Allison I absolutely love this motherhood era you’re in you are literally a walking ray of sunshine & your excitement for baby boy radiates through and through it’s so heartwarming 🌞💙 I love your channel so much it’s a piece of peace and joy that I can escape to whenever! 🥰
For the zucchini bread, when you grate the zucchini, put it in a tea towel or paper towels and squeeze the water out. That will help with the moisture in the mixture 🥰
I was just going to say the same! That's why your bread was kind of soggy looking, just too much water in the zucchini. Good luck on the next one! Love zucchini bread sm ❤
It is so wonderful to see a pregnant woman not ashamed of her body. We were always embarrassed and hiding under huge tent like clothes and yes even overalls. Times sure have changed and its wonderful to see!!!♥
Hi Allison! Not sure if anyone else has mentioned or if you have already researched carseat safety, but babies (especially in the first weeks/months) shouldn’t spend long periods in a carseat like the Doona. Where i live they say 1 hour intervals because its not the best position for small babies. Definitely recommend getting a proper stroller, i have the Noordi and am going ti get an out n about for our second, they are great for walks in nature etc!
For that sweet lamp you need to go to your local hardware store and buy the harp that will fit the lamp. It’ll be so sweet in the baby’s room. Dorene Weiss
I have worried about you and your little family. So happy that you and your little boy are ok. Congrats on his birth. Thankful everything is ok and he is healthy. Can’t wait to see you Brandon your son and Palmer.
The BOB stroller!!!! Hands down the best strolller. I have 3 kids. We went thru many brands. Bob wins, especially if you are outdoorsy. The shock system and off road "bike" tires make your travels with the bean unlimited. Worth the cost.
Really enjoyed this vlog! Lamp parts & kits are sold in hardware stores & will help complete the lamp. Also, some zucchini bread recipes say to wring the liquid out of the shredded zucchini by twisting it in a kitchen towel. Wondering if less moisture would lessen cooking time. It looked delish!
You’ll use the doona on a daily basis. I promise you. The convenience of not having to take a baby out of a car seat, to put them in a stroller is a big win. I still recommend a big stroller for occasional use. We have the Cybex Gazelle which has the option to grow into a double stroller. It’s beautiful, great quality and versatile! We used the doona until baby was about 8 months because he stopped fitting in it and then transitioned to the cybex gazelle after that. We also have the Thule jogging stroller for hikes. Hope that helps ☺️
Just had our second baby after 10 years and will say the Doona is great for everyday car use and rolling easily into restaurants. I bought the Mockingbird for our long walks, zoo trips, etc. I love that it turns the baby toward you and as they get bigger you and easily flip it around. I also love the leather detail and how you can pick the color and design of the inside!
Yes - my elderberry is the healthiest fastest growing plant out of everything I put in my yard! Everyone should get one! I can’t wait to make the syrup!
I have two strollers, the Mockingbird and the Thule Urban Glide. The Mockingbird is fantastic and has a bassinet attachment, which I HIGHLY recommend. I loved seeing baby girl be able to stretch and move instead of being cooped up in a car seat (we also have an attachment that is compatible with our carseat for on-the-go). The Thule is an excellent lightweight heavy-duty stroller that I take on hikes. I've used it on the beach too, and it worked wonderfully. They are both and I definitely do not regret having two separate strollers.
The doona has been fantastic for our young, traveling family. And the Nuna TRIV has been the perfect complement for all the daily use cases you mentioned 💖
Allison you look so pretty in pink like Barbie😍🩷. Your son is going to love your beautiful home. Wishing you all the best for July thank you for being such a light✨️!
