@@nigelthornton7378 yes mate you will need to remove the whole stereo frame (as shown above). At 1:10 you can see a white plug, that's the hazard button. Are you saying you pushed yours until it fell in behind or you pushed it outwards? You might have damaged the frame or button.
Hi mate, I've just installed my head unit, bit of a test fit, it's a Pioneer head unit, I haven't got this harness yet so I'm aware that the steering wheel controls won't work but should this also stop Bluetooth working do you know? Looks like the head unit isn't making Bluetooth available, wondering if that will also be solved by this harness? Thanks again.
What navara is that, i live in america, got the pathfinder, has a different dash bezel and i hate it so, i want a dash bezel like yours or is the Australian variant different
Can confirm that this is standard ST model dashboardtrim in AUS after 2008. 2005 to 2008 had a small useless tray on top that was held in by 2 self snapping clips. Great for launching whatever is placed in it across the dashboard and into or out of the window.
Hi, i need a bit of advice if possible, i’ve got 2007 Nissan Navara and Pioneer SPH-DA230DAB a connects 2 harness, i’ve plugged it all in but the radio isn’t powering on, have you got any advice for that?
One of three wires have a problem, most common on that model is the earth wire (the black one) make sure it's connected to a clean chassis ground. Other than that your red or yellow power cables are not getting power so check the fusebox for any blown fuses.
Does this work for a steering wheel with controls only on one side? Other than an antenna adaptor, what other leads do I need? (For instance a blue tooth bypass plug) Cheers.
wow, and I was putting off replacing my hazard button because I thought it was a pain in the ass! Thank you for the upload.
Mine just fell through the dash. Was yours easy enough?

Great information on removing the dash trims, but i have to say that replacement unit you fitted looks blooming awful with the gap all the way round !
There’s a wiring loom that will not come out. Nothing to pinch. Can I force it out with a screwdriver? Thanks
What size screen can be fitted
Thankyou buddy was really helpful
Hi mate when I removed my Nissan Navara radio the cables don’t fit the new radio? Is there an adaptor I should have with it? Thanks

Afternoon, helpful video but what do you crimp the patch lead to? I'm fitting a kenwood with no jack and can't see where patch lead goes to
Cheers
To the brown cable that comes out of the kenwood. Should be tagged steering control.
Typical me, no brown wire. Blue/yellow remote control

All I know about the car is that it's a 2012 UK model, pretty much basic spec for those over here.

Thank you for the instructions. Do you know of any DAB Android working with the steering wheel buttons?
Did you find any issues with the ControlPro, I have done mine today going into a Kenwood and I can’t get the steering controls to work!

Hey, what about the extra connectors from the back of the oem radio? What happens to those? thanks mate - great vid!
Not needed on an aftermarket radio, just push them down the back so they don't get crushed.
PJs projects Had the same question, so just need the wiring loom adapter for steering wheel controls
