Priceless! Watching those 2 hummingbirds together at the same time was so cute. I've been watching all kinds of birds coming to my heart bubbler but one of these I could put closer to my hummingbird feeders and keep the water cooler for them.

Thank you so much for recommending this. It never occurred to me to even look if there were usb pumps these days! I haven't been able to set up a fountain that lasts because we have so much cloud cover where I live in the PNW, so solar isn't an option, and if I use something with an AC cord, I have to put it where the raccoons can get to it. They have their own tub they can drink out of, haha, but they just *love* to take apart fountains with their clever, clever hands. Unfortunately that means they drag it out of the water and end up burning out the motor or clogging the pump with mud or various other catastrophes before I can get to it. I was going to construct a cage that had wire spacing big enough for birds to get through but not raccoons, this year. But with this setup, I can rig one to hang on our raccoon-proof pole, also.
We too have raccoons now. And that sounds perfect. And using a power bank, the pump is so reliable, and this particular pump has been really good too and the idea that the birds have moving water even before the sun comes up, is making them all come to it 😊

I saw a hummingbird in my feeder this morning, I was so happy I hope he or she tells their friends to come and feed.
I may use my older portable solar bank for my patio table bird bath. Right now it is a floating solar and I have plenty of birds at it (bowl/rocks) I have 2 other floating solar baths plus a plug-in electric pump in a pedestal bath (which they love.)I keep it plugged in all the time. Love your videos.

I made 2 fountains w/ recycled plastic balls & small “trash” bins & haven’t had a hummer touch it yet it’s been 5 days. I’m in Florida I’ve never seen a hummer living in St Pete but moved to Brooksville & there’s tons. I do have 2 small dogs that are out often but the hummers don’t seem to mind as long as they don’t get too close. We don’t have a lot of shrubs & just 2 younger oaks. I do think the hummers need more cover (shrubs, etc..) to feel safe. I’ll have to move the fountains up higher & closer to the tree. I’ll get them to use it one way or another! lol 😂

I love this Robbie! I'm hesitant to buy another power bank, because the last one I bought stopped working after about a month. I had it in a plastic bag, but the elements did something to it, to where the connection stopped working. It was like it got worn out. I'm going to see how long yours last, before I buy any more.

I don’t understand how the water is coming up out of the cup. Is there a tubing from the bowl into the cup? What kind of tubing? If so? How often does the water run out. I am obviously very tech illiterate. I have hummingbird feeders. I would love a freshwater fountain like this for them. And for the birds .

I’m working so hard to bring birds to my garden. There is so many dos and a lot of don’ts that’s driving me crazy. I have a fountain bird bath and it’s near a small peach tree but in full sun. So then I’m told bird bath should never be in full sun. I have no other options.. then I noticed others with birdbath in full sun. I tried to find the best shade I could - then found out the birds must have a 360 degree view of the birdbath - I’m so confused. I just wanted a simple garden with birds.. I’m just about done with all of it. Too many rules..

Get any power bank for cell phone at 10,000, that Will run for days. Just look thru Walmart or any place you normally buy things, and you will find them. When I see them cheap, I will post them in my newest videos, the sales do sell out fast
