The artists, in order of participation, are Woody Wright, Terry Blackwood, Sherman Andrus, Reggie Smith, Wesley Pritchard and Guy Penrod, backed by the Homecoming Choir. When the firefighters came out, my spine tingled and my heart was in my throat. You could see the eyes of a couple of those heroes tearing up from the support. Simply an amazing, amazing moment! No other superlatives will do.
seamus1956 Thank you for all the info you supplied. I've loved this song for many years, and could watch it all day long, except for the time it takes to run for the tissue. I cry every single time Guy hits those notes and the men come out. Chilling and awesome!
14-05-2023 LISTENING THIS BLESSED PRAISE!!!! TRUE WORSHIPER LEADS OTHER PEOPLE TO WORSHIP TOO, IT'S YOU ARE GVB!!!! GOD BLESS YOU MY BROTHERS!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hard to believe it has just been 20 years this very month. This video still holds the emotion of 9/11 and can still feel the anointing of the Holy Spirit as these amazing God loving Christian singers give God the glory! Praise the Lord!
This song made me cry. My Dad was a cop too. He passed away in 2016. I Miss him so much. Iam dedicating this song to all the Soldiers in the world. Because of you guys we live a comfortable and secured life.
Folks I am a retired US Army officer and combat veteran and let me tell you firemen are my heroes since they go where I do not want to go to save lives. God bless each and every one of them. What a blessed song because it makes me also think of those I went into harms way with.
Born and raised in NY (long Island) and attended Nursing School In NYC... I can tell you firefighters are a different breed. Fire and Police are in my family for several generations but working in particular in NYC and similar places where there are high-rises, projects and buildings owned by slumlords where people have jury rigged their squalor residences is one hell of a challenge...to find a safe way out. We pray for our Police, Military and FireFighters.
The Vietnam Veterans are the most underappreciated Veterans. I missed going to Nam by just a couple of years so I served with a lot of them and I had the utmost respect for them. They deserved better.
am not an American but i love the way you honour your country as a real citizen.... I love to meet with Billy Gaither and homecoming friends i love you America always supper power nation under God
The emotions were so intense in that room, and this song still gives me chills. I believe the ultimate sacrifice you can consent is that for your country (patriotism), but more importantly is to stand for the right though the heavens fall. That is true freedom! Indeed, God just needs a few good men. Thank you Gaither!
This just popped up as I was listening to GVB. Here it is Nov. 2019. This touched my heart in a huge way. It blessed me and took me back to memories of 9/11 , what a sad day in history. When the fireman came out I lost it !! I love the respect and honor they were given. God bless you !!
Amen. I remember what a sad day 911 was also. Twenty years ago this month. I remember our lawmakers stepping out on to the steps of the Capitol building to sing God Bless America, (couldn't have been approved by anyone), and foreigners overseas and in Canada singing our national anthem, and a refueling craft from Europe somewhere with a sign on the dash that said "hi America". I have the (last, I suppose) special edition of the Des Moines Register with the huge headline AMERICA AT WAR! There were many one-time-only events on that day. When else would you hear someone else doing our national anthem, or flying our flag?
So powerful that 19 people got so teary eyed that they didn't know the difference from thumbs up and thumbs down button. I added to my favorite and I will sharing. God bless everyone who serves. Military or not. Even if you help feed the homeless, you are one in a few good men and women
A Few Good Men Lyrics What this dying world could use is a willing Man of God Who dares to go against the grain and works without applause; A man who'll raise the shield of Faith, protecting what is pure; Whose love is tough and gentle; a man whose word is sure. God doesn't need an Orator who knows what just to say; He doesn't need authorities to reason Him away; He doesn't need an army to guarantee a win; He just needs a Few Good Men. Men full of Compassion, who Laugh and Love and Cry- Men who'll face Eternity and aren't afraid to die- Men who'll fight for Freedom and Honor once again- He just needs a Few Good Men. He calls the broken derelict whose life has been renewed; He calls the one who has the strength to stand up for the Truth. Enlistment lines are open and He wants you to come in- He just needs a Few Good Men. Men full of Compassion, who Laugh and Love and Cry- Men who'll face Eternity and aren't afraid to die- Men who'll fight for Freedom and Honor once again- He just needs a Few Good Men. Men full of Compassion, who Laugh and Love and Cry- Men who'll face Eternity and aren't afraid to die- Men who'll fight for Freedom and Honor once again- He just needs a Few Good Men.

