Really enjoy the Edison content, hope you post more of it. The Edison games that get played in high rated are always super dynamic and interesting to watch
I think its cool to see some of the old videos. I like the majority being modern stuff but especially as any format feels solved the old stuff is nice.
don't understand why they went dyna + fissure before smashing ground. you know your opp plays return and you're now holding only 1 unknown when you smash as opposed to 3 unknowns. made it a lot easier for their opponent to decide whether saving caius was worth it
People get in the habit of removing the opponent’s monster AFTER summoning their own. Because often the opponent won’t use their bottomless/torrential when the other monster poses no threat. So if you summon first you can make them hold those on-summon cards and then remove their monster later. But with torrential and solemn judgment both being at 1, it’s really a 50/50 in the situation where they’re summoning dyna. Glad player played around TT but not Solemn.
I've always found it questionable when people will say "let's play edison format" then spit it out dark end dragon all the time even though that monster was only available as like an $800+ prize card in that format. If you look at the top 16 lists, no one had DED. I know you can make the CCV argument but you actually would still run into CCV in a lot of top decklists.
