@@neet-lb5ll , After completing UG, you should try for Post Graduation from Govt college with stripen. After that you are eligible for teaching in ayurvedic college. And, start private practice after completing internship. And, after completing UG you are eligible for ayurvedic medical officer but post graduation is desirable.

I was astonished to see the surgical instruments shown in this video because they look almost similar to that we use today. It's amazing. Some of the instruments resembles modern day scalpel and skin retarctors.

@@metsys7928 medicine is based on hit n trials, and we learn with experiments. Even in modern allopathy some of the procedures likes guillotine tonsillectomy which are obsolete now would be considered unethical. Amputation stories in pre anesthetic era too had gruesome outcomes.

Actually, Indian students do have his honorable mention in their coursebook, but his mention is present only in the history books for higher studies, but not in the books for 5th or 6th grade kids.
So if someone wants to know about the glorious past of India, he has to take either arts as his major, or has to study about it separately, which most of us Indians don't do in our academic years.
@za za even I was in a cbse school, and by higher studies I meant college or university studies. Because in my textbook during my undergraduate degree it had his mention and btw, I was a commerce student and opted for an arts subject as an optional course, so I have studied about him then.
