Ein Feuerwerk! Magische Momente beim Live Konzert!
Die Grösse ist wichtig. Das international besetzte Trio Grande heisst nicht umsonst so - schließlich will das Ohr des Publikums stets weit mehr drei Musiker ausmachen, wenn sich der in den USA lebende britische Saxofonist Will Vinson, der ebenfalls dort gemeldete israelische Gitarrist Gilad Hekselman sowie der gleichzeitig Bass und Schlagzeug spielende Amerikaner Nate Wood miteinander austauschen. Diese drei Virtuosen verstehen sich auf die Kunst der Verzahnung, der Verdichtung, darauf, aus einem Minimum das Maximum zu holen
Hekselman, Vinson und Wood entwickeln da Stück um Stück ein Geflecht von Stilzutaten, von Linien und kleinen Motiven, von Akzenten und Patterns - aus jeder Nummer entsteht ein heftig pulsierender Organismus. Diese drei Individualisten auf ihren Instrumenten, die alle schon mit Gott und der Welt gespielt haben, sind zusammen eine eingeschworene Einheit, die nicht zu trennen mag: das Trio Grande eben.