Ahh Allison!! I love this so much and I am so obsessed with your content and I loved your baby shower video so much and it was so sweet. You are so inspiring and such a beam of light. I can’t wait to see you step into motherhood with your baby boy and I know that you will be the best mother. You are so fun to watch and I love your day to day life. Ilysm and I hope you’re having an amazing day 💕
If you plan on going on long walks with the baby I would recommend a bassinet/pram type since its not good for the baby to be in a carseat type stroller for too long. They need to stretch their little backs ❤️
I always look forward to your videos! You really inspire me & I look up to you so much 🥹 Your filming, camera quality, thumbnails (the way you design them, one can tell how much time you put into it), choice of music and editing never cease to amaze me 🤍 Your dedication towards your channel is unmatched 🩵
We used a baby sling carrier a lot for walks and hiking with our son around the beachfront areas and daily walks on the beach. Baby carrier/slings are lovely and both mum or dad can use them. They're fantastic and very easy to use. It keeps baby held close to your body and a beautiful way to bond with them.❤😊
We were gifted a really nice jogging stroller with off road tires with our boy! It was the baby trend jogging stroller! I loved it, but recently invested in a wagon instead and I wish I would have just gone with the wagon from the get go! It’s so handy for toting around kiddos and having the room for the diaper bag, and other essentials! I would highly highly recommend looking into the wonder fold instead of just a regular stroller!! ❤
Allison, I am only 18 years old and I don't have any kids so, don't take my words without doing research but I still want to give my suggestion for your everyday stroller. My parents always bought Graco strollers and loved them. I was the first child born so, my mom started off with a one seated stroller. She used it pretty much everyday for two years even during our winters and we have snow where I live. Afterwards, my brother was born so, they bought a double seated stroller and used it everyday for minimum five years but my parents still kept there one seated stroller. When my brother grew we stopped using our double stroller except me for walks with my dolls. But for the one seated, we stilled used in the spring because until the age of 11 I was always really sick during spring. So, I would still go in the stroller and no its not a joke. A few years, later the double seated stroller broke with all the weight of me and my brother plus me using it everyday in the summer months for my dolls. It just wasn't good anymore but for the one seated stroller I continued using it for my dolls until last year because it wasn't good anymore. All this to say, I believe the Graco strollers are quite good and who knows maybe someday you will have a daughter that will want to use the strollers for her dolls as well.
For a daily, all purpose stroller I cannot recommend the UppaBaby Vista more. It’s extremely sturdy, made of quality material. Can grow with you as your family grows. It also comes with a bassinet attachment which was a game changer for our long walks outside when baby was younger than 8mo. Please look into it!
You can get the base and harp part of the lamp at Walmart or basically anywhere. It just goes on before the bulb and then you can put on the lamp and screw it down. Even though the lampshade is a little large it’s super cute!
Honestly, my babies don’t even like their strollers until they can sit up in them. Those first three months, they just like being carried (I highly recommend the Solly Baby for newborns and the Wildbird Aerial once they get a little bigger). In my opinion, a stroller is a good thing to buy once you get to know your baby a little bit. I spent a bunch of money on strollers while pregnant and both my kids ended up preferring an Evenflo Pivot that a friend gave us. So definitely remember that you can wait on some of those bigger purchases because you WILL have time to make them later!
We love our doona! But I use the mockingbird stroller for daily walks and such. It’s nice because it can turn into a double stroller eventually if you need it to. It’s also reasonably priced compared to other luxury strollers
LOVE the BOB stroller for walks & anything outdoors and then the baby jogger city select single to double for traveling (with 2 kids) and errands running shopping etc.
Our uppa baby vista is our favorite! Great durable wheels great for camping and dirt! We also have our second due in September and it has so many options for double stroller or a “skateboard” for our son to ride on while the baby is in the stroller 😊🩵💛 love your videos! So excited for you guys and this upcoming chapter!
@@ALLISONBICKERSTAFF We have the UppaBaby Vista as well and LOVE it!! It has grown perfectly with our family & all three of my kids are able to use it thanks to the skateboard attachment! 😄
Mom of 5 here and I strongly suggest the Bugaboo Donkey especially if you plan on having another in the next 3 years or so. It’s the most versatile stroller I’ve ever used and converts from a single to a side by side double that fits through standard doorways. I tried 9 different stroller brands before finally caving and paying the extra for Bugaboo and then stuck with it for over ten years. I owned the Fox as well as the Donkey and have since converted all of my friends who had other brands and were always eyeing my Bugaboos. And I know it’s just aesthetic but I also love changing out the canopies seasonally. They have such cute colours. You really do get what you pay for as far as quality and nothing comes close to Bugaboo imo ❤
Allison, You are so whimsical in everything you do! I love all your recent videos and crafts you are doing!! I can’t believe how fast this journey has gone for you, and I’m sure you are overwhelmed with excitement to meet your baby boy! 🩵🥰
Hi Allison you look amazing and so happy for both of you. Can’t wait to see the baby room ones it’s all done . Tfs truly enjoy watching your videos. ❤❤❤
Hi Allison! We have a Doona that we love and you will get a lot of use out of yours. My son is almost 13 months old and we still use it but will be upgrading soon. The Doona travels so well and I recommend you getting the doona travel case. It's very easy to fly with and has held up well for us. We also have the Uppababy vista v2 with bassinet. The bassinet was perfect when my baby was a newborn, for long walks. (Make sure to get the screen cover to protect little one from pesky bugs) We also have the BOB revolution B-Flex 3.0 jogging stroller. We use that now for walks and love it! Hope that helps!
