linage 2 was amazing back in the day. my friend and i had red characters will full endgame gear and would raid cruma and take out full parties afew times a day. there were very few people who could kill us. he played an abyss walker and i was a dark avenger. at the time those were the endgame classes. i would run in and do the skill where i couldnt take damage i forget the name but while everyone targeted me he would come in and pick them off 1 by 1. nobody stood a chance against us. some of the funnest pvp experiences i've ever had in any mmo. the only thing better was being in blood in asherons call on darktide. no game will ever come close to asherons call pvp
@@CrusaderGamin lineage 2 is indeed An amazing MMO. Have great memories of playing that game for hours, the work you had to put into your character was very rewarding and the social structures that formed on each server made it special.
So, you've gone to all of the maps and have completed all of the dungeons. You and your clan had gathered and crafted all Tier III and IV magic items? Probably not. You've crafted all of the magical weapons and armor pcs? Probably not.
I absolutely did not go through that painful process. You see, a game even in "Early Aces" is meant to be entertaining, we had our fun creating the base and farming those early sets of armor and struggling our way to higher tiers. But farming four days without a goal is not my definition of fun, and more if there are going to be wipes in the road ahead. I simply rather spent my time playing other games. I do admire your ability to reach to those tiers of gear and clearly enjoy the game. Thank you for commenting and i will keep up with the game as it goes on in the future, as i said at the end of my video, i am routing for Pax Dei.
pax dei is obvious scam, just watch developer video or read developer blogs and it is so obvious. their "CEO" is middle aged woman who has never owned a gaming pc, their lead developer says he doesn't play MMOs and just plays card games. its very obvious if you pay attention and investigate.
Too many games have been in testing phase forever. People are not willing to put their time in unfinished product which might never work. When talking about MMO:s people play them thousands of hours which means several years of free work if you do 8 hour working days. A very important point to remember whatever game you are playing at. Also to be honest building homes and stuff is not the main thing people are looking for when they are playing MMO. There has to be interesting competitive aspects that are not dependant of how much time you have for pointless grinding. Grinding is a thing of past when now middle aged fat persons were young and had unlimited time to press buttons.
@@jalmarihuitsikko7211 Fair view point. Let see how they handle the rest of development, that is if the funding allows them to keep working in the current direction.
the housing is not that good in pax dei, pretty standard basic building. older games were much more fun, like club penguin or runescape you had huge house parties all the time. in pax dei your house is just a stupid "base" that you use to store a million chests, not fun.
this game could be completely designed by a single person, the only complicated thing would be all the infrastructure costs like all the servers and stuff. it is basically a bare bones mmo/survival hybrid, with terrible combat and no real direction or lore or purpose.
It is awesome for early access. Gonna be great Nov 5. It isn’t a game yet. Just wait. Gonna be amazing.
