As a Rutgers alum living in Iowa and rooting for the Hawks since 2001 I was just hoping for a good game. My daughter and I were watching from BWW in Cedar Rapids and the place went nuts went the Muscatine kid banked in the impossible shot! And to the guy who accidentally ripped my jacket in the melee that ensued: it was worth it.
How? Go Hawks!

Damn I was at this game tonight. We all got hyped when the three was scored by Rutgers then we were mad and confused when the hawks made in the point
That shot literally hit the edge of the backboard lol I ain't complaining
The edge of the backboard is out of bounds. The replay clearly showed it did NOT hit the edge, but bounced off the surface. The refs were looking for that on the replay, if it had hit the edge the shot would not have counted. GO HAWKS!

I'm a die hard but c'mon man.. 2 game winning buzzer beaters against slightly above par teams isn't reason enough to say final 4.. we need to cut down on turnovers before we even think about March..
I agree@@rickderby7425 but the Hawkeyes are winning games that could go either way and the past few years they were losing those games. It's all about having the confidence or knowing you can win any game. Whether or not it's a #5 or unrated team. You and me both know that nobody can ever fill out the March bracket perfectly. It's literally impossible. Anyone can win. The Hawks will be in the NCAA Tournament but what seed they will be will be determined how they finish the next 6 games. Hopefully they win at least 4 of them.

This game cost me 8k
This was the worst called game I had ever seen. They called a basket interference in Rutgers when they clearly touched the ball AFTER it hit the rim. Also Rutgers was gonna score on a fast break and the refs called a foul when NO ONE was around to foul. This should’ve been Rutgers’s game.
^^^ always that one person who blames the refs.. I also saw a few fouls that weren't called that could've gone Iowa's way but were never called. Easy to blame the refs..

12-13 with 5 big ten wins isn’t horrible, their football team is one of the worst teams I’ve ever seen though