We loved the Peg Perego stroller, they have many different models. That little space would make such an adorable magical cozy book & toy space for when your son is a toddler 💖
Stroller recommendation is hands down the BOB jogging/running stroller (I know it’s not “cute” but it’s functional). I use this stroller the most over any strollers I have (I have the UPPABABY Vista which I love but it just sits in the car). I use my BOB literally everyday. I take it on runs and walks and it’s just so good for any terrain. The Doona will be good until baby can fit in the BOB (around 6 months or when he can hold his neck up by himself). I had so much more freedom to go on runs and walks after my baby turned 6 months and it was amazing! Congratulations again Allison!
Love our doona and we have the Uppa baby with two seat attachment option and you can get a bassinet and little scooter attachment! It’s so nice for long walks and much smoother for walks than the Doona and has room to grow since it is a bit of an investment ❤️
we lovvvvve our Nuna stroller. I think ours is the MIXX? we also have their travel stroller which is MAGICAL!! but another option I would’ve bought would be a Mockingbird stroller!
The bugaboo donkey is what I used & I LOVED it. It converts from 1 to 3. You can make it a double seater with a skateboard seat attachment. It's not practical for loading and unloading into the car OR getting on disney busses. -BUT- its GREAT for walks bc it's so light to push. You can literally push it with 1 finger. Also, your baby or babies will be extremely comfortable in it no matter their age.
We LOVE our UppaBaby Vista V2!! It has grown perfectly with our family over the years & it is perfect for all three of our kids to use at the same time! Couldn’t recommend it enough. 😊
Great idea to store a stroller there! I suggest the Thule Urban Glide for long walks/runs/all terrain. It was amazing. So smooth and went over everything with ease. Used it until our child was 5, and bought it second hand. Sold it again when we were done, and got the price we paid for back to us, because that’s how great they are. Zero loss and great use
Hey Allison! Absolutely love your videos!💗 I’m not sure if anyone has already mentioned this, but Lowe’s, Home Depot and I’m sure others carry very affordable adaptors that allow you to be able to use your adorable lamp shade with that lamp. You can even choose what metal you’re looking for! I hope this helps!!
Love your videos. One suggestion for zucchini bread is to add a little salt to draw the water out. This could be the reason for it being too moist. Just a suggestion.
You can get lamp shades for smaller lamps that do fi over top of socket and do not have a lamp harp. Check the inside of the shade and ask a store clerk. World Market and Target have tons.
Love zucchini bread! I would recommend it wringing out your shredded zucchini in a cheese cloth because they carry so much water. It can make a really wet bread! Also recommend combining zucchini and banana 😋
Dear Alison..you radiate happiness 😊. . I tip I have written in comments before..you should eat almonds to help agaist the acid reflux.. it really helps! (Its a natural remedy we get told by our midwives in Europe). The Elderberry FLOWER you should harvest and dry in the oven, jar, and keep for making a tea when you have fever, flu, colds etc. Get the lamp shade holders that clip on the bulb to attach to your lamp shade. Or go to a light shop and ask advice because the shade and base look perfect together. There are metal half round supports you can use for the flowers to support them, so they stand upright.
