  • The All-New 2024 Chevy Trax has been a hot commodity ever since they released. Chevy completely redesigned the Trax in every single aspect you can think of. Size, drivetrain, looks, interior, technology, etc. They are what you would call an "Economy SUV". The reason for that is because they're only offered in FWD, which allows them to be at the price point of around $24k. For instance, that puts the 2024 Chevy Trax in the same price range as the Kia Forte and Hyundai Elantra.
Which is unreal because you'll be in an SUV instead of a sedan. Watch our driving review of the 2024
Chevy Trax 1RS so you can decide if it will be the right vehicle for you!

People have such high expectations but complain about the rise in prices for vehicles. Chevy absolutely killed it with this car. Looks amazing & has some really good features such as heated seats/steering wheel which are both things you wouldn’t normally get in second trim up from base. I love that they’re trying to make good vehicles affordable again. Most people I know would be ecstatic so own this type of car. So the fact they accomplished this for $23k is applaudable

This vehicle from GM and made in Korea is a steal folks, Standard safety features on all trims, No CVT just a 6 speed auto, Wireless Carplay/Android Auto, LED headlights. The only (Con) is the Wet timing belt should have used a timing chain which is more durable..........

Have you seen GMs track record on transmissions last 5 years? They are horrible with reliability. I do think this looks good but it's a gm product which is sad to say has really went down hill in reliability.

Only gripe, gotta find the "sweet spot" of the manually adjusted Car Seat. The left knee against that hard plastic button protector, even on a short drive. You really got to get it adjusted between seat slide and seat adjuster. When you have a long drive, I believe invest in some cheap lumbar support cushion! I think longevity got nailed with not overtaxing the engine ( 137 hp/ 162 torque , 6-speed automatic). NO CVT! My 2013 Chevy Sonic 133 hp, almost 100,000 miles and no break downs of any sort! I got it with 72,000 miles, 4 years ago. I hope, this will have that VW beetle, Geo Metro type of longevity in a tough, small motor!

Sunroof is too far behind, and very little. When out in traffic the get up and go is not good, to the point where you might have to change your mind, no good. The rear view mirror is too small, but you don’t see much back there anyhow, seems like you are always driving out of a tunnel, Giant Blind Spot. Good thing drivers warning system is there, because, you will need it. Overall I don’t agree with the assessment of this young driver. The back up camera is located in such a place that it is Required that it be cleaned CONSTANTLY. Not very smart spot.

Front wheel drive should be obsolete in 2023! 4 wheel drive or all wheel is a must for me!!
