Ups & downs of “What to Make Next Department”… It’s nice to know all (most ??) of us try to make a project work, and then arrrgggh…!! Depending on how stubborn (determined) I am in the moment, I always try again. Too many disappointments and I’m off to find/make a completely different thing. Of which I have many, many lists … so I’m always ready!!! hahaha

The yarn you picked for the "Love note" looks gorgeous! Also, in my opinion always, that loose gauge is different from the previous one. The previous one looked wrong, this one looks fluffy, so I think it will look fine! The new merino sock yarn you found looks also good and it comes in so many colours! I do wish they will sponsor your videos, why not? Looking forward to seeing your progress on the new sweater 🥰🧦🧶

Hi Tina thanks for another great vlog. Love the purple sock yarn in fact I loved all the yarn smith sock yarns you showed, but I just cant buy anymore just yet lol as I have to use up what I have first😄 I like your pretty red scarf too and using up your nords scraps to make another is a great way to save them.

Best way I’ve found to stop curling is an icord edge. I use it on scarves and all my blankets. Love visiting as always Xxxx Deb South Australia

If you’d like a striped scarf that does not roll perhaps you could check the okapia scarf by Witre Design :) It’s a very simple scarf that comes in two widths. I made a skinny version but there’s also a wider one in the pattern. Hope that helps! 😊

I made an order for the Yarnsmith sock yarn yesterday. Ruth loves to knit was using it and said how nice it was. She enabled me to buy a pattern too 😂 I have never tried the love note so look forward to seeing how you get on x

I made a love note with a very cheap yarn and I LOVE IT! I omitted one lace row because it was going to hit my bust line (not good for me). It's a lovely pattern, I recommend it 110% Good to know the clutch it's fixed, my husband is right now changing one of my car's tire, it got stabbed yesterday 😫😫😫. Fortunately it's under warranty. Sending lots of good vibes ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

I recently made a scarf using whistlebear yarn I made the fine vine Lace scarf the pattern comes with the yarn- I’ve made 4 actually for my mother and daughter,s and niece so this is my fifth one!
Whistlebear uses their own Wensleydale sheep 🐑 and goats 🐐 wool and silk mohair. It’s gorgeous!

Hi Tina, I too love wool Warehouse and I did get excited that they have now have their own sock yarn but unfortunately I need to resist the temptation to purchase more as I have a few different brands to get through, but I am using their own aran and dk and I find them very nice to use. Another good video as usual oh and I must say I blame you for one of my purchases the book you made vixen from I couldn't resist it, that's for my winter projects, can't wait to see how the jumper works out I'm tempted I've never done an actual garment in the round one day I might brave it.
Hopefully seeing me work through the pattern will give you confidence to try it. Good luck knitting your animal friend later in the year . That will be a lovely winter project. I wonder who you will knit 😃

Always good to see you Tina! I need to figured out my sweater knitting. I have a problem where even if I size down needles, appear to get gauge, even knit a size down, my sweaters end up so baggy and boxy, and I’m not a tiny person! I may need to bite the bullet and learn how to add waist shaping (I prefer a fitted look also) and maybe avoid superwash wool.
That's strange, I only use super wash wool and mine don't seem to grow . Personal question but do you have a larger bust . You may be better off going by your upper bust measurements. Right under your armpits. I'm not busty but I'm pear shaped so I have small shoulders and ribcage . Because of this I don't go too big for my bust because it will be too big everywhere else . I hope that makes sense. Also it's worth trying on when you have split for Sleeves to check how wide it is . I hope some of this is helpful. Also do you try it on before blocking? Is the blocking the issue ?
@@Simplyinstitches I am indeed busty. It's funny because I'm short, but fairly broad shouldered and buxom. In store-bought tops I usually have to get a large, but I end up swimming in most of the sweaters I make. I usually try on while the sweater is in construction, pre-blocking and post. I'm not sure what it is I'm doing, but maybe measuring the bust underneath the "girls" would be a good place to start.
Another very curvy girl here who's under boob measurement is 10" less than the full one! I have found that the best fit is to pick the size of my full measurement with no positive ease, this gives me positive ease else where but not enough to drown me.
Hello! I’m actually having trouble with your cowl pattern from 3 yrs. ago, the lovely fan/ feather one. I cast on 170 sts. after doing row 3 of the lace section, it added 20 sts. which doesn’t work with the pattern the next time I do row 3. Any help would be appreciated.