I love my uppababy mesa stroller set 😍 comes with carseat, bassinet, and stroller seat as well. It is pricey but my husband and I found that by the time you bought all the necessary pieces it was the best deal 👏🏼 hope this helps! Another thing to consider is that what carseat you choose can depend on the vehicle you drive too
We loved our Bugaboo for everyday, living in Europe with cobble stones were no problem, the maneuverability was absolutely great, for the stroller, it is a bit pricey but, it was worth it. Loved it so much that we bought their Bugabee for travel and was no problem when traveling to Hawaii and going over the volcanic grounds. Hope this helps
We just transistioned my one year old from the Doona (which we loved) to the Mocking Bird - Single to Double 2.0. We wanted something versatile and sturdy without the insane price tag. We are loving it so far! Such a good all-terrain stroller and looks way more expensive then it is. And, we are prepared for a second child when the time comes. Hope this helps!
we love our mockingbird stroller! we have the single to double. we’ve had it for almost 5 years & it’s still going strong, amazing quality & a great price point
We like the Nuna Brand, we have a double stroller that’s NOT bulky. And then for car seats once they grow out of newborn, we like the ones that swerve. You’ll thank your back lol
Such a lovely relaxing video to watch, thank you Allison! I love the music and footage moment when you cross over to the morning and taking a piece of zucchini bread out of the display case and then pouring a coffee. Genius! ❤
Hey Allison, absolutely love your videos!! I’m in nursing school and learned about acid reflux last semester. Some foods to avoid are acidic, spicy, coffee. Now obviously do what’s best for your body, but just thought I would share that with you. Congrats on your baby boy! You’re going to be a great mom
I have this feeling that you had your baby!! I keep checking to see if you've posted anything lol... my prayers are with you and your family as we head into August. I feel like I'm part of your family omg I'm super excited for you guys!!
Happy Saturday Allison! ☀️ I loved this video along all the other ones! The zucchini bread looks delish! Thrifting is such a fun thing to do. I also loved the new baby rocker, so adorable. The date night pizza looked yumm! Keep the date nights coming after baby arrives too. You guys will need it after you both get adjusted and settled. 🩵
love your stroller nook. Zucchini bread is delicious ! Love all your shopping finds. that rocker is so cute. It's so relaxing watching you. Thanks. Have a great day!
I felt the same way trying to pick out a stroller! I went with a Nuna Mixx but got it secondhand off of FBMP! Such a quality stroller but if when we have more kids and I want something else, I won’t feel as upset getting a different kind. Facebook is such a great place to get lightly used baby products you only use for such a short amount of time!!
Thank you for the zucchini bread inspo! I will have to try it soon! You are glowing and glowing each time I watch your videos…such a beautiful person inside and out! Love, love watching your videos sweetie! Have a wonderful rest of your summer! Can’t wait…🍼👶🏻🩵
Found out a couple of weeks ago that my step daughter absolutely loves watching your videos. I would ask her at night before she goes to bed if she wants to watch Allison or cocomelon and almost everytime she said allison. I just think it's the cutest thing.
The lamp piece you are looking for is a called a harp. They are easy to find if you google harp or lamp harp holder. Love your thrifty finds! Blessings!
Pizza and ice cream! Thats what I'm talkin about!!!!! Rain and rainbows... life is so good. The zucchini bread did look delicious. May I ask where you got the gorgeous wood bread riser with dome? I do add chocolate chips to zucchini bread too. I love cream cheese on any type of banana or zucchini bread. Sounds like life is good and getting better!
Coconut oil is always a great substitute for unhealthy omega 6 vegetable oil in sweet baking items. Avocado, olive, or (coconut) oils are great substitutes for vegetable oil in savory baking items.
Hi love first off congratulations and love watching your videos…. My daughter is 4 and I still have our uppa baby vista stroller, is the best especially for long walks and grocery shopping the underneath bag is amazing. She still fits perfectly comfortable in it now if we need it.
I love your outfit love the color💜 I know there's more then 1 recipe on zucchini bread but the one I use has a powdered sugar on top with chopped walnuts. But you can delete the nuts too. So many recipes but much love to you ❤️
you can add chocolate chips to your zucchini bread. :) i make this a lot for farmer's market and it's a huge hit. i also add blueberries to make a blueberry zucchini bread which makes a nice breakfast.
