How To Install Stereo in a Nissan Navara D40 - Radio Install & Removal D40

Completely DIY this is one of the easiest installations you can do. This works for all model Nissan D40 Navara from 2005 to 2014 that DO NOT have the factory touch screen nav. Basically every D40 that has a similar dash.
Our kits use the built in steering wheel controls to make sure you can save $$$ and pre-program them yourself.

How did you get the reverse camera wire into the center of the car it's not easy to find a hole under the car I was expecting to show us how did you get it there

really good video. I have a D40 2007 Aventura. It already has a Sat Nav plugged in but I would like to change it. It has a built in screen also on the dash. is there anything on the market that I can buy and replace?

My 2014 Nissan Navara Tekna D40 radio is not working and needs to be replaced.Do you know what radio stereo system I could replace it with. The Navara has Sat Nav and a backup camera. I can’t seem to find one that could work.
I know it's a few years old now but I have the thai built with the bt module under the stereo and I'm using the bypass plug but I'm still not getting functioning steering buttons. My stereo is kenwood ddx9020dabs

what year model as that interior looks nothing like the interior of my Navara D40 also mine does not have steering wheel stereo controls so that makes it easier not that programing it was difficult in the vid

Boy, when I had my first car, about 60 years ago, I also put a radio in it, all by myself !
There were four cables ! Positiv, negativ, and a pair for the loudspeaker.
Those were the days !
No fuckin code to tip in, when you disconect the battery !
I forgot my code, so I was in big trouble ! That took me hours, what a waste !
No Bluetooth, what is that anyway ? No microphone, no UBS no CD' s, phone, no stupid rear camera, we used to turn our heads, going in reverse, can you beleave that ?
And a couple of radio stations who played real Rock and Roll, what else do you want ?

Hi, i'm just upgrading my radio and noticed the same problem, seems the steering wheel 'I' button to turn the trip computer on/off is decoded withing the nissan radio. lost that function now.
I don't have steering control switches for my head unit, so just ground pin17 of the original units main connector, its the steering controls gnd.

@@diogosilvaHD mine was a 2012 pathfinder, same head unit shown in this video. so if you google this it matched mine. Nissan Qashqai (2007-2011) CY13C Head Unit pinout

@@AutoChimp just figured it's built in and therefor there is no bypass. All functions on steering wheel are working through custom setting option.
I've just installed a Kenwood stereo using CCS's harness in a 2012 Spanish D40 ST. To confirm, you do not need to install a Bluetooth bypass. Just configurate the steering remote control settings within the unit to correspond with the steering wheel controls - the phone button will work doing this.
PS. CarbonCarSystems are awesome. They make the install so easy!
