I like implementing a pyramid style rep scheme utilizing higher volume and a mix of high reps (as high as 12-15+) and low reps (as low as 1-3) increasing the weight as reps decrease. I’ve found it very effective for muscle and strength gain. But there is no one size fits all, really it comes down to what works for you. What works for one individual might not work for someone else.