Allison I absolutely love this motherhood era you’re in you are literally a walking ray of sunshine & your excitement for baby boy radiates through and through it’s so heartwarming 🌞💙 I love your channel so much it’s a piece of peace and joy that I can escape to whenever! 🥰

A cozy Saturday morning made perfect with an Allison video 🎉🎉🎉
Lovely way to spend a Saturday morning with Allison 🌺 praying for you all as you prepare to welcome your baby boy 🥹

Love the Bassinet for long day out because baby can nap and stretch.
And it can upgrade to a double if the need arises.

Love your videos! You are such a beautiful pregnant girl and you both are going to make the best parents. One blessed little boy!
Uppababy is the best because you can add on to it and it truly grows with your family rather than buying more strollers etc..
A Saturday video! 😊🩷🌸☀️
Good morning Allison happy Saturday morning to you and I enjoy your channel and you are amazing supporter
ALSO - a huggggge reason we got Nuna over other brands: its car seats are nontoxic and flame retardant free! so super healthy for bb 🥺🤩
I love your desktop wallpapers so much!! I’ve used them every month since you started making them, they help keep my computer tidy and cute! 🥰
Also rain cover is good idea
Uppababby stroller and cybex ❤ they are perfect!
In that cozy corner, add a shelf or a hook to put the diaper bag! That way if you’re running out of the house, all the baby stuff is in 1 place.
Love your videos. One suggestion for zucchini bread is to add a little salt to draw the water out. This could be the reason for it being too moist. Just a suggestion.
Strawflower really takes over a garden space, expanding into EVERYTHING.
Another thing to consider is that what carseat you choose can depend on the vehicle you drive too
The lamp is a keeper! The type of shade it uses is the kind that grabs the lightbulb. It'll clip onto the bulb itself
Oh my goodness what a special treat to enjoy Allison on a relaxing Saturday morning ! You are such an inspiration ❤️❤️
Genius! ❤
Allison, you are adorable with your bump! I love your pink romper
Thank you, Adrienne 🥹💓
@@ALLISONBICKERSTAFF such a cute romper!! where is it from?? :-)
元気な赤ちゃんが生まれてきますよーに❤
My mom makes a chocolate zucchini cake every summer with the zucchini from her garden and it is so good, especially with ice cream on top haha
Oh, I love that so much 🥒 we’ll have to try it with chocolate chips soon!
Chicoo Active 3 travel system is the best stroller for outdoors, trails, hiking…!! We used ours for more than 5 years and was still going strong!
Yes sometimes when we have a baby we forget about our couple.
You are a positive ray of sunshine.
Love Zuccini bread - you can add dark chocolate chips to it as well. The Pizza sounds delicious.
Love our Mockingbird stroller and baby carriers are so great for rougher terrain.
love your stroller nook.
You look great, positively glowing!
Absolutely love the yoyo zen baby stroller !
Found out a couple of weeks ago that my step daughter absolutely loves watching your videos. I would ask her at night before she goes to bed if she wants to watch Allison or cocomelon and almost everytime she said allison. I just think it's the cutest thing.
I love your videos so so much, congratulations on the little bundle of joy! Sending blessings from England ❤
Your videos are always and inspiration !
We love our mockingbird stroller!!!
So beautiful i appreciate and I'm thankful for your videos ❤❤❤❤ I love how you are so creative 💕💕💕
Uppa Baby🤍 loved ours!
You could glue them on a pretty mat and frame them in a shallow box frame.
You can do a nice autumn decor with those dryed flowers on your little library outside ❤
Coconut oil is always a great substitute for unhealthy omega 6 vegetable oil in sweet baking items. Avocado, olive, or (coconut) oils are great substitutes for vegetable oil in savory baking items.
I was going to say the same thing! Butter, ghee, avocado, coconut are much better for you 😊
Hi love first off congratulations and love watching your videos….
Sweet potato leaves are sooo yummy satay with garlic!!
The UppaBaby Vista V2 is beyond worth the money🤍 and they grow with the family.
I had the worst heartburn while in the last stage of my pregnancy. Baking soda in warm water works really well. 😊
The chocolate zucchini bread sounds amazing I’ll have to make one! You will love your motherhood era so happy for you 🫶🏼✨☀️