we all in whatever work we do sure could benefit from applause. Sure we get a pay check we earned but how many would experience a boost when our boss just goes one step beyond to pat us on the back and lets us know we're appreciated. I visit the fire stations where i live with some treats now and then, sit and chat with the men and women who fight fires, rescue kids and others, rush to accidents in all kind of weather... who are shot at, have rocks thrown at them who are physically attacked... to let them know they are special and have earned more than a pay check in my eyes. We honor our police, military and firefighters.
Everyone should be thankful for all of the great people who have kept us free in the world so when you see someone who is in the service we should tank them
Don't worry about it. The dislikes probably came from the miserable soy boy anti-american lefties and angry feminists who yell at their cats. Who cares what those people think? It is a beautiful song.
That's probably the part that they didn't like. The song is, obviously, about God's "army", not paying tribute to the armed forces of any particular nation or its flag. Where's the Christian flag? At the very least, shouldn't it be raised on the pole above the American one?
This song was for New York City's heroes. It was a concert a few months after 9/11. Notice how the audience stands when the NYC police, firefighter, etc come in..
This beautiful song brought tears to my eyes the words makes me think of my Grandfathers my Grandparents they grew up in a wonderful world worked for their whole life keep up the great work serving our great country those who voted against it didn’t here the words
@ 4:30 they got my pops and . I. My dad ret. From the FDNY out of E-294 in Queens on a 9/11 related medical shortly after this. He was at Church St. and Vesey St. When the north tower fell.

I still get emotional seeing this. It was a lovely tribute to those who died and survived 9/11.

I know, it moves me as well.
Me too
How do they fight for freedom? Can you name a war that was for our freedom?

A Few Good Men Lyrics
What this dying world could use is a willing Man of God
Who dares to go against the grain and works without applause;
A man who'll raise the shield of Faith, protecting what is pure;
Whose love is tough and gentle; a man whose word is sure.
God doesn't need an Orator who knows what just to say;
He doesn't need authorities to reason Him away;
He doesn't need an army to guarantee a win;
He just needs a Few Good Men.
Men full of Compassion, who Laugh and Love and Cry-
Men who'll face Eternity and aren't afraid to die-
Men who'll fight for Freedom and Honor once again-
He just needs a Few Good Men.
He calls the broken derelict whose life has been renewed;
He calls the one who has the strength to stand up for the Truth.
Enlistment lines are open and He wants you to come in-
He just needs a Few Good Men.
Men full of Compassion, who Laugh and Love and Cry-
Men who'll face Eternity and aren't afraid to die-
Men who'll fight for Freedom and Honor once again-
He just needs a Few Good Men.
Men full of Compassion, who Laugh and Love and Cry-
Men who'll face Eternity and aren't afraid to die-
Men who'll fight for Freedom and Honor once again-
He just needs a Few Good Men.
Thanks alot
Glory be to God

Son was in the Ole Guard. Lots of funerals. I cry each time the drum rolls.

How can people be so cruel to give this a thumbs down :(

GATHER VEIDO. JUST NEEDS A FEW MEN.
This song is about so much more than worldly heroism, although it is about that; it's about the children of God, who have the faith and the courage to stand in the very jaws of a Godless world and say,
"NO! Thus saith the LORD"!
Yes we still need good honest men!! 🙏🏻🇺🇸

When America was still united!
In a few months ( from July 3, 2021), is the anniversary of 9/11.
We are currently facing an attack more devastating and long lasting than 9/11.
America must turn back to God, love and honor Him with all your and love your neighbors, black or white, regardless of their political or religious persuasion, as you would love yourself.
The two most important commandments!
Also, people that prays together, will endure and emerge from hardship together.
One of my favorite Gaither songs
Sadly much of society dosent treat these heroes with the respect they deserve and see them as nothing more than animals so that makes it easy for them to go after out first responders
Thanks Psalm 103&91
