I installed Musiclily brass block and saddles. Definite upgrade. It got rid of the nasty, zinc cast saddle induced, ice pick highs, increased sustain, and improved frequency response on my SE Custom 24. Single coil sounds are now usable.
No doubt they are good. It depends on the tone you are looking for. I ended up putting this bridge on my strat copy which needed it more since the PRS SE bridge are already very good to begin with.

coincidentally, i had the same issue recently, apparently it was the nut. I cut the slot too low so the buzzing was with the first fret. I was able to fix it by removing the nut, adding wood material w superglue and sanding down again and re did the nut slots.
It is steel indeed. Magnet sticks to it. The se saddles do do not. So probably zinc? Which is good. Too much steel and tone starts bei g a bit harsh. I will try out musiclilly brass saddles on my Tremonti se. Cheers

Musiclily is junk. Bought a "Wilkinson" vintage tremolo from them and it was terrible. So what about actually using this PRS style trem - you know - as a vibrato - and tell us if it stay's in tune?
yeah its rock solid, stays in tune pretty well. Stays in tune pretty well even after a lot of trem use or diving. Almost all non locking trems go off a few cent some really out and its an inherent flaw. Even my SE and Core trems go off a bit after a trem dive. Pulling back on the trem sets it back in tune.

Definitely more clarity and definition, sounds brighter, but still a great degree of roundness in the tone. Works for me, great job.
thanks 🙏 yeah, it indeed sounds better. I wanted to create this video so others may benefit from knowing how it fairs :)
Brass actually adds midrange. In this case, it was more clarity with the steel bridge.

This can come from tremolo springs (there are videos where people fill the springs with foam), loose saddle screws, or even pickup springs!
so how is the tuning stability compared to the Se one? the whole point of a trem kinda ;)
just the same as the SE bridge. I think the main difference you get is the overall weight, and brass block. Tone is slightly different.
