Its a process getting covers up on spotify. An expensive process I don't have plans on any time in the immediate future, but I am working as hard as I can to get more music up ASAP. Counterintuitive records collaborated with me in the summer of 2019 to put out my debut cover record which is streaming, SO show that some love and i'll know ya'll wanting more of my content on streaming platforms is real!

@@M0NK3Y42 Metal harbor is just a pop punk song with horns lol. Ska is a genre definited by its rhythm (specifically rhythms based off it's parent genres of Mento and Calypso.) It's transformed throughout the years obviously, but it's all based around the danceable rhythm, which the original doesn't have. Big band is a term to describe jazz ensembles with huge horn sections (typically from the swing era, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, 5 saxes, sometimes more depending)

Ska is a genre based out of it's rhythm. It heavily uses emphasis on offbeats, and the original really has nothing ska about it lol. Ska is a genre that pre-dates punk by about 20 years, the original really is just a punk song with horns lol

Loved that Sonic Adventure 2 dipped it's toe in a little bit of ska that you managed to bring out in full force and fully realised. Absolutely brilliant.

Man, you don't know how much this means to me. One of my favorite themes on one of my favorite stages on a favorite childhood game, Metal Harbor was literally my first introduction to ska.
To now grow up and see my two favorite black musicians do such and amazing collaboration on this song that's so dear to my heart really touches me. ♥️ You guys are doing amazing things and I hope you never stop creating. 😊

Metal Harbor or "That's The Way I Like It" wasn't composed by Crush 40. Jun Senoue was the composer, the same guy who composed a bunch of other sonic music. If you want to know more of Jun Senoue's work in the Sonic series, either ask me or google.
