Ranger sells a Gel Plate storage tin that is thin and large. I can put 24 Gansai watercolors or a second layer to make 48. I also store my 31purplefish that can store 100 full to 200 singles.
Thank you for sharing the Natural Earth Paint link. Very unique especially for the artist who has everything. Definitely going to be purchasing something from them. Not that I need more paint but making my own watercolor has interested me for a while. Will love to watch a video when you get around to trying these. Also forgot I had the masking powder. I better move that to an area more in my immediate view. Also a fan of Beam Paints. Again, very unique for an artist who has most everything and I love supporting the company.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! I think making my paint will have to wait till after the holidays. It looked like a lot of fun and the owner is very nice! The masking powder can be a little tricky but I really enjoy experimenting with it. I just saw Beam paints is having a black friday sale - 30% off. It may end today, though. 😊
With the Frixion pens, I've used them on fabric (what they were designed for). When used on fabric, sometimes they reappear of the fabric gets very cold. I'm not sure if the same applies when they are used on paper. Something to check.

How did you seal the alcohol ink on the tins? Did you have to prep the surface? I have those tins you have your gansai in, and I want to make them pretty.
Here'a video of about the process - What's in the cute little boxes? Rehoming my Gansai Tambi watercolor set. th-cam.com/video/5spI6VcLFEk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=aLE2lZ5kq4Hf9ho4 I think it covers all your questions. 😊

@@AleksdeArt I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching! ❤️
I enjoy the variety, might have to get myself some holiday gifts. Your voice is also really soft, a lovely added bonus.💖

I will keep that in mind. I have had problems with a purple dissappearing pen, on fabric years ago. I didn't realize these worked on fabric! 😊
The frixion ink re-appears if you put whatever you wrote in in the freezer!
That's interesting - like dissappearing secret message ink from my childhood! 😊
I could not find the amazon link to the tins you painted for your gansai tambi? Can you link it for me? Great stuff here! Thanks!

Thank you for linking! Great idea for these and I love the way you painted the tops…❤️
Thanks! It was fun to match the paint inside with a different medium on the covers. ☺️
