Tried plowing with an ecoboost f150 and it was the worst plowing experience ever. Got a 1994 GMC with a 350 and it pushes way better and doesn't burn oil and foul plugs up. Also the ecoboost kept blowing turbos and eventually cracked the block in half and had NO low end power
Ford doesn't recommended plowing with an EcoBoost- they will only add the F150 plow prep package to a 4x4 5L V8. The EcoBoost won't get enough air due to the plow and the slow speed. If you didn't have the extra heavy duty alternator and electrical shutoff switch you may also have been lacking power to the plow.
Jim Killion they can be bought at your local auto store. They bolt on to the front of the frame. You should not have to drill it should already have holes that you will use.

Scary blotchy welding job on that unit, would not buy one of those until welding was seriously improved

Is that an eco boost turbo or 5.0 f150?

That wouldnt last 1 storm here, might be ok for places that rarely get snow
It's a residential low cost plow. It doesn't state anywhere that it's commercial heavy use plow.
