Congratulations on your Tread! I made the purchase after the price hike; Treadmill arrived last Wednesday and the Bike+ arrived on Thursday. I bought the complete package for the Treadmill. I did purchase the Peloton Guide today.
Yes, the price was a bit steep; however, after a lot of research I decided to make the purchases. I’ve always been physically active; I had a gym membership since getting out of college so for 20+ years; however, the past few years I let my gym membership lapse. The main reason was sauna was restricted at my gym. I would sit in the sauna before and after my workout.
Since I was already doing some of my workouts at home, I just went ahead and did them all. For cardio I hopped on my mountain bike, walked, or used the indoor bike I purchased during the shutdown. My daughter was also a member so the cost of our gym membership was a little over $100 monthly. Life has been busy and so I’ve been working out at home. I have weights at home, so I’m just filling out the missing cardio portion. My daughter and I changed one room in our home to a workout room, and we’ve been using both daily. I’m very happy with the purchases, not too thrilled about the price; however, they will get used several times weekly. There is no chance of them collecting dust.
With the Treadmill, the two gentleman that setup it up, did the calibration for me. With the Bike+, the techs had me do that, which was not a problem. My favorite treadmill instructor, thus far, is Susie Chan.
I can definitely see how it would still be worth the purchase in your case. It’s just such a shame that they decided to increase the price so much. It really is a sturdy treadmill, I have definitely been loving it. I also love that it doesn’t look too bulky like other treadmills.

@@SaraElBaff That was a huge selling point for me, besides the classes; its appearance and it is sturdy. I liked that most of the parts were made of metal. The same can be said with the Bike+. Peloton Guide arrives today; I purchased that more for my daughter since free weights have been the primary way I've ensured I've stayed in shape since college. However, I'll be checking it out, also.
I'm definitely keeping the company on my radar, more shake-ups with the company, which I anticipated. I'm sure a lot of us did. I hope we see a price (lower) change with the equipment/subscription once the leadership is in place to bring new people on board. Also, I'd love to see even more features!

Do they have walking class on the treadmill? Is the treadmill loud? I live in an apartment.
Yes they have a multitude of classes. It’s not as loud as the average treadmill but still does make some noise
Hi! I recently had my Peloton Tread delivered. I noticed that when I am just standing on the belt, trying to navigate through the touchscreen every few seconds I hear a loud click noise from the right middle side. Any idea what this could be? Is it normal? Thanks for any assistance you could give :)
Hi! They did let me know upon delivery that I might hear clicking for the first few rides but that will go away and it did after about 5 rides. It’s the belt where it meets will take a few rides to smooth it out. If you’re worried I’d call peloton customer assistance they’re super helpful

That’s exactly what I was thinking - they say you should leave at least 6 to 12 feet behind you, but I know that’s not practical and a lot of homes, and certainly not in mine
