If he does come back, it has to be done in a way that doesn't remove the weight of him dying in the first place. It can't be as easy as 1, 2, 3 and he's back. If it was that easy then they could probably bring back KC or Monty's father. But those characters were more so plot devices. And yes, I'm not as emotional as most of you probably are and that's because I saw this coming.

Solar never deserved to die, though they will bring him back. Everyone needs him because Solar is always there when the family and everyone needs him and always helps a lot.
The heroic mechanic must come back, and he deserves better. At least better than this they will find a way to bring our beloved Solar back

I’m gonna say something completely controversial but I understand where Ruin is coming from, yes I am livid at Solar dying but now that my uh grieving process has calmed down a bit, I can see his point a bit better
Honestly same! Killing Solar made things personal, but in general the situation's a mess of greater vs. lesser evils and the morality of passivity; real "Trolley Problem" territory.

I love ruins character mainly because
When he does something wrong or if he hurt someone and someone gets mad he will accept his punishment.
Moon said he would take every ability away from him exept for speach and in this vid the only thing he could do was talk ( and watch anime) but he could not move.
Also his way of talking is polite yet making me uncomfortable and I love that.

I actually feel kinda bad for Ruin. I think he _does_ care about what he did to Solar, but isn’t great at showing it. He’s said himself that he’s a sociopath, which would explain why he doesn’t show it that much.
However, he _did_ say he tried multiple times to find a way for his plan to unfold without it killing Solar, but couldn’t find one. He was already so committed to his plan that he couldn’t just _not do it,_ but he didn’t just ignore the consequences either. He actively tried to find a way to save Solar.
Also, now that he’s completed his mission, he seems kinda numb? He has no real purpose anymore, and _doesn’t care if they kill him._ Part of it might be the fact that he’s fulfilled his purpose and doesn’t have any intention of doing anything else now, but I think at least part of it might be that he feels bad for what he did. He keeps implying how he doesn’t mind whatever they choose to do to him, because it’d be justified after what he did.
Except what would that achieve When they killed the eclipse the second time they had no choice he was dying already he did more than just alter peoples memories it affected golden too killing Ruin wouldn’t satisfy anything plus it wouldn’t achieve anything

One thing I don’t like about this entire situation is the double standards people seem to have towards the show’s antagonists.
Blood Moon has continuously hurt and killed people for no reason other than the fact that he enjoys tearing people apart, and Eclipse _killed Lunar,_ yet everyone is usually on their side with the mentality of “I know they’re evil, and enjoy hurting others, but they’re just misunderstood and I can’t help but love them!”
Meanwhile, Ruin painlessly kills one main character in order to do something he believes will save millions of other dimensions, and so many people’s immediate reaction is “ _KILL HIM, HE DOESN’T DESERVE TO LIVE!_ ”
I can’t help but think that if it had been Eclipse or Blood Moon, the fans wouldn’t have reacted quite so harshly.
I agree with you, and I don't think Ruin is as cold as people think. He committed a genocide of *unfathomable* proportions and killed someone who he was starting to see as family, but he knowingly did so to save millions of other dimensions. The way I see it, he knows that what he did was an unforgivable evil, but saw it as the lesser of two evils, and he's fully accepting the consequences for his actions. It's not that he doesn't have a purpose anymore, but rather that he has completely resigned himself to whatever the celestial family wants to do to him.

He knows what he did isn’t something they can ever forgive him for, and I think that to some degree, he can’t forgive himself either, even if he knows that the alternative would have been far worse, because he _did_ care for Solar.

The start of this gave me a good laugh, Sun getting into a rant about expensive products and making Earth Laugh made me smile, cheered her up in a way. Her interacting with Sun's cats was real cute too, but that aside.. Lunar seeing Ruin and talking to him was really something.
I knew he'd yell at him and what not, that was a fair thing to do considering what Ruin had done. Good on Lunar also keeping his powers under his belt during this too, he makes a good point too, how there are infinite possibilities in the universes of there being.. well, more universes with creators in it. The percentage may be really low, but that's still a percentage to worry about, but of course this universe's Creator is someone to definitely worry about first and foremost. Hopefully Sun and Moon can put a stop to them before they ever initiate their plan.
I hope Lunar is careful and he doesn't let anything Ruins says get in his head- he's already a threat to the astral-bodies :,)

Ok so this is just a theory-
What if Ruin gets a redemption arc after Solar comes back? Like sure everyone is extremely pissed at Ruin but y’all are ignoring the fact that he said “if I found a way to do this without solar getting killed I would do it” so my theory is when solar is back (probably-) he will cuss out Ruin but I feel like Ruin somewhat deserves a redemption arc- if Eclipse is getting one (somewhat-) then Ruin should to- Plus Ruin has a higher chance to be Redeemed than Eclipse-

I would like for it to go in that direction, Ruin is a sociopath, someone that thinks purely on logic. But, sociopaths can like people and get attached to people they particularly like. He alredy said once that he liked our main 5 at least a little, so it is possible.

I misread that as "Lunar _Comforts_ Ruin" and I was super confused XD
Ruin is right, in all technicality. The Creators were the most intelligent and dangerous parts of countless dimensions so, in trying to delay or stop them, he IS taking out the largest problem percent-wise.
Eclipses dont work together unless theyre forced and of the ones that surivive theres going to be those that end up redeemed or who were never mean to begin with.
Apparently the Stitchwraith himself only has 13 dimensional varients and one we know doesnt even actually fight.
And any other enemies we might know of either dont have dimensional variants or came about because of the actions of the former.
Ruin is right. He drastically decreased the amount of people with the MOTIVATION to cause these world ending problems. No cause, no effect. No motivation no outcome.
And the creators that still exist are either too stupid or stubborn to work together thus slowing progress. One person working in a finite space verses thousands gets you results slower and with the chance for many more errors.
Lunar has a right to be angry. He has a right to be sad because someone he loves was caught in the crossfire, but Ruin is still right and getting mad at him for not targeting every problem a universe could face is like getting mad at a heart surgen for not doing brain surgery. He targeted the biggest and most intelligent and won, and while its not morally correct it is correct based on percentages.
