Several actors have returned to play different roles in Bond movies. Joe Don Baker is a perfect example. He played a villain in The Living Daylights and a good guy in GoldenEye and Tomorrow Never Dies.
+CraftBeerHead Interesting choices, but if Hardy was to play anyone, it should be Bond himself. Kingsley and Hopkins are great choices for villains. Isaacs is interesting, although I haven't seen him play many villains other than Lucius Malfoy in the HP movies, but playing a Bond Villain would be an interesting choice (but a much different type of villain obviously). He is a pretty versatile actor. Hell, speaking of the HP movies, Ralph Fiennes would be a pretty good choice too.

His cover would be the mild mannered history professor who is feeding Bond clues about the organization. He'd see a bored, disgruntled Bond as a valuable asset.

+The Pho Eater I'd give it an 8/10, the action's great, Craig owns the role as usual also it has a lot more humour than the previous Craig Bonds but Christoph Waltz as the villain is great but is underdeveloped, the third act is underwhelming and some plot points are predictable. +The Pho Eater I'd give it an 8/10, the action's great, Craig owns the role as usual also it has a lot more humour than the previous Craig Bonds but Christoph Waltz as the villain is great but is underdeveloped, the third act is underwhelming and some plot points are predictable. Except from that it's worth watching in cinemas.

Gary Oldman, Guy Pierce, Willem Dafoe, Joaquin phoenix and Kevin Spacey are very interesting ones. There are some actors who are not among the living anymore who could have played Bond villains, like Heath Ledger or Philip Seymour Hoffman. I think Alan Rickman will be a good one too. Or Anthony Hopkins. Christian Bale? Bill Nighy? Mickey Rourke? So many good actors. I hope there will be many more Bond-films in the future, and hope we will see some of them as an upcoming-iconic Bond-vilain
