I don't know how anyone else feels, but the first time around I watched these clips, I thought the landlady was pretty funny. She was a decent actress, and did the part justice. She always cracked me up.

I genuinely want the GH soundtrack from this year to play throughout my life. Like that fiendish music that plays-- the guitar I think?-- whenever something nefarious or threatening is said. LOVE IT.

Good times for sure, but the left handed boy saga will always be the best for me. Laura's discovery of her love for Luke makes that whole storyline all the more sweeter. The sticky door era is more like the greatest hits, because now Laura already knows she loves him forever, its just the trick of getting him back that creates the tension.
Probably the best example of Laura taking care of herself, on her own. Taking that apartment, material things mean less to her now. People mean more. Luke changed that in her, so did that old couple they met.
Laura Gooden Balding, 😂😂. The land lady was too funny. Even the extra's back then were thought out well. The land lady even had her own little scheme. 💕 She had a heart. I am surprised about Scott and the quick divorce because soon this subject will be very different. I didn't remember this part.
Brian also had a front row seat to how Scotty treated Laura in their marriage. He was bossy and controlling and even forgot to get her a card or a present for their first anniversary. Laura did really try with Scott, but he gave her nothing. He even fell asleep while she was trying to tell him the truth about the rape.

I remember back in 1980 my mom always used to comment on how she had no comfortable furniture in her apartment. That wicker love seat doesn't look very comfy, of course that's about the only seating she had in her and Scotty's apartment too.
Wicker is not comfortable at all! I copied Laura and got a wicker couch for my first apartment. Regretted it the first day, not even the cushions helped. LOL
Terri Coleman I did too in 1988. Pier 1 had wicker furniture and I bought the whole set for my den. NOT. It eventually ended up on my deck for BBQ's outside. The furniture was great for outside, but the sun in Las Vegas eventually beat it to death and I had to throw it away, it lasted for over ten years. Great scratching posts for my cats. 🐈🐾🐾
Laura needs to sell those dang law books, that would give her lots of money. Also the bed cause there is no room for that in her new apartment. Take the wicker set and maybe the table and chairs and the curtains.
It's not really in the ceiling though directly overhead... more an extension upward of the window... the top floor just must not be as big as the lower ones! lol
