I watched your and Mary Carls channel today and I was amazed at all the knowledge that Mary Carl had about all her different birds. I can certainly understand why you had to prompt her along as I know how nervous (or shy) I would be at her young age, and it's nice having her mothers support especially when she is just starting up a TH-cam channel.
Did you know, speaking of rocks, the corner Alabama, GA, TN, too, is the only place there’s painted agate rocks at least none found anywhere else. They are bright colors like colors in a crayon box and many colors together.

Always please yourselves with your choices! I also was dead set I wanted marble countertops as well until our designer schooled us about a few drawbacks with it. If you drop anything on it it can crack very easy and so will any glass object, obviously. Also marble stains from certain foods and drinks, especially wine. It requires some upkeep as well. We ended up going with quartz and it is beautiful! So just be sure to do your homework! Love you guys!

Mom taught me to use the cheap floor tile in the cabinets instead of the liner. It’s the tile that looks like the vinyl rugs we used years ago. It comes on 1’ x 1’ pieces. It is easy to cut. Just peel the backing off and put it down.

When I did I found out I love the Anjou best! It seems that liner is great for cast iron. I buy a plastic box for storage and use the deep side for the side with the most room and the lid for underpart where the pipes are. You can pull the box part like a drawer.

On bench tops, I thought either Mable or Granite. Then preference was likely Marble and as far as source was thinking Itallian Marble was on top of my thoughts, though without even being aware you have local Alabama source of such. So not surprised sourcing local, as imported would be way higher cost, and local is more in line with classic homesteading, that in normal form is completely based on local building material. Also tending to as cut form than highly processed "polished" form.
I found some that have the non skid on the back and slides on the top like the old type shelf paper. Love it. I think I found it at Walmart or big lots
Air Fryers are becoming very standard home appliances in past couple of years. Some are now double chamber and very sofisticated programmed modes. I have been tempted, but so far still stick with convection oven mode of my dual mode Microwave oven.
There is something that looks like marble but it doesn’t stain like marble. But today I saw some from Norway installed around the 1800’s that’s pink and ivory and it was still beautiful.
I love stone I have marble inlaid on my floors I love it I also have granite counter tops. Go with what makes you happy but me I like stone it’s so beautiful 😀😀😀😀😀
