    OMG I love the treadmill, hope it will come to Germany someday, too.

    I hope you got the extended warranty. After 6 months of ownership, tread doesn't work. Error code says to insert Safety Key - which we did, and unplugged and plugged back in, did a factory reset too. Either way, after an hour of waiting on the phone, an hour of waiting online, and one hour in the chat, they agreed to send a technician. Well, not really. They said a technician would email me to set up an appointment.... Five days later no email. I contacted them twice, they said they will email. One more day, no email. And that's where I am.
    * I do like the Tread. But the costumer service has been horrific at best. And the fact, after just 6 months, it is broke is mind boggling.

    May I ask something about the noise; I heard that yes the motor running by itself may be slightly louder than average, however cheaper treadmills don't absorb the pounding of feet nearly as well. Could you confirm this? Is seems like when you were running I didn't hear your steps at all. This is important to me because I live on the 10th floor and don't want to get in trouble with the people underneath me.

      I have a pelaton thread. I personally think it is not as loud as people make it out to be and a huge plus is you don't hear the stomping from a regular treadmill belt. I actually have it in one of the rooms in my house and my wife tells me she doesn't hear me with the door closed. The only thing she can hear is the music since that is decently loud.

    How tall our your ceilings? Trying to determine if my basement ceilings (which are just under 8 ft high) will be high enough for the tread.

    Hi Chris! Paleton says that a mat is not required under the Treadmill- what was your experience? I have wooden floors and don’t want my neighbors to know that I am using the tread. Please suggest. (Delivery ETA is mid-November and I want to be prepared before the delivery arrives)

    Does your screen wobble? Mine does during walks and runs. Base legs are balanced and I’m on hardwood floors.

    Were you upset that you purchased the tread + instead of basic tread? I’d love to see a comparison of basic vs. + model. I have the + model and I was slightly upset when I saw a tread offered at half the price, but I like the slots vs. the band the cheaper model has.

      I’m definitely more of a runner and my wife is trying to get into running. So far we love it! It’s big and loud but awesome!

    Yeah. When I had mine delivered last month the guys straight up told me it was the first one they had delivered and put together. They watched the peloton TH-cam video of assembling it.

    Why doesn’t the Tread show the speed and incline call-outs like the Peloton Bike? Is this a setting issue on my end?

    Thoughts on length?? It doesn’t look as long as most treads, but it may be that there is no motor cover on the front.

    • @electricchris
      @electricchris  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The belt is 67 inches long. It looks like most commercial treadmill belts are 60 inches long. So it’s pretty long and good for longer strides.

      Trust me I want one! But my volt is still working perfectly. I’m sure I will talk my self into buying one sooner or later.

    Did the delivery guys remove the boxes for you? They refused to take all the big boxes when my Tread was delivered.

    Can you tell how the slats & base compare to other treadmills? More shock-absorbing? I have a hip that gives me problems when I run on my older tread, so I walk. Would love to get back to running though.

    • @electricchris
      @electricchris  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The slat belt is very comfortable to run on and definitely softer than a traditional running belt.

    Hi, is the tread already assembled before they bring it inside your home?

    • @electricchris
      @electricchris  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. They have to attach the arms and the screen. Took about 20 mins.

    Congratulations!!! I thought you was going to wait on the new tread?

    • @electricchris
      @electricchris  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We couldn’t wait. My wife has taken up running and really wanted one and I really wanted to supplement my peloton bike workouts with some running. I still think it’s a good idea to wait a little longer to see if the new cheaper one comes out. Especially if it’s a little smaller.

    • @makaiyasdaceus971
      @makaiyasdaceus971 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Electrifying Chris I’m trying to wait. I’m hoping they announce it this year. Until then I will stick to the bike and wait for there announcement or your Peloton updated video

    Do you know how to connect an iphone so you can play apple music from the phone to the Peloton? I can't figure it out. Thanks in advance

    • @electricchris
      @electricchris  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately there isn’t a way to do that. You can do a scenic ride and use the headphones with your phone though and just turn down the peloton.
