My grandma sang this hymn yesterday when they took her off the ventilator. She was surrounded by her 3 sons, her 2 grandchildren, and her husband. We all joined in even though I hadn’t heard it in years. I love you, grandma, and I look forward to meeting you at the river

My Dad loved this hymn, he wanted it played at his funeral when he found he was termanily ill with pancreatic cancer. he was a very fond countryman, fisherman and horseman and we granted him his wish and all sung our hearts out. RIP Dad, Miss you everyday, love you forever xxx
Same here. My dad used to sing this to himself at home, so we had it played in the church as we carried his coffin.

I miss my parents and my siblings already passed. I've always said when my time comes to go the other side I would like this hymn sang because I firmly believe I will meet with them again. I've told them to meet me, they will be there to meet me at the river that flows by the thrown of God.

I just had a friend commit suicide today. I witnessed to him for 8 years. I am heartbroken. I'm not sure if he was saved. I am thankful God is mefciful.

One of my nephews committed suicide. His brother witnessed to him and loved him much . His brothers a d father ridiculed him for believing in Jesus. He lost hope but I know he had the most precious heart. We have to know the longsuffering and mercy of God.
