No matter how hard Gemini is talking to Lunar they still care for him, and that is some hope to hold onto. Gemini \ Caster and Pollex have really been the only people Lunar has interacted with other then Earth. Plus growing romantic feelings for them did not help their split. Lunar is not just losing a friend, he is loosing a crush and a mentor.
All that being said, the ending was sick! Nebula is such boss!
I knew Lunar would get in trouble for killing Eclipse. He didn't do it accidentally, and he didn't do it out of self defense, he just outright killed him. And to the Astral Bodies, that's bad.
True and to bee real with you not evan putting eclips getting revived he to be real never killed ... anyone i think if we dont put like off screen kills which he wouldent do anyways so officaly by law and justys or justis ( its not my main language) lunar ir more of a criminal then eclips expecialy cause eclips can plead for insanity so hes technacly innocent but idk if the astruals care if your insane or not
@@mirelaene5187 exactly. And this Eclipse technically didn't kill anyone. That was the previous Eclipse. This one only had (some of) the memories of the previous Eclipse. He's not the same Eclipse that abused the Star, not the same Eclipse that killed Lunar, he's technically innocent. And definitely can plead insanity, because he was definitely showing signs of it. I think the Astral Bodies don't see the ramblings of a "madman" as a threat.
@@lorihutchison7084 If you remember from prior episodes, the Creator said that Eclipse's commands are hard wired in, so he wouldn't be able to challenge them. And Castor had told Eclipse that he wasn't the original. I believe Eclipse also mentioned that his memories seemed like they were in the third person point of view.
@@lorihutchison7084 I totally agree that the astral bodies don't understand humanity. You can watch something all you want, until you've experienced it, you won't have a full understanding. Especially someone who has suffered from trauma.
I don't know if Lunar is aware of how far Sun went down this type of rabbit hole after he had killed Bloodmoon and then went after Eclipse, since Lunar had been away from the daycare. I could see Lunar not wanting to talk to Earth, but Sun would have understood and maybe had been able to help him understand himself better or get him to a point of talking to Earth or another therapist.

i fucking hate that gemini isn’t wrong at all, but also (as someone who’s faced similar traumas myself) this is a lot for lunar, especially in the way it was shared. i understand needing to be direct and blunt but _fuck_ they quite literally cannot understand what he’s going through ever. i don’t know, i want to scream at gemini to lay off but i also know exactly why they’re facing him like this and it’s valid. i’m fucking losing my mind.

This episode hit HARD for me.
As a person who struggled like Lunar has (except the killing), it SUCKS to hear what someone you care about is giving you the truth.
Personally, I think Gemini is justified in getting this angry, they TRIED over and over again and Lunar wastes it. Now he has to face the consequences and Gemini can only sit back and watch, try and fight but not be able to change anything. Gemini has TRIED to help Lunar.
Though I will say... GREAT JOB LAES FOR THE VIDEO, GOOD JOB FOR PULLING AT MY HEART STRINGS :D

Also, I'd like to mention... Lunar NEVER said "sorry" or a "it's not your fault" to Gemini, maybe that's what made them even more upset tbh. ESPECIALLY when Lunar "you can't feel things". They could DEFINITELY feel things, because they are MAD at Lunar (which is stated they don't get mad often) and they felt HAPPY with Lunar. It is a whirlwind of emotions to hear the truth, but it is even HARDER on others when you push it on others (Lunar was doing that with Eclipse), yes controlling emotions is hard and Gemini needs to realize that. Lunar could've STOPPED himself.
Also, Eclipse was definitely egging Lunar on purpose. Lunar should've been able to see that yet he didn't.

As harsh as it was Gemini had some good points. Lunar refuses to move on and is stuck. He acts like a child and gets mad when the others treat him like one. And yeah he was pretty selfish killing Eclipse, knowing what was on the line. He needed this call out to wake up. Gemini was right no one wanted to confront him and hurt his feelings except them. Lunar you are so very screwed and you have no one to blame but yourself.

I don't know how I feel about Lunar's situation. Gemini made some VERY good points. He really should have gotten the help he needed, he does act childish, he did avoid the problem until it was too late.
But I also hold Moon and Solar acountable to an extent. They're the ones that agreed to let Eclipse help and roam the pizza plex. They knew there was a chance of an encounter, and as family to the person Eclipse tortured the most, they should have made more percussions to keep Eclipse away.
HOWEVER I also understand they tried to do that by making Jack. Honestly I was hoping he stayed near Lunar so he could go mop the floor with Eclipse. But it is what it is.
I don't know, i understand everyone's perspective on this.

