When you two were laughing, it sounds pretty witchy, so maybe you should add this in in future episodes at purpose 😂
The cackle you two let out after Willow's "bunch drugs" line was 100% made better by the audio echo!😂😂
The reason that Vamp Willow came through is that our Willow ended up pouring the sand over her own hand instead of the plate with the picture of the necklace on it. So instead of retrieving a necklace the spell retrieved a Willow. Presumably Vamp Willow appeared in the factory (where she had been in the Wishiverse) instead of where they were because Anya broke the plate, though it could just be becsuse the plate was only for the necklace.

I saw the thumbnail. I clicked. I saw the intro. I turned down the volume of my headphones because of the warning. OMG! Was soooo NOT as bad as you thought it was!! It was a fantastic reaction. You did it justice for sure. Hit all the points and of course just your humour amongst yourselves. Love it.
I think the audio echo was perfect for this particular episode. Kind of a Doppler effect in Dopplegangland!

I think the whole Cordelia Wesley storyline with the grown up wardrobe was just to prime the audience for seeing her as an adult in preparation for the jump to Angel and the more mature theme there, whereas the Scooba got to be 'college kids' for a little longer

This episode is definitely one of the best of the series. Everyone was so on point, the writing was great, the Willows were dynamic. I loved good Willow's unbreakable sweetness (try not to kill anybody). The sound didn't bother me at all, I barely noticed it.
Little orange cats make everything okay.🥰 And the audio is slightly goofy but nowhere near horrible 😂 let's do this!!

... I just watched another reactor watch "Shadow" yesterday. I've seen the show the entire way through many times, and this is the first time I realized that the woman who dies in the bronze here is the same Sandy that Riley lets bite him in S5! Same actress... Same everything. Somehow I feel even worse for her now, knowing how it's going to go for her.
What a marvel of an episode!
The premise, the dialogue, the character development(even the secondary characters), the beginning of the Mayor/Faith relationship and of course, Anya.
Although played for laughs, the horror and grief of Buffy and Xander when they see Vampire Willow is profoundly touching.
But...a dozen or more witnesses saw "Willow" murder a girl in cold blood...how did Willow not get arrested? That's a little forgetful even for Sunnydale residents.
well the girl was murdered in a supernatural way so I don't think calling the cops to have her arrested would have done much good and being a resident of Sunnydale, you'd probably figure this out. Also, the cops would not come, not that the people would realize this, but they are probably all bought by the mayor
I was really worried when you gave your explanation, but to me, it wasn't that bad. I enjoyed the reaction as usual.
The sound wasn't that bad. The way you were talking in the intro I thought it would be really horrific. but it was perfectly listenable. This was such a fun ep, I knew sis would love all the jokes.

I think this was another great episode from S3 and always a fan favourite with 'Vampire Willow' back again great foreshadowing here too , and great comedy moments too when Willow puts on the sexy leather outfit and looks so awkward trying to act tough and evil. The fight scenes from S3 onwards improve so much you can see the show getting slicker and more polished. Funny scene too with Anya and D'Hoffryn when she says I'm stuck at Sunnydale High, and then says to barman 'I'm over 1100 years old give me a frigging beer'. Great reactions again to the last two 'Double Bangers!' I can see how you guys are now really appreciating the quality of writing and storylines as the series progresses. BTW regarding Wesley and Cordelia we have to remember Cordelia is now 18, and Wesley is not a teacher at the school, so all very legal and OK. However it was never explained how Wesley as an unauthorised person was able to just float around the school at will. That being said, even though he was not liked by fans at first, he proves to be a much loved and brilliant character in The Buffyverse. BTW the audio did not spoil the reaction at all, great reaction as usual.
Chiming in to say I have heard way worse sound issues! It was all good. After a few seconds, I hardly noticed it at all. I was too busy enjoying your reactions to everything. 😊
Loved your reaction! I'm so glad Bel enjoyed it. This is definitely a classic episode with SO MANY funny lines. I'm not sure how I'd rate every episode of Buffy, but this one is for sure up super high on the list.
I just thought of a fanfic plot where instead of sending vamp willow back to the alternate world, they do the gypsy soul spell on her and keep her in their reality.
I wish (no pun intended) we got more episodes of evil Anya she was a fun villain

well we kind of get a few, sort of, in season 6. After Xander leaves her she sort of goes back to her evil ways, or at least tries to. There's also an ep which focuses on her backstory and how she became a vengeance demon in the first place.
When you first said that you F-ed up, I was expecting you to say that you mentioned something to her that you should not have mentioned.
When you said it was a double mic issue, my immediate thought was "oh thank God".
And yes we accept the kitten as a peace offering...... after all, Clem would 🤭. Only we would love him, not eat him ( or use him as currency) 🥰

I love this episode! The only flaw is my disappointment in the vampires at the Bronze. That was clearly not vampire Willow from the second she waved "hi. I'm back". I'm embarrassed for Anya and the vamps not noticing the difference immediately.
they eventually figured it out and vamps are not the sharpest tool in the box.

Nothing about the audio quality was unwatchable. And honestly, I was multitasking while it was on and I didn't notice until I was like half way through the vid.
