God has been good since he has saved me bout 4 months ago even now as a 12 year old girl I'm not scared to stand up and say God has been so good to me and that I love him and will serve him for ever and do what I can to be a blessing. I know I have made some bad chocie when I wasn't save and even now I still make bad chocies but I know that he will always be lisenting to me when I pray and he will always forgive me no matter what I've done or where I've been. I Love the Lord with all of my Heart

@anglinry I think it may have been Walt Whitman who said he was not as concerned about where he was as the direction he was headed. Those are wise words indeed.
I am not a mennonite. I have been around Independent Baptists of several stripes for over thirty years. I know what I am talking about. You are right about my "jackass attitude." I have learned, however, that it is the thing that is sometimes needed among this crowd. It is what we are used to hearing. I understand the "young people" argument. It is the same argument others used to bring in CCM and "gospel rock." When yuo see your grandchildren rapping about Jesus, remember me.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this kind of worship.... they are giving God the glory and it is evident He is there. It is easy to form opinions, I do it alot and it is wrong.. I've been under excellent and TRUE preaching all my life, let them worship because ultimately God knows each and everyone of us and he knows if it is sincere or not. Proverbs 16:8-9 King James Version 8 Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right. 9 A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.

@anglinry Worship certainly is a wonderful thing. We both know where the verses are, and could both preach on it. We both also know of some times in the past where worship was not as infected with the musical elements of the world as they are today. I personally think we have confused worship with entertainment. SOMEBODY at some point has to draw their sword and declares, "ENOUGH!" Are you familiar with what I mean by "Philadelphian Church?"

It seems there is an idea out there that what passes for worship these days has to be fun and relevant and appealing in order for some version (or mutation) of Christianity to survive from generation to generation. I know kids who only go to church BECAUSE they like the mosh pit "worship" atmosphere, the tattooed and pierced pastor, etc. Some of them have even tried to "share Jesus" with my own kids! Mine know better.
i love the old time religon but i don't eserve what God gives to me i praise him foe that i HAVE been blessed thank you God!!!

Imagine that actual witnessing!! When was the last time you or your kids told someone about what Jesus did for you...