Which will spark "character development," meaning instead of avoiding his problems, he will come to it. You make many excellent points and have clearly kept up with the show. I have no words honestly. Lunar has been my favorite part of this, and I've always loved seeing him happy because I've always been able to relate to them. This is the first thing that has made me literally cry (yes, I admit I cried while watching this.) but Gemini has a reason to be angry. I wanted the start of the new year to be happy and fun and now there's literally hints of him dying again. God I just want a break 😭
Honestly I see both sides. Gemini makes really good points, Lunar DOES need help and he IS avoiding it but also at the same time, Gemini doesn’t have emotions, so they can’t fully comprehend why lunar did what he did even if they think they know. This situation is confusing, Lunar is not a monster, and he shouldn’t have done what he did but I know the reason he did. I think Gemini was too hard on Lunar, I think what both parties did is not fully justified but both had a right to. I don’t think Gemini should have called Lunar dumb that many times though especially since he doesn’t understand a lot of things currently-that’s just my thought process
I’m honestly glad they gave it to him so harshly. Everyone has been trying to work out their problems so gently, but sometimes you need something firmer. Tough love.
I interpret Lunars self sabotage as a coping mechanism. He is most familiar with the hurting feelings, the ones that keep him from truly being happy. So he keeps them close, they're comforting. So is the idea of Eclipse being better, which is why he misses him. It's a lot, abuse can drastically change a person. Honestly I love the idea of Gemini not understanding it because of how complex these feelings are. Lunar can barely explain it so he just willows in it, he takes it in, he appreciates the pain. Even though he wants nothing more than to feel better. But if he doesn't think he deserves it, or if he took eclipses words truly to heart, he won't wanna get better. I think I love how Gemini handled this :) A character struggling to understand complex feelings, are feeling disappointment, pain, and hope for someone else. It's a beautiful relationship from a story perspective and I appreciate it.

Sure Lunar has his reasons for killing Eclipse but to be honest, Eclipse asked for a favour, not touching Lunar or hurting Lunar. Lunar did it out of anger and even said he would do he did it on purpose, Gemini was right, Lunar has been acting childish, but whenever he is treated like a child he gets angry. His emotions are confusing and he can’t handle certain things. He needed the talk, Gemini was the only one who had the guts to and it’s very much appreciated, Lunar is in fact Lucky Gemini still cares about him after what had happened so I hope it goes well but they are trying, especially from the first time Lunar lots control that must have been stressful just barely getting Lunar out of trouble so now this must be the most stressful and frustrating thing that could happen.

Fun fact for those who don't know.. age regressing, the thing Lunar sometimes experiences, if I recall correctly is either a comfort method or a *literal trauma response*, your brain wants to go back to the time when you were happy, when you were laughing and full of joy.. it wants to escape the torment and torture, the suffering that the present day may hold. I don't blame Castor and Pollux, and by proxy Gemini, for not knowing. But.. they are kind of being jerks about it.. Lunar messed up, big time, but hes already in a fragile mental state as it is.

Also, Lunar got told nothing but the truth. Yes, he was a victim of abuse, but that doesn't excuse his actions. What you guys are saying is almost equivalent to "Eclipse's choices were made because he has trauma and was left behind," which just isn't true. The choice Lunar made was irrational, and he decided to do it out of vengeance, as confirmed. Just because he has trauma doesn't mean he doesn't need to face consequences. Gemini was right about what they said, and yes, it may have been harsh, but it's what he needed to hear. It was about time he got called out for his behavior. And about Lunar getting killed, it may be sad, but he has only himself to blame. You all need to stop babying him.

The trauma he went through with eclipse ,before, and after he died, that's something that is very hard to just get over. when you want to do something about it, but you know you can't, so luner saw his way of getting his revenge on Eclipse after all the suffering that eclipse put him through

I understand that Lunar definitely needs this conversation and Castor, Pollux/ Gemini had some good points. Lunar does act like a child, and lunar is not the main character, but they came out a very bad time, and there are some things they don’t have the right to be talking about like lunar feelings towards eclipse yes they are complicated, but they can’t be talking when they barely understand the basic human emotions of happiness, sadness, anger, and disgust, and they probably don’t understand the sub genres of those emotions, and those sub genres have their own sub genres so on and so forth they were also very harsh with the conversation, and the name-calling was uncalled for again, they had good points, but they really should’ve waited a while before confronting lunar and they definitely shouldn’t have been so harsh

Lunar did what he did intentionally. He didn't lose control, he consciously focused his powers on Eclipse with intent to kill. He did it out of anger, but that still doesn't excuse his actions. Yes, Eclipse provoked him, i will say that much, but Lunar did not even try to practice any self control. He wanted Eclipse dead, and even said so out loud. He acted on impulse because he wanted Eclipse to know he was not bluffing. A warning shot should have been enough, but no, he straight up killed him out of cold blood. Lunar could have chosen to be the bigger person and not have done that.

He needs to understand that his actions have consequences. Just because someone is known to be cute doesn't mean they should be excused for cold-blooded murder, which is exactly what Lunar did. He killed Eclipse in cold blood. He could have practiced some self control in that moment. This Eclipse was innocent. He had some memories, but those memories were not his. This Eclipse was innocent, and Lunar murdered him because he wanted revenge. Revenge on someone who is already dead.

Well, it looks like what Eclipse said about the Astral Bodies coming and not being happy with Lunar is coming true.
