Randy I can't explain how grateful I am for guys like you helping me get my lawn care business going. Your challenges have helped me think things through in ways I never would have. I have everything I need and was hoping to start this season but I'm still fighting cancer with good results so far. I'll be starting late season and with no income my credit is now shot but I couldn't be more prepared. Thank you 👊🏼🧔🇺🇸
i got a 32 inch stander also for 1850 recently very similar to yours! love the mower so far got it with 450 hours and just had to spray some carb cleaner up the main jet
That was a steal!! Gobbler too! I think you’ll be much better off with that over a stander “b”, in spite of not having a floating deck. Small trade off fir a better quality machine. It’s refreshing seeing you all “giddy” over it. Lol
That's a steal! Nicely done. I had an old 36" SWZU and sold it because of what you said - to hard to maneuver in small areas. I will have to start looking for an older wright stander!
That is a good price with the accelerator for sure. I remember the video where we were suppose to guess what you were buying and I guessed a 32 inch Wright Stander, do I win? LOL. Mice mower Randy. That sucks about gas tank leaking.
We got 4” last night and none of it stuck to pavement or walks, NW Missouri. It was all melted off by noon today. Awesome little Wright you got there!!!
Good morning. Nice find for the fleet. A quick search will produce fuel tank sealers. Ex: KBS (I have no affiliation) That said this is something I did on a boat tank several years ago. I didn't use this particular product but the process works. Remove tank, clean inside tank pour in sealant replace tank problem solved. For me 125 gal aluminum fuel tank for a Mako Success for a fraction of the cost of a new tank. Sealant will not break down over time and foul system. Also remains flexible. My 2 cents. Best of luck.
It's good you found something you will be happy with and will work for what you need. Can't wait for a vid in the next couple days to see about the snow. I'm in CT and last thursday the weather clowns were calling for 5-8. Yeh we got 1. Thanks for the vid!
@@andrewstratton806 jb weld ? I have super surfer with bad tank and discontinued tank...prep work with jb weld on tank ??? Thank you. Have a great day...
Friend , your as enthused with snow removal as I have been for ten years, hate it. This is the first winter I am dropping so I can travel a bit on the off season.
Thinking abt getting a wright 36. Worried about being tired being on a stander versus sit down after cutting 8-10 lawns a day. How are you holding up when using a stander
Randy I would recommend you the flex tape I use flex tape to seal my gas tank two years ago and it worked for a couple months just fine Great video keep it up
@@CountrysideStrongyou can also try epoxy putty that might work as well for a gas tank but you have to make sure the gas can is clean and then apply it
Nice mower I've had 2 only difference is mine are John Deere green get the new tank it's a nice mower and be careful that tank sticks out as wide as the mower deck check the hydro belt too they last about 300 hrs good luck with your new mower 🙂👍👍
Ouch. Be careful. Belt drives don't like velkes. They'll do it but you literally cut that transmission life in half. I've replaced a few. Find one on eBay and keep it as a spare
@@CountrysideStrong right I know the motor was a 12horse but the guy I got it from but a 14horse Kawasaki motor on which I like and I need a grass catcher for it too
More power is better but that doesn't do anything for the transmission. Just be prepared. It'll get the job done, just have a spare so not much down time
Had the plow and salt spreader packed away. They are both on the truck. 3 zero tolerance properties that are still under contract. Can’t take the chance. I like you would rather error on the side of caution !!!
I need a stand in so bad! Something I’ve learned buying used equipment... they are selling it because something is wrong with it! Everytime I buy a used mower it goes to the shop. I’m starting to now learn what to look for
I know I’m late to the game but there’s a product called Seal All that will patch that right up. You can get it at most hardware stores and gasoline does not damage it. I’ve used it several times to patch gas tanks and gas cans.
Randy I hope you don't have to plow. I really like those videos but not April 21. I hope I don't have to shovel. Nice mower that will work Nice for you. Take care
Sweet little stander! So do you prefer standers or riders? Taking it further, what would you choose between them for a 2.5 acre yard? Oh and we got a few inches of snow this evening here in north central Indiana.
Drain your tank , clean the fiberglass off Use a cheap soldering iron and some kind of plastic and melt in the hole or crack I fixed a tank on scag like that
I would order a new tank, you know how they get in the sun and pressurized. You don't want that letting go under pressure and start squirting all over your other mowers on the trailer and make a scag toro wright smores. With that low hours its worth putting the new parts on
Nice choice, Have I mentioned that I sold you so? You really should have bought a stander 36 (or 32) to begin with instead of a walk behind. The walk behind is kind of clunky in comparison to the stander.
hell yeah brother helluva good find and if you want to know the year of the morew look at the serial which should be under the Engine and go to Wrights website it will tell you the year and the Day it was Built
