The #ChevroletTrax has been widely known for its cheap offerings and being the embodiment of ugly! Since its release in 2013 in the European market its has undergone some slight transformation starting in 2017, which wasn't anything to write home about either. However In 2022 the latest #ChevyTrax Redesign gave it a much sleeker appearance and a whole lotta Rizz. Most Notabbly #Chevrolet was even able to Reduce the Price compared to previous models giving you a wide range of trim levels including the highly touted #TraxActiv which is fully loaded. The #Trax that i am reviewing today is the #Trax1RS Trim Which will Cost you around 23K.

You raise a good point on the keyed start. What would it cost to make push button start across the board. I'd say the simplified standard equipment would be less expensive feature for them in the long run. You're also the first review that I think mentioned the auto high beam feature -- nice job!
It doesn't bother me that there's a little bit of wheel spin in wet weather, nobody likes a system that is too reactive which tends to often be the case with anti-lock brake systems.
For what the vehicle is at the price point it's at it seems like a bargain. I'm planning a move down to a Trax from a '23 Ford for multiple reasons, health, finances as a result of health, and want something that while isn't blistering fast still has a sense of fun and practicality to it. And I say "down" like it really is one, but I don't necessarily see it that way as my Ford is also an entry-level model, and the heated seats, steering wheel, were an over $1500 option and I still have a key to start the vehicle, and a rather poor sounding stereo that has glitched more in the one year I've owned it than the last three vehicles I've owned combined.

Just purchased my 2024 Chevy Trax LS "Sterling Gray" (Entry Level) on February 14th, 2024, for 21,495.00. "ITS THE SAME TRAX" as the 1Rs, LT, 2RS, and the Active. Just without the special stitching, bigger tires, nicer rims, black bow-tie, digital display/11 inch screen, push button start, moon roof, and motorized front seat (thats only found on the Active). With all that being said, its a great car! Please move up to a "different category" if you want a more powerful engine, plusher interior, more amenities, etc...
For everyday, around town use, at a great price, nothing can beat "THE 2024 CHEVY TRAX!"

I've a 23 Ford that cost quite a bit more and it has a key too, disappointing at the higher costs.

Its a 21K base MSRP vehicle and you expect top notch stereo system. NOT!!!. The stereo speakers isn't bad just adjust the settings and I assume you don't know how to? As far as the Engine size and Turbo GM isn't making the mistake they did with the 1.4 4 cylinder Turbo in the Cruze, this 1.2 3 cylinder gets the job done nicely and their is no CVT onboard it's a 6 speed auto. If you want better seats move up a trim.Otherwise the Trax is a steal for an budget minded consumer.........

I’ve had my Chevy Trax 1RS for about a month now . And I don’t understand why people are saying the acceleration is poor . This car has plenty of get up & go . I’ve driven my car in the pouring rain more than once & never once has it slipped . Also the stereos is a Bose system & it kicks ass . For the money you just cannot beat this vehicle . Your review is very mediocre at best .

I just bought a 2024 activ, you cannot get the Bose stereo. The top line comes with a 6 speaker system.

@@carlchapin8352 I got a six speaker system with the 1RS & it cranks . Which is strange because it says that it only comes with four . But I have four in the front & two in the back .

I have a 2024 activ, yes with a few sound adjustments to the stereo, phone it does sound nice.

There's probably no tweeters in your apillar"windshield molding." There's a speaker cover with no speaker behind it. These are the two speakers they add with the upper level models.
