Harstem channeling Bly was what I needed in my life. If I may, the only weakness in your zerg play is that you seem to not have made as many queens as you want. The following formula helps me keep track of my queen production: If queen count < infinity; then produce queens.

here's a thought, if you were to go mutas instead of infestors, then could manage the medvic drops and keep the roach/ravager at the front door. securing the containment and able to stop any future harassment, letting you infinitely expand.
It's not a natural, natural (expansion) means the location where you'd naturally expands to first. Naturally the first expansion goes down on the natural, but sometimes it goes down on your third or gets proxied.
I make 9 ravagers for bunkers. 7 biles of 9 can kill it even with SCVs repair it, and when it blows up 2 consequtive biles kill marines instantly. Same thing works with zerg buildings. It's funny to watch how broodlings die in just a moment after they are spawned.
Here's an idea for stupid stuff: as protoss, build whatever you want, but ONLY defend UNTIL you have a mothership. Then you can go as offensive as you'd like with it and whatever troops you have ready.

That Terran you can kinda do that build but you need to transition into speedlings, bane speed , and mutaz. Also spreed a bunch of creep. And send in overseers constantly. Terrains can get annoying with the drops and tanks. Don't go infestors its an uphill battle if you don't do any damage in the beginning. This is from someone half your mmr that does the same exact build, so take my advice with a grain of salt
I do believe that taking enemy bases as zerg is the best strategy. It creates pressure on the opponent and confuses him, it takes away his resources in the long run and provides more aggressive options. The problems are he can attack quicker and can surprise with drops. So overlord speed is important and having units is necessary but they can also be used aggressively so when he goes for drops, he can die at home and with good map control and map vision it is a really good way to play this game.
Harstem Gotta say you def do very well as Zerg. You second guess yourself which is funny compared to your Terren/Protoss but you still get great results from many of your attacks. For your Proxy Hatch i would def recommend early overlord upgrade so it becomes an observer with extended range for the ravenger pushes on terran
ZvT ravager rush is pretty easily countered if scouted, I prefer non-proxy versions. Rapidfire biles around the outskirt of the bunker will hit any repairing SCVs plus the bunker.
I have only one complaint about the video production: I had to increase my monitor brightness to 200% in order to be able to see something on the maps and in the fights. Perhaps the creep has something to do with this, but nevertheless this is a first for me. Kevin was a little "blown out", but I can live with that :D Other than this I loved this episode.
On the third match, I think a nydus connecting the proxy and the main would have been appropriate for defense/offense. I don't understand why nydus aren't used more often for that purpose. Edit: the comment was made near the beginning of the video, as the game goes on and the terren is attacking you everywhere, you're forced to chase him around the map, putting out one fire after the other. Once again, WHY DON'T ZERG PLAYERS USE NYDUS DEFENSIVELY??????
The last game in this video proves that upgrades are not that important. More stuff beats less stuff. Lair, +1, roach speed = 350 minerals + 300 gas which is about 5 extra roaches plus 175 extra gas which could have been more minerals instead for more roaches and lings.
Not sure you have it right, those upgrades and tech would have been good into the late game and great for defending harstems pushes. That Z messed up by attacking into the natural and not just containing the third and then expanding
Terrans are gross man I mean if the main advantage of Zerg is supposed to be their Mobility, why is it that terrans get Mobility that's basically as almost as good, a way better starting unit because you know Marines are way better than zerglings, Siege tanks are out relatively quickly and counter virtually everything ground and drops can just win you the game. It just seems to me like terrans for the most part have the most versatility, cheap and effective early units, have the best harassment options, bar none, and are strong, maybe not the strongest, but are strong, during every phase of the game. I think what makes me hate them so much is just how forgiving they are to play. like you make one mistake as a zerg or protoss, you're dead, where as that's not usually the case with Terran, because they are so goddamn safe.
@@introprospector Yeah it's the marching a bit deeper that is a bit dangerous but I think it looked well worth the extra damage. Looked like he was going to kill it if the SCVs had to run away, or die to keep it up, but it might not have been even that close, in any case getting the SCV kills plus the bunker would probably have been his only chance of winning there :P
@@erikkarlsson9192 zerg should bleed units. Any trade is good. If there are few marines or if there is 1 tank you are fine. If there is a ball of marines or a blob of tanks you are fucked. It doesn't really matter how much stuff you have. Best just trade everything away and make new stuff.

The proper follow up are mutalisks, they give vision and kill drops.

Actually since Harstem is in Bly mode I would argue that the proxy expansion is natural for that mode thus making it a natural expansion.

i never tried it out but can you neural a full medivac and unload them? because you didnt neural the marines inside.

That's true, it's got a little aoe. Bit of a skill shot and you wave to march a little deeper into enemy fire though
