Yes, back then GH had a very small town feel. Everyone knew everyone and I always had the impression that it was a more intimate place... then they started changing the opening to have Port Charles look like Manhattan.. and with that it lost a lot of it's charm IMHO.
I agree It was supposed to be small town near Buffalo. Then some writer decided to change it. The first time I noticed was Felecia talking to Roy and saying she could see where the Twin Towers used to be from her balcony. I yelled at my TV NO YOU CAN NOT!
That is so true.So many people,yet they all interacted. Kelly's was the place to be.Like a tiny Greenwich village, all kinds of folks sitting elbow to elbow. Enjoying the specials. Getting in some gossip.And The floating rib.Always something going on. So many things revolved around the hospital. If the walls could talk in that cafeteria. Now you just see styrofoam coffee cups being held in the hallways on a bench.No more cafeteria . The sets were nice and light but cozy. No owners like Rose and Joe hanging out. No one walking straight back to the kitchen for a chat. I miss that. Thank you suss We can watch all the best ones on here .xo

It is a chrysanthemum. Many colleges have them in their team colors for the ladies to wear at homecoming. They adorn many homes in the fall. It must be a southern thing. Apparently, Alex is getting into the football spirit. 😃
