I'm not sure if someone else has mentioned this but, when I make cookie dough I always roll it into balls and put the balls on a cookie sheet and put it in the freezer. Once they are fully frozen I transfer them to a ziplock bag. They last months this way and you can make 1 or 2 or 6 at a time. It's very convenient

More onion tips if you are interested: Rinse the onion after peeling it and burn a candle next to you while chopping it.
Tried it and never noticed a difference unfortunately
I read on Pinterest putting bread in your mouth helps with the "tears" when chopping onions, I haven't tried it coz I don't like onions but it might be worth a try.
We are also in a heat wave. And it is so super humid like now it is 94 but heat index is 103 and it’s 11:15 am it was hot when I left for work at 6:30 am lol
