wait, what? posca's only come in so many colors, so are only for base coats or cartoony drawings. blending when wet will get the colors all over and mess up the nibs. I mean, you can get this of, but it wastes paint and takes a long time if you remove the nib.
Depends how u wanna blend it if u want that cartoony type look just overlap with with a darker color u don’t have to make it super detailed it looks good either way
How to shade like a pro! Draw a border then gently rub your finger toward the outside then add your second border & allow a little bit space between the line to leave a blending region between each color. Eventually working your way to your desired edge. I work from the center outwardly. So my transitions are smooth & are not blotchy. As mentioned you want to do a double coating for each layer. If you want very smooth transitions this is what I find works the best. You can also add water because they are a water base. But if you do. You must be frugal otherwise you're going to notice the pigment fade as you dilute the region. I suggest a makeup sponge they really do work great! More of a botching affect but I like the slide my fingers in my art 🤣
If the paint is still wet when you blend your marker will have a different color on it like if I mixed yellow and red together while wet the yellow would have red smudges and vice versa
Guys, please don’t blend posca markers While it can be fine if done correctly, blending them can get the paint to soak into a different marker, ruining it
Yes it will, poscas aren’t supposed to be blended because it will ruin the nibs, you should use some other art material, like color pencils or alcohol markers to blend!
Whwn the paint is wet then the other marker tip will be ruined for example if I blend orange with yellow so yellow marker tip will have some orange color and yellow which will ruin the original colour hope you understand what I am sayi
I use printing paper mostly for colour pencil and graphite or ink art But when i use water colour, marker and all i use a3 sheet made for drawing (They are expensive tho 💀)
My hairs are standing on end just looking at it. You know that screechy sound when you scribble colored markers on paper? 😬 nice coloring tips though. No pun intended. 😅

That’s what I’m thinking..looks good on your project but gets different colored paint all over your posca markers and nobody wants that.
So I don't think
A4 sheets are meant for acrylic markers so if you know can you pls tell me 🐽
Thanks @AndersonBluu I needed that I've been wondering how to blend them the right way!! ❤😊
You’re welcome. I’m happy the video was helpful 👌🏾

I find alcohol markers blend acrylic paint AMAZINGLY well! I used the colourless blender in one of my paintings and it worked a treat!
Thats good to know. I'll check out the markers.
Because posca is acrylic paint
@@AndersonBluuHow did do you draw my favorite sonic

First tip is helpful but it's actually a pretty good technique for shading

This is fantastic
Fantastic! Work
I don’t blend them when they are wet bc the colors mix on the tip of them
Thank you!
I love the way it overlaps anyways but thanks for letting us all know since I can use your way of blending to make the sunset of my drawing😊 ❤

I like the overlapping
"Dramaaa💀" GOT ME LAUGHING LOL
Thnak you ill do it when i got those:)
That sonic was sick 😎
I just blend with a regular paint brush when it’s semi wet then touch up gradients with Posca color pencils
What about the sketchbook with the Posca markers?

"Never blend posca markers when its dry, do it when its wet" but the nib?
Overall laping looks as good as blending
finally, a mainstream artist using poscas with common sense
But wont the red paint go into the yellows nib??
I NEED ANSWERS
😔
Yes it will, poscas aren’t supposed to be blended because it will ruin the nibs, you should use some other art material, like color pencils or alcohol markers to blend!
Last time I tried to blend Poscas it got really dirty
The overlap is a stylistic choice
It's still looks good though
I like it when it is over laping
Im just paying attention to the giga chad music
What if you dont want to blend but the colors arent dry yet
Thanks for the tips, but who actually tries to blend dried acrylic paint?
Don't do the first one it will dry out your marker
Whwn the paint is wet then the other marker tip will be ruined for example if I blend orange with yellow so yellow marker tip will have some orange color and yellow which will ruin the original colour hope you understand what I am sayi
✨PASCA✨Markers
But what about the tips aren't they gonna mix the colors on the tips?
I know this is random but it makes me uncomfortable how he holds the marker 😭
How to blend with posca markers
Step 1:
Just don’t blend with posca markers
Agreed
Same
But if it’s wet it can stuff up ur nib and make it all random colored
it is done on watercolor paper to paint with posca?
Forget everything about the markers-is computer paper just technically copy paper? Or is this a new type of paper?
The wet blending will just ruin the color 💀
THANK YOU 😎 BRO
Can you use watercolor paper?
where to buy the papers for posca markers?
it still looks good
I use printing paper mostly for colour pencil and graphite or ink art
But when i use water colour, marker and all i use a3 sheet made for drawing
(They are expensive tho 💀)
If you blend while the paint is wet, won't it affect the market tip/sponge's color?
Oh, and I also learned that from my art teacher just because I go to Rosemont Troy elementary
I’m really confused about how well printer paper works tho
But the tip of the Posca gets mixed with the other color
I recommend dales art supply & paper
Where do you get that paper?
Hey will watercolor paper work?
Why did i hear "pasta markers"-
Posca pens arn't really for blending their more for layering like with the first 2 drawings if you want to blend you should use normal acrylic
I can’t even blend posca markers the correct way cause I don’t have posca markers
I tried to buy a 90 dollar 12 pack and i didnt even get posca- but stillt he markers are good so 10/10
I have a question can you use those markers with water color paper just asking 🤔
yes you can
@@AndersonBluu oh ok
@@AndersonBluu thanks
In another video, he said that you SHOULD wait for it to dry cuz "it will just blend together"
My hairs are standing on end just looking at it. You know that screechy sound when you scribble colored markers on paper? 😬 nice coloring tips though. No pun intended. 😅
How come i have the mixed media sketchbook but the paper still rips??
Can I wet the paper a little bit to blend it?
Can posca markers work with staples paper?
Edit: lord pls let him say yes or no
Step 1:have a posca marker😂
So cool omg your artist
Thank you 🙏🏾
Posca markers are not made for realistic drawings. If you’re going to make realistic stuff like that, use colored pencils, or copic/brush tip markers.
Can you tell me what paper were you using plss ?
It usually blends on the tip of my marker and ruins it
I don’t really think poscas are good for shading after like one day of using them 🤣. More for letting it dry and going over the other paint.
You need more attention your the reason I got attached to drawing
Wow! Thanks for the nice comment 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
