Ryan has been friends with Chan ( The leader of SKZ ) since 2021 , They've been really close friends exchanging gifts and complementing each other. The funny thing is that marvel dosen't know about this collab. Both Ryan and Hugh willing decided to cameo on the M/V because they both love Straykids so much. Fast forward to now, both Hugh and Ryan are huge Stays, This collab was anticipated for stays for a while. Also Straykids will be featured in the new Deadpool and wolverine movie theough an OST ( original sound track )called "Slash" 🙏
Times of India noted in an article that Ryan wanted them in the movie, but the writer's strike made that 'logistically impossible' (google for the article).
This song is on the score for DeadPool 3, so - knowing Marvel (and we do, quite well - from decades with them regarding licensed tie ins and comics), they definitely got permission. I also don't see how if Ryan and Hugh asked, given their stature, that the permission would not have been given. We don't have to fear a DCMA notice.
This also has been in process for months, they filmed in NY in Mid May (I for one am enjoying figuring out the locations from the video. NYC is my home).
Now I want to figure out if I can get people at DragonCon next month to do Reels of the dance challenge. ;-) Looking forward to their dates in USA next year when they announce. Hopefully I can make a few, in and around our insane (lol) sci fi convention schedules.

Ryan Reynolds met Stray Kids through Felix's Deadpool screening in the Kingdom 2021, then Ryan Reynolds called Felix and thanked him for promoting his movie and gave him a gift of a mask and became friends with Stray Kids and then this beautiful collaboration happened.
@@StraykidsATE_8 If you didn't watch Radio Star's interview with Felix a week ago, don't discuss it with me... 🙃 I didn't say anything of my own....that's what Felix said. He literally said that Ryan called him and thanked him for promoting his movie and gave him a mask, and we all saw Felix in his pictures wearing that mask.

@StraykidsATE_8 Font delete your comment. Ryan reached out to both Chris and Felix around the same time. Chris has spoken of this several times, but someone wants to get technical then it was Chris who has been keeping in touch with Ryan and Hugh Jackman.

I like how that " kneel I 'm strong" part sounds like Neil Armstrong, which they also point out in the background with the astronaut on the moon.
The part right after until Chan's part comes up is my favorite. I like how they delivered the lines, and the beat, and how they showed and edited it.
I also like the combos in both choruses. I like the direction they chose to go for with vocals.
That sort of play on words/rhyming thing sort of reminds me of Aespa's Armaggedon, I'mma get em, I'mma get done

Trying to explain the entire friendship between Ryan and Bangchan/SKZ to this point is now several years worth of lore ahahaha - and then adding the Hugh Jackman of it all into the mix as well!
The car is painted like a metallic Deadpool. Its "Carpool."
Absolutely my new favorite SKz song. I cannot pick a favorite part. The chorus that each member delivers just a little differently...Bang Chan's "Fillin' up my truck" lines, Seungmin later putting his flair on them with that vibrato at the end of each, Binnie rolling those rrrr's....Felix in the very beginning starting us off with a "chk chk boom"....the whole thing is just absolutely catchy and fantastic and 100% Stray Kids at their best. Add in Deadpool and Wolverine, and this old school comic loving Marvel fangirl's heart was skipping throughout this entire MV.
Every Stay come here and show Roscoe major love.... this was like a happy pill to watch 🥰🥰🥰🥰🔥🫶🏾

At 1:45 and then the transition repeat at 7:10 did you notice the can Han throws up???????? It hangs mid-air while it’s just him & Chan then drops back to him when it transitions back to the group. This matches Lore theory where Han may control time.
FYI, When you see the the movie listen for one of the stray kids songs half way through the movie!

I love that you always let songs play all the way through and then play again, at which point you do your critique and reaction and give feedback. Others stop the song continuously to give feedback, which is so damn annoying. You can't get the full sense of songs when they are stopped every minute.

I just fell in love with the chorus from Chan, as well as the line he sang in the mashup video, as well as the dance of Minho and Changbin. They haven’t tried reggaeton yet, but they sound great. And the fact that Hugh and Ryan appeared in the video is not surprising; they have been communicating with Chan for a long time, and they have been supporting the work of Stray Kids for several years. Plus, the soundtrack from Stray Kids for the film Deadpool and Wolverine was released.
They had to film in silence outside in NY. People driving by that didn't know who they are were probably so confused.
Need to check out the "making of" this video and the friendship between them.
